10 of us visited Loft for a Bachelorette experience and it was absolutely perfect. The space was beautiful, the quality of services was incredible, the drinks were delicious! Cannot recommend Loft enough!

The space is inviting, the facial was amazing, and the specialist was soothing but also very knowledgeable. She took the time to get to know my skin, and talk me through the different steps of the treatment. I loved my experience and couldn’t recommend it enough! A nice little oasis in the Old Port.

I’ve been going to Loft since their initial opening and now at their beautiful new location. The service is always great and the staff and owner Susan are super nice. Highly recommend!

Best service ever!

I was in town for few days during Christmas and need a tiny touch up for a broken nail. I walked in store and they helped me right away. Super friendly and will recommend to who’s in Montreal!

Susan and the team were amazing! She even made us a dinner reservation. Under construction but didn’t stop the team.

My appointment was at 4pm and the aesthetician was rushed to finish my nails. The staff was closing up the salon’s during the appointment which made it stressful and rushed.

I don’t understand why the salon allows clients to book an appointment at 4pm if that’s when they start getting ready to close?

My manicure didn’t last more than a week. I wouldn’t recommend.

Nous avons commencé les célébrations pour le bachelorette de ma soeur au Loft Club Beauté. La communication et la prise de RDV pour les 12 a été facile et efficace par téléphone. Cependant, une fois arrivées au Loft, certains RDV ont dûs être modifiés et même un cancellé (une des filles avant choisit un gel Overlay, clairement indiqué sur leur site internet et confirmé par téléphone mais une fois arrivés sur place, elles nous ont dit que ce service n’est pas disponible.).

On m’avais dit qu’il y aurait 5 esthéticiennes pour les 12 filles mais nous n’avons été servies que par 3 esthéticiennes et une réceptionniste.

J’ai aussi dû prendre moi-même les commandes des filles pour les breuvages alcoolisés puisque les employées étaients occupées.

Autrement, les filles étaients satisfaites des résultats de mani et pedi. Cependant les prix étaient dispendieux.

Je ne recommande pas le Loft pour déservir un gros groupe mais j’y retournerais par moi-même ou avec une amie!

Gorgeous place! I went out with 4 of my girlfriends to celebrate my friend’s birthday. I booked a high tea package with Main, Pedi & a bul mask oxygenating facial session. The facial service was fantastic and the ambiance felt amazing. For the high tea the food is delicious (asked the staff and they said it’s French pastries) and the staff is very welcoming and professional.

Highly recommended place and a must visit beauty salon

Je suis allée plusieurs fois à cet endroit pour des manucures! Le service est impeccable. Le vernis gel reste pendant plus de deux semaines. Il y a un grand choix de couleurs et l'endroit est propre et calme!

Staff was pleasant and ambiance was nice but the service was a bit disappointing.

I got the “diva” pedicure which included a mask and exfoliation. I was talking to my friend so I don’t even remember the mask, but the exfoliation was underwhelming. The massage was also really not great, I barely felt anything at all!

The main issue is that the pedicure just wasn’t done very well. No base coat was used, the polish looks oddly streaky, the top coat wasn’t applied evenly, and after only 6 days it already seems to be chipping… My pedicures usually last 3-4 weeks so I’m not really pleased.

As I said, staff was friendly and it was quiet so it was relaxing, but I wouldn’t go back or recommend it.

Edit: After just over a week, my friend’s gel manicure is completely chipped. Extremely bad quality, I would not recommend coming here. Go to Club Phnx, Comptoir Beaute, or The Ten Spot instead.

I had a great experience at Loft! I was able to book a same day appointment and my technician was really sweet. I was thrilled with the service as well. 10/10!

I really wanted to become a regular customer there as it is so close to where I live.but it’s not worth the money at all. Bad customer experience and not a relaxing experience at all. I had to insist for one of my nails to be redone. I also had nail polish residue on my hand and I had to ask for it to be removed.like come on a 5 years old knows how to apply nail polish better than this. Geez. Do not recommend for a mani.

I went here a couple of weeks ago with my two sisters and my sister’s fiancé. We had booked our reservations online 2 weeks prior and they got in touch with us a few days before our appointment to confirm everything. Separately, I also booked an appointment for a gentleman mani for my sister’s fiancé.

On the phone, we were told that since we were 3, my two sisters, who are doing mani + pedi, would be served at 3 PM and myself, only doing a mani, at 3: 45 PM. We agreed with this set-up and we were told they would take note of it.

On the day of our appointment, I let my sisters go in first while we looked for a parking spot. When I got in at 3: 10 PM, I found out one of my sisters would only be given a mani. We were also surprised to hear my sister’s fiancé’s booking was not registered in the system. I understand that system errors can occur, and that was alright. However, I was told by the receptionist that they could have still served him but since I came “late”, they could not do anything.

I found this strange since we were told on the phone that my appointment would only start at 3: 45 PM, yet I was treated as though I showed up irresponsibly late for my appointment. Despite this, I didn’t make a big fuzz anymore since my sister’s wedding was the next day and we didn’t want to stress over any other tiny details. I agreed with the set-up and sat down with my manicurist, who did her best to finish my nails early so she can serve my sister’s fiancé next. I wasn’t able to get her name, but she was probably the only good thing in this whole experience.

