The perfect Paper Plane. Small menu but high quality options and the bartenders can easily make any classic cocktail. Gets busy on weekends so reservation is recommended

Exterior of restaurant is beautiful then you get inside and the walls are concrete which makes for a cold atmosphere. The food and drinks were not memorable but the noise was. It was hard to speak to people and the service was not great. It might be a good place to go on a date and sit at the bar.

Wouldn’t come back for anything than the ambiance and the wine. The food has nothing spectacular and if you don’t drink wine the drinks menu is very limited.

A delightful wine bar. Great ambiance, extensive wine selection, and wonderful service. Would definitely come back.

Mise-à-jour: après être retourné à deux reprises suite à la soirée malheureuse décrite plus bas, il m'a été permis de constater que l'unilinguisme anglais observé il y a quelques mois a fait place à un environnement très bilingue, où le français est le bienvenu. Je n'ai aucune idée si mon commentaire y est pour quoi que ce soit, mais c'est tout à l'honneur de la direction du Loïc d'avoir fait les changements qui s'imposaient. Longue vie à cet établissement!

I sincerely want to love Loïc. This establishment has rejuvenated a beautiful building in a central part of our neighbourhood (the old Molson Bank!), struggled through the pandemic and still offers a great drink and food menu. Those are all factors that make me want to go back and say only good things about Loïc. I used to be a bit of an ambassador for these folks.
In a neighbourhood that's predominantly French-speaking - 61% based on the numbers from the last census! - why is Loïc incapable of hiring people who speak at least a modicum of French? Not only we are greeted strictly in English at the door, but we also get assigned a server that doesn't speak a word of French. I'm not asking a lot here: 20 basic words in French is probably what it takes to make me feel respected, and I'll happily switch to English if anything sounds too complicated. Anyone would agree that this is pretty reasonable in a city like Montreal.
To be clear: I'm not blaming the staff. They were the ones who were hired while missing a key qualification, without being provided proper training. This is 100% a management problem. Loïc's owners should recognize that their hiring practices are lacking and disrespectful for its customer base, even though most francophones will rarely complain about this. Management should consider addressing this problem while Loic is in 'reopening mode' and before the word starts spreading. Otherwise this fine establishment could become another failed restaurant like Venice, M2 and others.
In the meantime I will unfortunately need to spend my money elsewhere. I'm looking forward to reconsidering this decision (and this review), hopefully sooner than later.

Amazing atmosphere, food, music, but above all our servirse taking care of every detail for us. Thank you, Loic for an unforgettable evening!

Neighbood bar and Eatery. Only had a few cocktails for a short period of time.but the service was very good and attentive.

Malheureusement un autre endroit à Saint-Henri ou le service est exclusivement anglophone. Même de simples mots tels que 'Bière blonde' demeure incompris par l'équipe unilingue anglais. On ne demande qu'un minimum de compréhension pour pouvoir communiquer adéquatement, et un peu de volonté de la part de l'administration d'y remédier.

Great middle between chic & low-key. The food was good but not spectacular, their sichuan pepper cauliflower though, was amazing. I highly recommend. The only other down was the wine we got suggested, it wasn’t great and it’s a shame considering thats their specialty.
