One of my favourite places in Montreal for vegan food! The food is consistently good and the service is always friendly.

This place is 100% vegan and 100% great. We made a reservation, highly recommend to do so, and we had high expectations and they were definitely met I'm vegan and my partner isn't. She loved all the food there and didn't miss meat at all. We decided to share 3 plates and it was the better choice because we got to try several things. She really loves the crustini, it was rich and filling. My favorite was the fish tacos. Inside is really nice and fresh looking. The service was great and we didn't have to wait long for our server to check back in on us and get us drinks or what ever we needed right away. I suggest you try it for sure.

Beautifully decorated place. However l have had better when it comes to vegan burger and did not like the truffle fries that much, small portion and weird texture. I did not really taste the cheese in the lov cheeseburger, and the vegan patty had a strange dry texture. So-so service.

The 2 bowls were super good and the chocolate pear tasted like a Ferrero rocher! Miam maximum!

The food was incredible, and the service was fantastic. Love to support vegan restaurants, especially when they show that vegan food is just as good as (or better!) than non-vegan food! Highly recommend their brunch.

Heard about this place from the show ‘worth it’ and absolutely loved the food. We ordered the salted ricotta and dumplings to start and the mushroom burger with kimchi fries. The service was quick and efficient but do ensure you make a reservation as they were super packed.

Food is good, but the service was not great. It was a busy Friday night so I will not criticize too much, but my order was incorrect and we were not served dessert for a long time. Perhaps better another time.

Gnocchi and Brussel sprouts were absolutely incredible! I could not tell it was gluten free so that was quite the treat. Beautifully decorated

We were just looking for a restaurant on the way back to the hotel, and wanted something less expensive (we had fine dining restaurants 2 nights in a row), and we found LOV. We were not intentionally looking for a vegan restaurant, but we are ok, so we decided to give it a try.

Turned out food was great, I couldn’t tell there was no meat in the lasagna, and the soup was tasty.

Healthy, tasty, and reasonably priced, not a bad place to go.

This was the best dining experience I've ever had. The food was amazing, the service was incredible, and the asthetic/atmosphere were lovely. My meal came with a salad, and usually I'm not a fan, but the dressing was so good, I actually wanted more of it. I really can't reccomend this place enough.

Food is below average. I ordered the tofu bowl which was pretty oily, while the gnocchi was simply not yummy. Ambience is nice though. The cranberry mocktail was ok.

Food was incredible. Service was quick IF you made a reservation. Very fancy fine dining. Food was very good and well plated. Small portions but it's expected in fine dining. All vegan was great. But very tight seating and very loud when busy. Otherwise great.

Lovely atmosphere, very accommodating despite last minute change in reservation, Mac and Cheese is delicious.

My my my! This is an incredible restaurant! The the gnocchi was the highlight of my night and my friends! It was so delicious, soft and flavourful! You will not be disappointed! As for the dumplings and the general tofu, they were amazing! For the price, you will be so full with the general tofu!

Je ne suis pas végane, mais le menu est assez élaboré pour que chacun y trouve son compte. Je n'ai pas été renversé par mon entrée de légumes grillés. Mais pour le repas, j'ai pris le burger aux pleurotes et j'ai bien aimé. Le dessert de brownie était divin et parfait pour partager. Le resto lui-même est super mignon.

The food was spectacular and the staff Was really polite. 4 stars because the food was cold by the time It came up to our tables and service was slow (we waited 10 minutes for aoli sauce to finish our fries). I would reckons their king fu burger with sweet potato fries if you are vegan and like tofu! I will come back to try other things on their menu.

Very good vegan restaurant. If you aren't vegan, go anyway. The food is that good. We had poutine, Mac & cheese, and gnocchi. Nice inside, tables are not too close. Friendly staff. You can use their WiFi to look at the menu on your phone.

This is my favourite vegan restaurant in Montreal. All the food is amazing but my favourite is the kimchi fries. They are a must have if you eat at this place. When I went here it was packed with people so its a loved place by many people.

