Those fried oyster mushrooms were next-level delicious. We are not vegan but we greatly enjoyed our meals here.

I’ve been here three times in a few days while I stay in the city. All foods are so great and have cute cozy vibes, perfect for a date with company or even solo date with yourself. I will definitely come back again and also do hope they open the location in Winnipeg, MB where I belong!

Une belle découverte pour les amateurs de cuisine végétarienne. Les plats étaient savoureux et bien préparés. L'atmosphère chaleureuse et l'attention du personnel ont vraiment rendu le repas agréable (mentionspécialepour notre serveur Arthur). Je recommande vivement!

If I could give 100 stars for service, I'd do so. I just left, after my second dinner there in less than 48 hours. And, I was tearing up. On Thursday-late-I was starving, and had to accommodate my weird gallbladder diet. I'd noticed Lola Rosa around the corner, and I'd already saved them during my pre-trip search. Rachel waited on me, and she was not only a simple delight, but she checked on things without hesitation and came back with kitchen-offered alternatives! I had Eggplant Bharta and the Rosa salad. So. Unbelievably. Delicious. And filling. The glass of scrummy orange wine didn't hurt. So, tonight, I tried to push myself to venture further afield. But, I was intrigued by the idea of the vegan burger, and kind of NEEDED something substantial. No Rachel, but Esme was also incredibly attentive, concerned, helpfully wary and OFFERED to keep the fries away from me. My belly is happy. But, more importantly, my soul is beyond rejuvenated by these folks. They are so simply, innately warm and kind and welcoming. They certainly present to love what they do. And, I don't think the ease with which they can gift their generosity of spirit can be faked. I cried because people don't necessarily know what's going on in a person's life. Natural, sincere, emotional embraces can go a long way. I've had a great few days in Montreal-the only misstep was the hotel-but Lola Rosa, man.my appreciation of how these folks are.well, it literally brought tears to my eyes.

A friend recommended we try it. The fries were soggy and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The wheat meat was generic and bland other than being over peppered. Took a long time to get seated despite having a reservation. Seating is cramped with people pushing through on either side and bumping you in the middle of a meal. Maybe we got the wrong stuff on the menu, but there are too many incredible vegan options in Mkntreal to feel like we need to go back here.

The best thing about this place is the stellar service.
The lasagna was meh though my husband liked it. I liked his Tunisian stew better - good balance of spicy and sweet.
The nachos were super good with creative toppings.
Key Lime pie was wonderful - more tangy and less sweet than the usual.

Dîner à 7. Tout le monde s’est régalé de l’entrée au dessert. Service chaleureux et rapide. Je recommande vivement!

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in town and the best I've ever been. The menu is simple and easy to understand for the non-vegetarian people. I ate the Canju Burger and I also tried the Lasagna and both were absolutely delicious. I recommende this place, is affordable, clean and has a good service. The desserts are also

Went there in October, absolutely never again.
1. No AC? I was sweating like a dog, had to take multiple breaks in bathroom upstairs to cool down and be able to breathe
2. Braised tofu is horrifyingly bad, just imagine Dougan (dried tofu) stirred fried with some sort of mexican seasoning and a throat punching amount of salt

With the audacity to charge 17$ for a dish of mediocrity, the least yall could do is install some AC

Great service, and great food! We got the “cheesesteak” sandwich and burger! The drink selection is great and my in-house made iced tea was really refreshing!

Food 4 stars, Service 4 stars, Ambience 5 stars. I ordered the quasidilla which was a great value as it came with rice and sald. We also ordered a lola cheesesteak sandwich with poutine and that was VERY GOOD. The Poutine was great, it was perfect with some mushrooms inside. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I stopped by here for dinner recently and was impressed by the service I received. The server was very friendly, proactive in asking about allergies, enthusiastic to provide food recommendations, offered me a table for 6 for just myself, and checked in on me regularly. For food, I got the Crispy Cauliflower and Tunisian Stew. The cauliflower was fresh, crispy, and crunchy. It had just the right amount for salt and pepper and the sauce added extra spice and flavour variation to the food. The Tunisian stew tasted healthy and good with the cinnamon, onion, and tomato.

I'm slowly discovering more of the vegan restaurants in Montreal, and this one has to be my favourite. The first time we visited we questioned why the "guac" was made from peas and not avocados, and the server explained it to us. We were still skeptical about pea guacamole but we were very quickly swayed - it was AMAZING.

So far I've tried their curry and tofu stir fry, both amazing and delicious.

GET THE NACHOS. TRUST ME. You won't regret it - you'll wish you had more.

Walk-ins are difficult so I recommend booking a table hours before.

Best Vegan restaurant in Montreal. Many dishes are inspired a little by indian food but with total western makeover so you don't feel like that you are just eating indian food in the name of vegan dishes. I have never seen such a beautiful fusion. They have put a lot of work in creating each and every single dish of the menu.
Staff is super sweet too.