I found that not all clients were treated in the same welcoming way. The manicurists were happily conversing with the other clients, whereas we were given the silent treatment all throughout.

They had a nice selection of colors and we all came out pretty content with the results. However, only 2 days after our appointment, our nails began chipping and there was an evident discoloration (beige color turning gray-ish). We weren’t certain if this was due to a chemical reaction involving the top coat / cuticle oil, but it was surely unpleasant. By the end of the first week, most of the color had chipped off and I was on vacation, so I was certainly not doing any strenuous work that would have sped that process up any more than it should have.

I came to this place because of a recommendation from a few girlfriends of mine, and I am disappointed that this was our customer service / manicure quality experience. We won’t be coming back again unfortunately.

Not really happy with the price I paid for the job I had done on it. I am only 4 days after and I see a space between my nails and the color I requested. It won't last as long as other salons I've been too and it was more expansive. I've been to the Manoir in the past and my nails stayed perfect for more than a month while practicing heavy sports. In the past 4 days I've done absolutely nothing and it shows wear. I am disappointed. Also the girls told us we couldn't get fade and they couldn't speak french either. For 65$ I could have had the full extra art treatment with my normal nail girl with nails that would have lasted.

Staff was so nice and pleasant. My friend and I had a manicure and pedicure done followed by a brunch. Definitely the place to go with your best friend or daughter or just by yourself. Had a great time! Clean and welcoming!

Not bad, not perfect. Prices ok. Hygiene practices good, but I walked away with a couple bloody cuticles.

Charming shop, trendy decor and delicious beverages are offered as complementary to your esthetic services. A little on the pricier side but it must be due to the neighborhood.

I got a deep facial cleansing by Nanou. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and was delighted with her service. She rejuvenated my skin and even provided me tips on how to maintain it properly.

I highly recommend people to seek her service. You will not regret it.

Très déçue et insatisfaite de ce salon. L’ambiance était très mauvaise personne ne se parlait, c’était très froid. Les employés sont professionnelles mais pas agréables. Je suis venue pour du vernis en gel noir, la personne qui s’occupait de moi m’a dit que c’était ok, nous avons commencé la manucure et finalement elle m’a dit que ça allait être trop clair et qu’ils n’avaient plus de noir foncé. J’ai du trouver une couleur qui s’en rapprochait le plus (violet foncé) mais forcément je n’ai pas eu le résultat souhaité. De plus mes ongles sont très mal limés ce n’est pas uniforme sur tous les ongles. Et pour finir le gel commence déjà à se décoller à J+3. J’aurai pu être une cliente fidèle et en parler autour de moi si j’avais été satisfaite mais je ne recommande vraiment pas ce salon. Première et dernière fois!

I loved this place the first time I came for a simple pedicure. But I recently went for a manucure (gel overlay) and it was unfortunately the worst looking manucure I ever had. It was bulky, uneven, not appealing at all. I had to get them done somewhere else the next day.

I love how beautiful this place is, but unfortunately, paying 70$ for a manucure done by someone with little experience is a deal breaker for me.

Experience tres moyenne. L’endroit manque de style, les installations sont vraiment de base, lire vraiment moins bien que dans les salons tenus pas les asiatiques et les vrais salons, et le service précipité. Ils n’ont pas mis du vernis sur la surface complète de l’ongle; résultat j’ai du ré appliquer le mien après 3 jours.ils ont trop lime les ongles et donc fendu la peau de celle qui était avec moi. Ne dépensez pas votre argent pour une manicure ça ne vaut clairement pas le coup et pour les pédicures allez la ou vous aurez une vraie expérience; chaise avec massage, un vrai bassin d’eau pour relaxer pleinement plutôt que de l’ameublement Ikea et un bassin d’eau que les employés remplissent et déplacent (really?). Ça m’a donné l’impression que le/la propriétaire était très cheap et voulait augmenter sa marge de profit.

Whoever gave them 5 stars has never been elsewhere. All the pictures were taken 5 minutes after the service. All and all, very bad experience - the lady who did my nails filed them too short and she cut me with the nail file (which really hurt) - see picture 1.

My sister was with me and and both of us found that they were not putting enough nail polish: I asked the employee if she could put more and she said that she preferred not too since it was my skin and not my nail: I get my nails done very often and I’ve never had so little nail polish and such a large gap between the skin and the nail polish (see picture 2). That’s not skin, that definitely the nail.

Also, I had black nail polish before the service and they did not remove it properly as you can see from the third picture.

I don’t understand how this place can get 5 stars- the service was poor and we really felt like the employees wanted us to leave. If you cannot offer proper service, just tell the clients that it’s too late and that the salon is closing soon - do not accept them and then botch the service.

The staff was super friendly and patient. They pay a lot attention to details when doing the nails. The place looked so cute and clean. I would definitely come back to try their high tea package with mani and pedi.