As an omnivore I prefer my vegi/vegan food to be just that and not a pretend meat dish. LOV does this and serves some really tasty dishes with appealing presentation. Great dining.
The service was a little slow, and the prices are high. The restaurant also suffers from high levels of background noise from other diners and their BGM.

Delicious and with lots of gluten free options too. Will recommend for anyone else visiting Montreal like us.

Le service était très agréable et mon repas était très bon, mais après avoir fini mon entrée et mon plat j'avais toujours faim.

Ce restaurant se retrouve assurément dans le TOP 3 des pires burgers végétaliens. L'ambiance et le personnel est autant décevant que les plats. Le LOV devrait se baser sur Herbivores.

Clean modern upscale atmosphere and really fresh interesting vegan food. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. I tried the sushi for one. It was very very good. Well presented and excellent flavours. Highly recommend.

Wow nous sommes allez samedi 26 septembre et quelle découverte ️. La bière, la nourriture, le service excellent. Très succulent. Ce n'était pas la dernière fois. Bravo! Ne changez rien. Essayez c'est l'adopter.

Menu had really interesting options, staff was very attentive and the brownie dessert was rich and delicious. Loved it.

Super décore, mais j'ai été déçu par leur Mac and cheese.
Par contre leur burger sont délicieux. Leur service est agréable mais sans +. Certains cocktails sont place à amélioration.
En résumé bonne expérience mais assez coûteux.

Restaurant tout simplement magnifique, à l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur. Leur latte au lait d'avoine est tout simplement délicieux!

This place may have LOV in the title, but I didn't really Love it here. The food felt too expensive for what it was.

100% Vegan and 100% Delicious. Went there without reservation so there wasn't any room but within approximately 20 minutes all 5 of us were seated.

Outstanding. Everything from the drinks to the apps, and finally the mains are first class. Creative, delicious, vegan food. If trying a Vegan restaurant makes you nervous, this is a great place to start. You''l wonder what took you so long:)

Dear LOV Team - touche - I love how you market your restaurant and are working to change how people approach their dining experience at your restaurant - well done! It really is an amazing dining experience, no matter what sort of food is on your plate or drink is in your glass. I encourage anyone who wants a exceptional meal to eat here:)

Lov was a disappointment for me. I would give the food a 3/5 and in fact this was one of the first restaurants where I left quite a bit of food on my plates. One pro is the excellent service and fantastic ambiance could maybe pull my rating up to a 3.5. I get the impression that they don't put as much effort into the food as they should given that their tables are full, which I credit to location and Instagram chic decoration.

Why was the food a 3? I'll go through each dish and explain where they went wrong.

Arancini: The dish looked amazing but my gosh did it lack flavour. The crusted balls and cauliflower were dry and underseasoned. The sauce and garnishing around it lacked flavour and did little to save the dish. The vegan mozzarella was used so sparingly we weren't even sure where it was used in the dish, inside the balls perhaps. We each ate one and simply left the last one in the bowl.

Lov Nachos: There is nothing remotely special about these and the portion is massive for an entree. They're fine. But you could make the same, or better tasting vegan nachos at home with relative ease.

Mushroom Risotto: This was probably the best dish we ordered but again lacked flavour. The mushrooms were nice and added some earthy flavour to the dish but it lacked umami. Vegan butter, nutritional yeast, etc. Could have saved this dish. The mushrooms on top are also a bit dry for my taste. It seems like they were roasted withoit proper seasoning. Lov would do well to switch the garnish to sauteed mushrooms instead.

