It’s completely disappointing because I called in advance that I will be arriving late and I expect the room to be clean and ready but it’s dusty and curtains are falling apart. White curtains appears to be grey already because of dust and obviously it was never changed. Make sure to take pictures because they will charge you with everything and unlike other hotel you have to request 24hours prior for the room to be cleaned. I called prior to arrival but and they expect that we will arrive today but still they did not clean the room.

Very bad management, charged our client for a 4-night stay instead of the 2 nights she was actually there and originally had booked (And she has proof she only stayed there 2 nights based on check in and check out dates). Refused to resolve the situation and is blaming her, completely embarrassing customer service, do not stay here as they seem to be okay with committing FRAUD!
ON TOP OF IT THE OWNERS REPLY IS ALSO A LIE, I SPOKE TO HER AND THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WHAT HAPPENED. HER CREDIT CARD WAS GIVEN FOR INCIDENTALS ONLY AND YOUR STAFF LIED TO HER AND CONFIRMED SHE WOULD NOT BE CHARGED, HER RESERVATION WAS FOR 2 NIGHTS ONLY AND SHE CONFIRMED THAT AT CHECK IN, SHE HAS PROOF OF HER FLIGHTS SO NO, SHE DID NOT "DECIDE' TO LEAVE EARLY. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS, AND THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED FOR HER BASED ON HER CHECK OUT DATE/FLIGHT. NOT SATISFYING YOUR CUSTOMER SHOWS BAD FAITH ON YOUR PART SO YES THIS REVIEW AND MY WORDS ARE ACCURATE.

This is the first negative review I've ever done but after months of trying to get them to return our deposit I feel this is required to protect other guests. The stay in early July was fine (big rooms, not the cleanest) - but they do run a scam of taking $300 deposit and not reimbursing the client after the stay even if the bill was fully paid (in our case through airbnb). They avoid any follow-ups and do not answer phone calls and email enquiries. Be very very wary of this establishment. Many who have stayed here might not have noticed that their deposits were not returned.

We should have trusted the negative reviews. We booked a room with two beds via Expedia and were placed in a room with one bed. The front desk then told us there was only one other room available with two beds, which we moved to. The heater in that room was on full blast and the hotel could not turn it off or control it, so we spent both nights sweating on top of the sheets. Even though we told the hotel there was no hand or body soap we never received any- just shampoo and conditioner for the entire stay. When we got back to the room the second night our keys didn't work, the room hadn't been cleaned, and there were no clean towels. Over the phone, the manager told us we would be credited back some portion of the cost for the inconvenience but over a week later we have not been able to get in contact with the manager or received any refund. When checking out, there was another guest pressing the front desk to give him money that he was promised due to issues during his stay. Do not stay at this hotel.

Don't call it hotel anymore! Remove the high ratings from booking portals.
Was there for many years. After COVID no breakfast and no room cleaning any more. Even with 7 nights stay! Had to beg for toilet paper and shampoo at the reception.
But price is still like hotel and not cheap.
Sorry.a complete disappointment.
And have a look out of the window on the roof.caring about your place is something different than this rubbish all over. And don't look at the window.also in a very bad condition, window glass was missing etc.

The concierge was incredibly nice but the suite had a weird smell (maybe someone was cooking onions?), the sheets were dirty before we laid down and there was no soap in the entire suite! Was ultimately disappointed. Also one of the hallway lights was flickering and it was hard to walk down the stairs.

