Librairie Le Port de tête

Le Port de tête, c'est une librairie généraliste aussi fabuleuse qu'intéressante. Spécialisée en bandes dessinées pour les petits comme pour les grands, livres d'enfants, romans et essais en sciences humaines et en arts, elle offre un choix de livres recherchés. Les libraires sauront vous accompagner dans votre recherche et, au besoin, commander les ouvrages si besoin est.
Les lancements de livres y sont fréquents et c'est le meilleur moment pour croiser des auteurs en vogue ou des artistes. Prendre note que les essais sont situés dans la boutique du côté Nord de l'avenue Mont-Royal, un peu en biais de la librairie originale.

I stopped in here to pick up a book for my friend’s kiddo, who is 1.5yo. I wanted some guidance on choosing a book that would be good for his age range, so I asked the woman behind the counter in the children’s section. She was so kind and sweet! My French is not very good, and she said her English was not the best (although it was much better than my French!) but she was still so helpful! She suggested a few options for books, and I went with “Maurice La Saucisse”. My friend’s son loves it, and apparently he has been waking up and immediately demanding “Maurice! ”:)

A magnificent bookshop where it is possible to find many books of Quebec literature in order to discover and spread it. But also much more. Very competent and passionate booksellers. Thank you

Incredibly helpful staff who suffered through my broken explanations of what I was looking for and offered several suggestions. I ended up buying nearly all of the recommended books. Planning on coming back!

Impossible de repartir sans rien, une belle boutique, et un très bon personnel qui s'y connaît!
