Loved my experience here! Friendly staff, cool atmosphere, chill vibe. Jerk chicken plate was so, so good. A great portion size, and the plantains and slaw brought so much to the tastes, textures and balance of flavour. Truly loved it, wish I had Lloydie's in my city! Took two patties to go so I could enjoy even more Lloydie's later!

Also, house made ginger beer was perfectly spicy and sweet!

J'ai été reçue par un employé fort sympathique. Service hyper rapide et repas fort délicieux. Pour une fille qui a habité en Jamaïque, je peux vous dire que le jerk pork était complètement savoureux, le riz, le plantain, la salade de choux à la noix de coco. C'était ma première fois et c'est certain que j'y retournerai. Je vous ferai de belles références?

This spot hit all the cravings we had for some fire jerk chicken and some bomb oxtail! Must visit, would definitely come back again!

Je ne peux parler de l'ambiance car j'ai commandé Uber Eats. Quelqu'un m'a mentionné que le restaurant "Duo de Chef" faisait les meilleurs oxtails en ville. Mais n'ayant jamais mangé d'oxtails je me suis dit de l'essayer d'un vrai authentique restaurant jamaïcain pour ensuite le comparer avec celui d'un restaurant haïtien. J'ai commandé mon plat qui a été servis avec de bonnes bananes plantains sucrées. Les oxtails etaient bons mais le riz

Quel genre de riz est-ce? Du riz Uncle Ben's? Vous pouvez acheter du riz Sada Basmati. Le mac pie devrait s'appeler Mac Dry. Je suis tellement déçue. Et pourtant je lisais les critiques et j'étais optimiste à l'idée de goûter votre nourriture. Vraiment deçue. En tant qu'haïtienne j'avais beaucoup d'espoir pour votre cuisine.

I should have tried the jerk as it is a Jamaican specialty. İnstead I ordered patties and seasoning could have been more prominent.

This restaurant has been sitting in my list for a while and finally got the chance to try it. First of all, the flavours are definitely on fire. Meat is well-seasoned and cooked tenderly. Service is fast and friendly. The only drawback is that they don’t have much place to dine in. Maybe 8 persons at max. And also it was quite hot

I left incapacitated yet again. The entire meal was a tour de force. Perfect bite after perfect bite with the oxtail platter. Cleansed my palate with the coconut slaw. Blessed be this food and the hands who made it inshallah

The chicken is good for sure, but the rice was cold and not fresh the plate was messy. The owner is probably going to contest this review as he did for the other ones

Delicious jerk chicken that is always tender and full of flavour. Everything they do is done well and not rushed. The family meal is very worth the price - it comes with so much food!

Nous avons été très déçus, premièrement, nous avons trouvé un cheveu long dans le riz, il manquait un plat en plus. J'ai rappelé, on m'a offert de venir en recherché un. Pour ne pas manger seule, mes collègues ont partagé leurs lunchs et j'ai décidé de prendre un crédit à la place pour profiter de mon heure de diner. Lorsque j'ai rappelé pour leur dire, on m'a accusé de mentir malgré les 8 personnes qui ont déballé avec moi la commande. J'ai perdu 16 $ et mon temps, mais eux ont perdu 8 clients en une transaction.

We liked their jerk chicken and stewed peas. Their portions were good and very tasty.

We weren't happy with the macaroni pie portions for how much it costs, and the plantains tasted like they were fried the day before. Overall it was an okay meal.

Ordered delivery. Rice was clearly over cooked. Jerk chicken had none of the flavours I expected and the chicken itself tasted old. Wasted my money and time.

The jerk chicken and patties were ok, but nothing really reminded me of Jamaican food. As someone with a Caribbean background, this food was not authentic and I feel like it is made to cater to the non-Caribbean locals. Jerk chicken should be a combination of spicy and slightly sweet, I did not taste either. The rice was mushy and I'm honestly not sure if it was meant to be rice and peas, but it lacked flavour and had maybe 2 kidney beans in the portion I was given. I acknowledge, however, that my expectations would be higher than most people reviewing, because I grew up with this food.

Thanks so much for your reply. Please note, Jamaica is located in the Caribbean. Therefore, Jamaican food is Caribbean food.

Do not waste your money here. You'd be better off buying ticket to Jamaica to taste actually jamican food. Any fellow Caribbean person would be ashamed of this poor excuse of a restaurant.

Got the festin. Split it with 5 people and still had leftovers to take home. Amazingly flavorful hearty food

Great spot for Jamaica food while in the hood. Huge portions for what you pay. I always split the meal in two.