Lov Lasagna: Vegans don't have all that many opportunities to eat lasagna, so when they do it's a shame when you end up with a lasagna like this. It wasn't terrible but it was sweet where it should have had richness and a touch more salt, the edges were burnt, and not like you would like on a lasagna, and the vegan mozzarella on top was skimpy at best. A lasagna needs a relatively thick cheese layer on top in my opinion and on this they did not deliver at all. Maybe to cut costs? I sort of just sat there thinking about all the places they had cut corners, wishing for a lasagna that carried more oomph and was less akin to what I might pick up in a frozen section of a supermarket.
Side salad left no impression but we are maybe a third of it so there you go.

Caramel Cupcake: The frosting tasted like a very basic overly sweet royal icing. Not at all what I would expect from a cupcake that cost 5.50. I have made vegan buttercream, we have vegan butter available here in Montreal, it's as if they aren't even trying to step the vegan food game up. The cake itself had an odd texture. It wasn't moist, it just squished down in your mouth because it wasn't held together well as a cake should.

They could be an amazing restaurant but I won't be returning to Lov unfortunately. They need someone to step in and amp up all of their recipes because they have nailed service, decor, and ambiance.

Really gorgeous interior with exposed brick walls, hanging basket chairs, and beautiful plants. It was fancier than I expected though, and also super busy during lunch on a weekday. I ended up ordering something to go - the truffles and caviar dish, which is zucchini spaghetti, oyster mushrooms, parsley, tapioca caviar, and a creamy white sauce. It was really yummy, but I wish it'd had a source of protein, like veggie chicken.

Staff was super friendly and my wait time wasn't long for takeout. Apparently they're going to open a location in NYC shortly, which is exciting!

Wow! Les fans d'instagram, vous allez adoré. Nourriture excellente et relativement abordable. J'ai aimé mon expérience de manger dans les chaises berçante. Que dire du service avec des gens souriants et amicales. Ils donnent envie d'y retourner chaque jour.

Delicious Brunch! We've tried the Tartine Poire Panais (my favorite tartine in Montreal) and Tofu Benedictine, both delicious! The place is gorgeous, the coffee is delicious, good Camellia tea selection, we've also tried the Lov mimosa: awesome. Really friendly staff. One of my favorite brunch experience overall (vegan and regular).

Went here for Valentine's day. My food was good but my wife's food was okay. The server took it off our bill without us even asking for it to be removed. The service was good. Would definitely recommend but be sure to ask exactly what the dish is like before ordering.

Très bel endroit. Étant cœliaque, il n’y a eu aucun problème à m’accommoder surtout que le menu indique les plats ne comprenant pas de blé. J’ai seulement eu besoin de spécifier mon allergie pour être sûre que tout allait être ok. Le sevice, le décor et le goût savoureux des repas valent définitivement le détour. Il y a eu quelques petits hic, soit le fait de nous proposer de l’eau pétillante ou simple sans nous mentionner que l’eau gazeuse avant un supplément soit de 5$ pour une bouteille. De plus, nous avons trouver les desserts couteux pour la portion qui nous avait été servis. Sommes toute, j’y retournerais sans faute. Le service impeccable marque vraiment notre visite.

La restauration végane à con meilleur. Cet établissement est quasiment devenu ma cantine, tant j'apprécie une ambiance décontractée et conviviale, conjuguée à des plats délicieux, innovants et très santé.

Tasty food, and upscale. The portions were smaller and the presentation better than I've seen at other restaurants in the area. I went at lunch on a weekday, and it was very crowded. They take reservations!

My friend and I came to this restaurant due to the recommendations from friends and good reviews. While the decor was lovely, the service and the quality of the food was lacking. The starters (dumplings and soup) were average, nothing special. We ordered the Pho soup as a main which was not 'Pho' with maybe 4 pieces of tofu and lacking some vegetables on the menu - the waitress came back with some carrots without apologizing or giving us any other options. We didn't finish the main as it was tasteless, and the customer service could be improved greatly.

J’y suis aller avec une amie et nous deux nous trouvons que la nourriture manque de goût. J’ai pris la soupe Pho et si je n’avais pas ajouté de sriracha elle ne goûtais pratiquement rien. J’ai vraiment été désagréablement surprise de la nourriture car le concept, le décor, les employés sont vraiment parfaits.

