Fantastic tour. I highly recommend this tour for multiple reasons. First the tour guide, David, was very friendly and very knowledgeable.
Second, the history of Old Montreal was very interesting. There is a lot of history that you would not get on a regular tour.
Third, every place we went to was very good and there was a reason behind going to that specific food place.

This guys are amazing! Sandy was our tour guide, and she was so knowledgeable, professional and went above and beyond with the group questions. All the food stops were incredible and my favorite was the bagel and gnocchi. No surprise this guys are 5 stars

One of the best and most fun activity that we did during our stay. Our guide, Laure, was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. We loved the history, all the stops and food tastings. A great walk and in-depth exploration of a unique neighborhood.

Did the Mile End Food tour and had a great time. Our guide, Fran, was lovely and enthusiastic about the food as well as the history of Montreal and Mile End neighbourhood. She had us all introduce ourselves at the beginning of the tour which was a nice touch. All the food was delicious. I appreciated the size of the portions. Not too small that you don't get a good taste, and not so big that you weren't able to finish the food at each stop. By the end I was pleasantly full. Make sure to let them know whether or not you have any dietary restrictions.

Be sure to ask your guide for recommendations for things to do/other places to eat. Our guide recommended the restaurant Saint Bock (on Rue St Denis) - went there the next day for their poutine and it was great.

Our tour guide, Louis was great, but the food was the least good part of the tour. There were no choices - you get what you get, whether you're going to like it or not. At the Rue Viateur bagel shop, for example, it was a sesame bagel with a slice of prepackaged Philadelphia cream cheese. You had to tear off pieces, but the cream cheese was too firm to dip into. They had flavored whipped cream cheeses which would have been easier and more interesting choices. While the sesame bagel was fine, I would have chosen a different flavor. And so it was with each stop. I left most of my food. Compare that to the fabulously curated Beyond the Market tour by Spade and Palacio, and it was no contest. The explanations and background from Louis were very enjoyable, though.