Worst experience.
They won’t fix the broken TV,
there was washer on the amenity list, but it wasn’t in the room.
And they’re not giving back the deposit though it has passed two weeks after check out

Horrible establishment. I wish there was a 0 star button. I’ll keep this short and sweet. We booked this hotel for Osheaga weekend in Montreal. The hotel emailed not once, but TWICE to confirm our stay prior to arriving. Upon arrival check in was smooth and we were handed room keys to room 504. We entered “our” room to be shocked that someone else was IN THE ROOM with their belongings. Went to the front desk immediately and the man names Yves who was working, showed us his screen that we were in fact booked for that room. The hotel refused to remove the other guests who did not pay or book our room. They refused to give me contact to a manager. We were left high and dry and had to book another hotel at 11pm at night. 0 apology offered by front desk, 0 compensation or refund was offered. I will be following up this week and demanding our money back as we pod $1840 for 4 night stay, that someone else enjoyed.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Me and my friends planned a one night stay at Loft Hotel through Airbnb. On July 9th, we checked in around 3pm. We were greeted with the receptionist at the front desk and a $300 security deposit was put down. When we walked in, we noticed that the blinds and the lamps were already broken and the couch was in bad shape. As soon as our stay ended, we expected to have been refunded the money after we checked out. To our unfortunate surprise, we still have yet to receive the $300 back even after a month following our stay. We have been on the phone with the receptionist asking for a refund, but they keep telling us that they don’t know how to do a refund or when we ask for someone who is capable of doing so, they say that there is no one they could call for help since their manager isn’t there. We called the bank the card was charged on and they said that there was no refund coming through. We have been on the phone with the staff countless times and it seems as if they don’t know how to do anything as simple as redirecting the call to someone who is able to help. On top of everything, we were charged an additional $300 again (so $600 in total was lost). We immediately called the hotel as soon as we noticed this charge. We have no idea why this happened nor a good explanation was given. After talking for a bit, they said someone would call us the next morning at 7: 30am. As suspected, no one had called. We called twice around 10: 30am and no one answered. The staff are incapable of being helpful in any circumstances. It should not take this long to give a refund. This place is a scam. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I booked this hotel one month in advance of my stay at the end of July 2022. Upon arrival, the man at the front took very long to provide me with my keys and charged me a pre-authorization fee. When I went into the room, there was someone occupying the room. Their suitcase and clothes were everywhere. I was stunned and went back downstairs. The man at the front desk was completely incompetent and did not apologize even once. A few minutes later, another man comes up to the front desk and says his key isn’t working. He was occupying the room that I was supposed to stay in so gave him my new room key. The front desk man then told me they had no rooms left and to call one of my coworkers and stay with them. This hotel should NOT be in business. DO NOT STAY HERE. I had to leave this hotel at midnight and find somewhere else to stay last minute. The man at the front desk did nothing to help me and I am still fighting to get the pre-authorization charge back. This hotel is dirty and dangerous. The staff is completely incompetent and rude. They offered me nothing for my horrible experience. Do not stay here under any circumstances!

We stayed 3 times at this place. Its a best option for extra large rooms and work-vacation combination. Of course it's near everything we need in daily life and most destinations are easily accessible. Many staff, specially Yannick, knows us due to frequent visits. Room service and friendly staff makes it even easier life during stay.

NEVER STAY HERE. EVER. They are running a scam. My friends and I booked this hotel for ONE night in July. We paid the $300 deposit on a credit card and never received it. We have spent the past 4 full weeks on the phone with the staff who have said they don’t know what they are doing, they don’t have a manager, they don’t have a supervisor and to call back another day. When we call back the next day we get the same spiels OR they refuse to speak to us. Now, an ADDITIONAL $300 has been charged. For no reason. A month later. And they still say they can’t do anything. In total this hotel has taken $600 from us unwarranted, on top of what we’ve paid and they still refuse to help or give it back. This hotel is a fraud they are running a scam and I’ve seen many other reviews saying something similar so be very warned. Do not stay here.

Me and my friends stayed here for one night for a friends birthday weekend. When we arrived we were asked to give a 300$ deposit and once we leave it would be refunded which is normal. When we left we made the beds and cleaned up and expected the refund after a couple days. It’s been weeks and still we have not received a refund. When we went back to get the refund manually they charged another 300$. They refuse to give any manager information, refund or compensation. I do not recommend staying here. It’s a nice area to stay in but this hotel is a 0/10 and wouldn’t recommend going. Staff is unhelpful and don’t know what they are doing and no manager has come to talk with us.