Amazing food, super friendly staff, and sooooo many great options to choose from! A vegan/vegetarian’s dream! Dairy milk and eggs available for those of you who haven’t quite warmed up to vegan options yet (although I strongly recommend you try their vegan meals: they’re AMAZING!)

Extremely beautiful interior, great location near old Port, staff is professional and friendly. The food was good portions a little small I wasn't happy with the poutine was a bit salty. I will be back to try the rest of the menu. The wood drink is excellent.

Vegan/vegetarian restaurants can be hit or miss—this one is definitely a winner. Ambiance was great—the decor was really nice. Service was good, servers came by a few times to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The food was fantastic—I’ve tried the buffalo brussel sprouts, the LOV poutine, the kale mac’n cheese and beet soup (soup of the day) —I can honestly say everything was delicious. I’ll definitely return, I found a new favourite of mine.

Lot people and website recommended this restaurant so I went there to discover it. I have to admit that I am more meat oriented person so I don't know what to expect from a vegetarian brunch. But I was very impressed. Food is amazing. Decor is nice and the staffs are friendly and motivated.

Beautiful restaurant but the brunch was underwhelming. I ordered the Benedict with a poached egg and it was nothing spectacular. My friends ordered the "La Cabane" and it was super salty. Thankfully, the waiter was kind enough to replace their meal with something else (the waffles, which were good).

Overall, the decor is really nice, the waiters are friendly but for the price were paying I was expecting something much better. I spent $37 on brunch and it wasn't worth it.

I will go to LOV time and again until i am in Montréal and will recommend it to everyone - whether you are a vegetarian/ vegan or not, their food is amazing and so are their brunches. The unique desserts are worth a try, in the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.

Pour une rare fois. Un restaurant qui est à la hauteur de sa réputation. C'était très savoureux et le rapport qualité prix pour un resto centre-ville. Moins de 60$ pour entrée, alcool, plat principal et dessert! Le service impécable! Un must Végétarien/Végétalien.

Ambiance:
The decor and vibe you get in Lov makes you glad you found it. It is very well put together and has a cozy feel to it.

Beverages:
Ordered a macchiato and was not very pleased with the result, both taste and presentation wise. I would recommend spending some time nailing down the formula to get the authentic macchiato taste, with some sort of art working going on.

Food:
I ordered the apple Pancakes which I was pretty excited for from the description in the menu, and based on the price (one of the more price items on the menu), I was expecting a larger portion, however, they ended up being three very small and thin pancakes. A larger portion or a reduction in price point would be appropriate. As far as taste goes, it was quite good, especially the apple purée they put on top of it.

Service:
No real complaints as far as service goes, friendly, but nothing to write home about.

I arrived at Lov on a weekday night around 8 pm. The space is beautiful and tastefully decorated. I loved the light fixtures and the small touches of greenery sprinkled around the restaurant.

I ordered the truffles and caviar ($14) which is a zucchini pasta dish with oyster mushrooms, arugula and tapioca caviar in a cream sauce. I will preface this by saying I’m not a vegan, but I regularly eat plant based meals. Going into Lov I didn’t expect much. I find a lot of vegan restaurants that people rave about actually just serve mediocre food that vegans are able to enjoy, but in no way compete with the flavours offered in a non vegan restaurant. *Cough* Planta *Cough* I was wrong about Lov. I was pleasantly surprised upon taking my first bite. So delicious! I scarfed this down in 8 minutes flat. I only wished the portion was bigger.

The zucchini noodles were warm enough to satisfy my need for pasta to be served warm, yet still maintained a bite to them. I’m not a huge mushroom person, but the mushroom served on top was so tender, juicy and perfectly seared. The cool, jelly texture of the tapioca caviar worked well to balance out the warmth of the pasta. The light and savoury cream sauce pulled the entire dish together. Heaven in my mouth.