Super resto, très sympa et bien situé dans le quartier des spectacles. Cuisine végane exquise. Très bons choix et plats goûteux et frais. Belle ambiance et présentation des mets. Service très courtois et professionnel.

Went here on a Saturday night. The place is extremely noisy. Mostly female, under 30 crowd. The food in general was great, service was good. Their veggie-burgers were tasty and a generous size with side fries and salad. My wife complained that her dish (tufu braise) was worse than something she would throw together from leftovers:) Overall, worth it, just be aware of the above.

Best vegan nachoes I have ever had! Get them in your life now! Also the sangria's are fantastic. The service was great even when it was super busy and we were super drunk. This place is great. Affordable too if you order the right stuff. I will be coming back!

This location of Lola Rosa was our first introduction to the vegan scene in Montreal, and boy was it a good introduction. EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing, especially the vegan poutine, which has a bit of a curry flavor and is made with the tiniest button mushrooms. I ordered the hemp burger with poutine fries on the side, and it was the most perfect, satisfying meal ever. I really felt like I was getting the true Montreal experience! It was so good, that my husband and I even went back the next night - but we were smart the second time and made reservations online! PS try the cauliflower!

Great to see a vegetarian option downtown for when you have a show at Place des Arts or you are enjoying the festivities of the summer festivals.

I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but I'll say this. They have the best tomatoe soup I have ever had. Chill atmosphere, but parking in the area is tough.

Great location and excellent service. Yet, everyone is cramped together in a tight space like sardine. Food was good but not great. The soup of the day felt extremely lacking and the Burrito was almost tasteless. Overall, it's an OKAY restaurant.

Chickpea fries delicious! Lasagna is great and the salad going with it is nicely balanced. Very satisfying for anyone, vegan or not

Good food. But not recommended for celiacs despite it saying "gluten free" there's definitely cross-contamination happening. Otherwise, delicious food and great service!

Great place, after trying out the one on Milton St, I decided to see if this place was as good. Turns out, it was even better! I can not believe the amazing service I’ve had at both restaurants. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are plentiful. I don’t usually eat vegetarian food, but I try to come here as often as I can. Their food is to die for!

Pretty darn good veg fare, good cocktails and mocktails! Service was a tad slow, but the friendly staff made up for it. Plus the tables have drawers that open and travellers have left notes. Endearing!

Lots of choices and selections. The staff is very friendly. Have visited a few times now and the food is always great. Good selection of craft beers available as well.

I saw many reviews about the hamburgers in this place but there is nothing special about them. No texture, special ingredient or taste to make the meal a memorable experience as we usually see in vegetarian restaurants. They come with fries and salad. Pretty blend. Service was not terrible but not good either. I would say the place is overrated for what it delivers.

Je désirais une salade de chèvre et elle n’était pas dispo. A la place on me propose pour le même prix une salade asperge, fraise et fêta (13$). Il n’y avait rien dans l’assiette. Beaucoup d’épinard et 3-4 fraises et 2-3 asperges plus une poignée de noix de Grenoble.pas de fromage. Fallait payer 3$ d’extra.très déçue. J’ai fais un commentaire qu’il y avait pas grand chose dans l’assiette et on m’a répondu que ça coûte cher des fraises, des asperge et des noix de Grenobles.insultant.

Had a nice time at this newer location of Lola Rosa. Super convenient right next to Place des Arts and we were lucky enough to sit outside on their seasonal terrasse. The servers were very friendly even though it’s so busy right now during festival season. Food took a little while to come out but again, to be expected this time of year. Everything was very hot though which was great. I like that the menu is slightly different than the original Lola. The space inside is also really nice with what seems to be a big top floor that could probably be rented for private events.

Accueil super sympa, cuisine fine et vraiment excellente. Des plats originaux frais et joliment présentés. Une halte un peu au hasard qui s'est avérée une excellente découverte. C'était vraiment top! Vivement que vous vous implantiez en France!

Cool and affordable downtown spot for delicious vegan and vegetarian food. Drinks were delicious, and they have really good service. Not the most intimate but the decor is quite nice. Prices are honest for the quality.

I recently went for dinner at Lola Rosa for the first time and I can’t wait to come back.
I was quite impressed with the place (very clean and comfy, well-located and easy to access) and the staff, which was super friendly.
We ordered a cajun burger (in the photo) and a spinach lasagna and they were both delicious. Food was well seasoned and tasted great. I am looking forward to trying the other dishes.
Prices are reasonable for the quality and size.
I’d definitely recommend to anyone.

Trick your angry carnivore friends to try the hemp burger and laugh at them when they cannot tell the difference. Very tasty unpretentious food regardless if your gastro-orientation.

Love the ambiance and all the vegetarian and vegan option definately coming back and the staff are great too and nice view to the quartier des spectacle and the portion are generous I could ask for more this is a great place to eat