This property is not maintained. We checked in to find water dripping from the ceiling on the floor and bed and the hotel did not do anything to correct that or stop the damage. This is business as usual. Room 612. Other rooms were double booked. At least 2 other couples found themselves without a room. Horrible place. Nothing like in pictures. We had to find different hotel last minute and pay hundreds of dollars more. Very disappointing.

There were a couple technical issues with the room (things broken, dead lightbulbs, etc.), but that paled in comparison to the gorgeous rooms, the adorable street and the incredible location! Along the incredible Latin quarter, a stone's throw away from old Montreal, it was a vibrant and exciting location with a quiet and spacious retreat. I was very happy with my stay!

Quand je suis rentrée dans le loft, il y avait du plâtre du plafond par terre. En rentrant dans la salle de bain, j'ai tout de suite sentie une odeur de cigarette. Les rideaux et les lits étaient sales. La télévision n'avait aucun poste. On paie pour des frais de ménage, mais il faut faire la vaisselle sinon il faut payer extra. La réceptionniste est venue nous avertir et nous a dit que la prochaine fois, elle garderait le dépôt. Il n'y a pas eu de prochaine fois, mais elle a quand même gardé le dépôt. Sauvez votre argent et n'allez pas dans cet endroit sale avec une réceptionniste qui ne fait pas ce qu'elle vous dit. Update: Ils ont relâché le dépôt pour le reprendre après. Hôtel ou affaires frauduleuses? N'allez définitivement pas là. Ils vont prendre votre argent pour une chambre sale et un service à la clientèle pourri.

This is a hotel I stayed at a few times in the past few years and loved.but unfortunitly now they started doing airbnb in the hotel and staff are not well trained.walked out for a smoke and walked right back in.instead of buzzing me in the front desk walked to the door asking for my suit number. I told him my room number and he said he did not understand so I repeated it to him but he was aggressive and grabbed me as I continued to walk.while it's mandatory to wear a mask in all work places he proceeded to be rude to me with no mask on. I asked for him to write down his name for me so I can tell the manager what happend.he proceeded to tell me the front desk has no paper or a pen and when he found it he tossed the pen and tissue he found and told me to write his name.he refused to write his name and said was being very aggressive.if you are looking for a good hotel, this is not your spot.rooms are dark and has not been upkeep.things are old and not clean.

The staff laughed in my face when I asked back for my deposit Went back for my 150 deposit and the won’t give it back first they said it’ll be directly deposit and it wasn’t then they said come in with a card they won’t give it to me without a receipt now terrible stay they had my money for over almost a week now

Bruyant sert de lieu de fête.et les canalisations font du bruit constament
Le chauffage fonctionne avec des radiateurs d'appoints et les fenêtres ferment mal ce qui est gênant avec -20 degrés a l extérieur

2 nuits dans un grand appartement sympa et très spacieux. Parking pour la voiture.
A améliorer: le petit-déjeuner qui n'est pas à la hauteur de la prestation.

This place was an awesome stay! No fancy bars downstairs, over-posh add-ons, just a huge apartment space thats well presented and clean. Great location for getting out and about as well. This is a hidden gem!

So beautiful, reasonably priced, great staff! We didn't sleep well because it was loud and no way of controlling the temperature properly but they were accommodating in adjusting the price in lieu.

Different, cool and spacious. Awesome room with stylish furniture and huge comfortable bed. Shower could use lots more pressure. Room too warm.couldn’t get AC to work properly. Friendly staff, super clean facilities.

Rooms comfortable, spacious and clean and tidy housekeeping. The staff were great and VioPaine at reception was the most delightful, helpful staff member. She made sure we were looked after at all times and her warm friendly greeting made our stay that much more enjoyable.