I finished off my meal with a berry best smoothie ($9) which was a let down. This was mostly orange juice. In fact if I closed eyes and sipped my smoothie, I could trick myself into believing all I was drinking was a thicker orange juice. I’d pass on this if you were considering as it is not worth the price tag.

My biggest complaint is the service. I get it. It’s busy, but my server acted too busy to even serve me. Every time I tried to flag him down and ask for something, he’d only listen for two seconds and start backing away to another customer. As an example, I asked him what do you recommend on the menu? He said everything and ran off to help another customer. I flagged him down again and asked for a recommendation on a smoothie. I ordered and I was about to ask for it to be packed in a take out cup, but he ran off before I was even done talking. I wanted to order a dessert, but trying to flag him down to get the dessert menu, then flag him down again to ask questions about the desserts, then finally order, would’ve been a whole ordeal. So I just gave up and left dessertless. It happened throughout the entire meal. It was annoying to say the least.

The thing that really soured my mood after such a great main? Trying to get my bill. Then trying to get the visa/ debit machine to pay for the bill. I had to ask for both things 3.times.each. Waiting for these two things took longer than being seated, ordering my food and finishing my meal. I was not impressed. I watched as the guy serving would nod his head that he heard my request and then go serve three other customers, clear tables, make drinks, take orders. I would ask again and he’d go off and serve three more customers and bring out more food and clear more dishes. 3 times I had to ask for the bill. 3 times I had to ask for the transaction machine. I was so frustrated. I was about ready to walk out. Finally, he told me he was waiting for me the whole time to take out my payment card. EXCUSE ME? You couldn’t tell me that every single time I asked you? How long does it take for me to pull a card out of my pocket vs.you serving 3 other people. I waited so long, I watched people come in, be seated, receive their orders. And I was STILL there waiting to pay. Ridiculous. (I typically pay by Apple Pay which is why I just sat there with my phone in hand waiting for the machine.) Although I was very frustrated, I was consistently polite to my server and still tipped with my payment which is why I was even more irritated when the moment the receipt printed out he placed the receipt on the table and rushed off to another customer. No thank you, no enjoy your evening, no nothing. Sad to see such enjoyable food come with such bad service.

Come for the food, not for the hospitality.

Vibe and food were both really good, except our waitress seemed pretty annoyed with us from the getko just because my friend asked a simple question and wanted to keep one menu on the table. So she rudely grabbed my menu out of my hands. Then acted nicer towards the end I'm guessing because she wanted a tip. (Hate when servers do this) Overall amazing place.

Découvert par les réseaux sociaux. Nous y sommes allés un vendredi pour 20h. Le resto était plein. Une chance qu'on avait réservé!

Accueil sympathique et rapide. Les tables sont très proches les unes aux autres, mais l'espace du restaurant n'est pas énorme non plus. Ambiance chaleureuse et très conviviale. On s'occupe de vous du début à la fin. Nous avons eu un excellent service avec une passionnée. Ça paraissait qu'elle adore ce qu'elle fait. Nous lui avons fait par de son excellent service.

Nous avons prit trois assiettes; Nachos LOV - 16$, oignons français - 8$ et Oh My avocado - 12$. Nous n'avons pas été capable de tout manger, les portion, surtout les nachos, étaient quand même assez copieux. On en a laissé dans tous les plats. Très bon par contre.

À la fin de notre repas, deux chaises suspendus se sont libèrées, nous sommes allé terminer notre vino bien relax. Très belle idée ces chaises.

Très belle ambiance, pas trop bruyant et tellement chaleureux. Même la gérante c'est occupée des clients pour voir si il passaient une belle soirée.

Même si on est pas végétarien, endroit à essayer absolument!

Amazing atmosphere, the decor itself is flawlessly executed. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and was friendly. The food came rather quickly and was delicious. We ordered the big LOV burger with onion rings as well as the vegan nachos both of which were super!