I brought my sister to Loft Nail Bar to have her nails done during her bachelorette weekend. The staff treated her so lovely and, as someone who regularly has her nails done, she was very impressed by the quality of the gel manicure she received. The space was beautifully decorated.

Very trendy and well located nails salon in old Montreal, professional and efficient staff thanks to Ashley & Jasmine. They use good quality products for nails as well as for facials and wax. You will get welcomed with smile and a warm cup of tea or coffee! Highly recommended.

I must say that as a man I didn’t expect to be pampered the way the team at this spa did. They really want to do a great job and give great service to their clients which they do. I had my nails done there with my wife and as a man doing his nail black for the first time, the experience was a pleasurable one. We at @CyclerunFitness love this nail bar!

The staffs are attentive from the manicure to the high tea service. The interior decorations are very aesthetic and good for taking nice pictures with friends! We celebrated my friend’s bday here and the pastries are pretty good. I spent around $90 (shellac removal + shellac manicure + high tea) I’d totally recommend it if you wanna bring your family or friends here to have a pamper time but if you just wanna do a quick nail service then other places will be cheaper.

I organized a surprise birthday get-together at Loft. We were a group of 8 ladies and had the Duchesse package - manis and tea. Great experience. Nail technicians were friendly, professional. The tea was a fun ending to the get together.plenty of food for everyone. It’s a very pretty space. Susan was great to deal with and super efficient. Highly recommend.

My new go to salon. The staff are super kind and professional. The facilities are clean and they did a beautiful job on my nails.

For the money that I paid, I feel like the service I recieved was subpar. What I'm guessing is that the high prices are based on the cute salon and nice location and that's it. The girl who gave me my treatment wasn't rude, but didn't attempt any conversation during my nails and much rather preferred to laugh with her coworker, which came off as a bit cold to me. That's fine, I don't expect to be treated like a princess despite your cute salon. I was offered complimentary tea, which was nice.

What did irk me however, is that when it was time to leave I had to struggle with my jacket for 5 minutes at the door, trying to not ruin my still-sticky nails, and despite me being the only customer in the salon, nobody offered to help me.
In the end, I left the salon with 2 ruined, scraped nails, and paid $50+ for it. I was visibly upset and VERY frustrated, but the girl who took care of me seemed like she just wanted me gone so I left it at that.
I wouldn't suggest anybody coming here unless they bring a friend to offset the "meh" service.

I found that the price that you are paying just for the location. You can find cheaper places and get the same service or even a better service.

Susan went out of her way to accommodate us for a last minute appointment on my daughter's birthday. We had a fantastic experience! The decor is beautiful, the ambiance was comfortable and cosy, the high tea was lovely, and our estheticians made us feel right at home. We will be back for sure! ”

Wow after seeing how this business owner handles her business I would never ever support this company. This place may look “cute” but they don’t have the talent nor respect that matches. Seriously spend your money elsewhere.

Very cute little nail salon! Excellent location in Old Montreal, it has a lovely decor and energy, as well as friendly staff. I was greeted nicely and got sat right away.
My nail tech was friendly and for a regular pedicure, the job was done well. I would have liked for her not to have been too soft, didn't cut my cuticles enough or fix my ingrow nail due to it ''regrowing again. '' I like my nails cut very short, which is what I asked but it wasn't done perfectly.
I would probably go back but will ask for another nail tech:)

My overall experience was good but there were some service interactions that I want to mention to save another client from this type of experience. When we arrived we were greeted by a lady who I realized later is the owner- friendly and welcoming. We had booked in for manicures but my mother asked if there was room for her to get a lip wax as well. We were told that would be no problem and it was verbally slotted in for after our manicures. After our nails, we went to the Manager (at least a person who introduced herself as the manager) who was at the desk to see who would be doing the wax and she bluntly stated that there wasn't time for that. We mentioned that the other lady already said yes and there was no apology just a blank stare "well.no. We can't". I'm sorry but if there was a mistake made, there could be one, a bit more of an apology and two, a better explanation than that. She proceeded to then ask the waxer who was walking by, "how long does a lip wax take? " "Oh, two seconds, come on in". I think it is in the best interest to see what your possibilities are before turning us away from the service simply for you making money as a salon and having clients leave happy. I was also refused one nail of simple nail art (literally an abstract black line over nude polish on one nail on each hand) because there wasn't "time". I understand that appointments are appointments and there is a schedule to follow but I was so turned off by the way she handled both situations with a
her unapologetic hard no's and clear disinterest in working on a solution. Otherwise the nail artists and wax tech were fantastic and friendly. Also a fun note that after the manicurist finished my nails she looked to have ample time between appointments chatting with the other nail techs.

I booked La Duchesse High Tea for me and my three friends and we couldn't have been happier! This was our first experience at Loft Bar à Ongles and I will definitely be coming back. We were all very satisfied with our manicures and pedicures and the tea service was generous and delicious. Thank you!

Très belle expérience! Ça a son prix mais l’ambiance est relaxante et zen. Elles prennent le temps de faire un travail soigné. Le bac à l’ancienne pour la pédicure est agréable.
