Doesn't appear to be wheelchair accessible from the steps at the front door. I'll be in Montreal soon visiting and was hoping that your store would be accessible. I guess I'll look for books elsewhere.

Lots of English and French books, specializing in graphic novels but with lots of fiction and non-fiction for discerning readers. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.

A great local book shop. For those visiting from English speaking locals, there are plenty of books in English and the staff spoke English. And for the francophones, there are plenty books in French and while I can't verify, I'm sure the staff also disk French. Books are new; this is not a used book shop.

If you are looking for something lasting as a reminder of your travels, something that is of Montreal, then Drawn & Quarterly is a must.

I love this bookstore so much, i’ve gotten so many books from here! This place has all the books i need, i once bought 8 books at once from this place it’s that good! Going here was an experience unto itself. The store was very busy- pre-covid level busy and the people were really nice. Everyone was wearing a mask.

The book selection was really interesting, varried, and delightful. There were so many books I had never heard of but were extremely intriguing.

The staff were phenomenal- they did their best to help with special requests and were very well informed.

This is what I consider a hidden gem. It is worth checking out simply for the experience although do not be surprised if you come out with a book or three.

Discovered different types of comics here apart from the superheroes in tights. This is where i discovered Guy Delisle, Kate Beaton and Montreal’s treasure, Michel Rabagliati, creator of the Paul series.

3 staff members working and not one of them greeted or asked if I needed help (I did) ended up buying 3 books worth total $50 with rude cashier didn’t bother to say “hello” or “thank you” and throwing the receipt at me instead of handing it to me like I’m a human being. I try as much as possible to support local but These types of experiences remind me why I prefer ordering online.

I ordered a book (in French that I remember from my childhood) and it was quick and efficient! Happy with my experience.

They offer a bunch of kids books and I’m happy to see they have themes such as justice, feminism, racial equality, etc.

My new favorite bookstore! They allow dogs inside and are very welcoming. Staff are very knowledgeable and the store has an expansive library of graphic novels and literature. They have tons of queer, black, multicultural, and even some first nations authors/artists. Just an awesome place!

Your heart will fill up with joy and wonder when you walk into this store. The shelves are filled with books that will tingle your brain with curiosity. So many graphic novels and a collection of novels that will inspire and overwhelm you with choice. A great place to get a gift or spend an afternoon browsing.

I'm so happy this place exists! Great selection and super knowledgable staff. Every time I go there I can't help but leave with way more than I planned to.

My most favourite bookstore in Montreal! This cozy cute place has wonderful selection of books (both of English and French, from novel to graphic). I always visited them when I wanted something new. I wish there was a bookstore like them in my town.

What a sweet little spot! I ordered some books that weren't currently in stock, and a lovely staff member emailed me updates on the progress of my order, and then I received a text with a picture of my package leaning against my apartment door (inside) to let me know it had arrived! 10/10 will buy from them again. Really just a lovely bookstore with niche selection of high quality books, graphic novels and comics. A definite recommend if you're in the area.

One of the best book stores I've ever been too, they have such a fantastic and rich selection of independent comics, graphic novels, books. The sellers are so sweet and gave me recommendations that were perfectly tailored to what I'm a fan of (I basically ended up buying every book that they suggested haha) An absolute must-go in Montreal.
