M Montréal

Emplacement très correct, mais on ne se sent pas en sécurité dans les rues, le soir c'est pas très bien fréquenté. Ne restez pas seul, et ne vous garé pas devant, beaucoup de soucis.

We absolutely loved our stay here - this is the best hostel I have ever stayed at! The pods in the dorms are so perfect and the rooms were so clean. The kitchen was very large and clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for a great stay!

My girlfriend and I took our first trip to Montreal in the early fall and everything about our trip was perfect starting with the M Montreal Hotel/Hostel we stayed at.

I've never stayed in a hostel before so the experience was quite new. The lobby was clean and had a hip and artistic vibe to it.
Staff was friendy and spoke english so we were able to check in and check out with breeze.

The Hotel has 5 floors with the 4th being the top floor for guests. We had a King room which was beautiful although I wish I knew about the balconies beforehand, I would have requested a room with one.

The room was very clean and the Hotel had lots of amenities to take care of all of their guests including a cafeteria with food and access to coffeetea and an ice box to use for room drinking.
The room even had a nice kitchen area where guests can do their own cooking with an IGA and SAQ (liquor store) with minutes of a walk.

There were two jacuzzis on the top/5th floor with a rooftop terrace overlooking that part of the city.

The location was wonderful because it was in heart of The Village where there were lots of things to do around. Lots of places to eat that were filled with their own unique artistic touch.
It was also walking distance from the L'Olympia where we saw a show and also walking distance to Old Montreal, Old Port and Notre Dame.

Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay and would visit again.

The curtains, lighting, and lockers were all built into the bunks. The basement bar was a big plus as well. If you're planning to book specifically for the hot tub, I wouldn't. The water was lukewarm and it just isn't as fun as at a home rental. Otherwise, the rooftop is fantastic. Parking and unloading was easy.

This was my first time staying at a Hostel, and it was really solid. The six bed dorms are large, so the three bunk beds are spread out across a mini-hallway. There are lights, plugs, and an awesome blackout curtain in each of the bunks. I'm 6 feet tall and was juuust about to stretch my legs all the way so no complains there.

The staff were super amazing, and it's a 5 minute walk to the metro or bus stop. There's no soap or shampoo or anything provided and maybe bring flip flops, but it was super clean.

The area's a liiitle sketchy at night, but shouldn't be enough to deter anyone from staying here! Insane value for money.

Staying at the M Montreal was my first hostel experience. As a solo female traveller I was fairly nervous about staying in a hostel but I had the best experience here. The hostel and the rooms look exactly as they are presented on the website. Very friendly front staff, clean and modern rooms and a welcoming space. I stayed in a female-only 6 bed dorm and it was well-maintained, spacious and the bathroom was modern and clean. The bunk itself had a curtain that wrapped all the way around for privacy that I greatly appreciated. When you check in you are given your linens and make your bed yourself which I liked - I knew that everything was clean and fresh. They have lockers but you must bring your own lock! They sell them for 6$ but cash-only.

I will absolutely be staying here again next time I am in Montreal!

We booked two nights at M Montréal in a twin private room. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to the two king private room. And wow! That room was spacious, well designed, and clean. We highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Montréal.

Shared dorm rooms feature well-made bunks with great privacy. The rooftop patio is amazing. The location is perfect for walking to Old Montréal, and to The Village.

Bed 10/10, curtain set up to give heaps of privacy 10/10, amenities 10/10, staff 10/10, parking 10/10, hot tub could be a bit warmer, location 10/10, bar was actually going off

Great hostel conveniently located in the Village neighborhood, which is only a short distance away from anything in Montréal.

Accueil sympathique et chaleureux.
Propreté, sécurité, professionnalisme, bon rapport qualité/prix. Recommandable.

Nice place.great rooftop area to relax in.the spa pools dont work very well - half the jets are broken - but still nice to have.the communal areas dont feel designed well to be social spaces to it's hard to get to meet other solo travellers or groups.it is a nice place and very clean though.

Il y a des champignons qui pousse dans une craque de la douche commune, tous les prix sont en euro et non en Canadien, pour la laveuse sécheuse c'est 4$ chaques donc 8$ pour 1 brassant, beaucoup trop cher pour que des gars soul te reveille à toutes heures de la nuit dans un cartier de drogués.

Ah aussi regardez le prix comme il faut, ils vont vous charger 80$ les nuits où il y a beaucoup d'achalandage, même si vous avez booké 40$ la journée pour une semaine, chaques jours ne coûte pas la même chose malgré un booking plus long, grosse arnaque.

The M Hotel is really well located, walking distance from the metro Berri that links the green, yellow and orange metro line, we can also walk to the cool neighbourhood Village that offers lots to do during summer time and 15 to 20 minutes walking distance from the Old Port too. The apartment was little expensive if you compare with great Airbnb's apartments, it was a typical empty feel hotel style but its modern and we had everything we needed. The apartment also had a huge balcony, but no furniture and the terrace it's really cool, with hot tubs and nice city view. The reception was fast and they also had a volunteer guide to show us around and guide us to our apartment. The Breakfast area is kind of messed in the morning with lots of people and there was no space in the main room to sit so we went to the other room that was better, but we think we couldn't indicate to our "in laws" to stay there for example, we believe its more more teens and younger people, the same think for the basement bar, it's really cool but not for older people that want to relax and enjoy a beer, it's more a party style. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

Brilliant hostel in the heart of Montreal's "Village. " Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were perfectly clean and well equipped. The roof was a fun space with sun lounges and hammocks. Only disappointment is the hot tubs are weak and cool.

The kitchen was clean and well equipped with ovens, stoves, kettle, toasters, and anything else you could need.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in the village

Great hostel with excellent service! I’ve stayed here twice now and they definitely put care into your stay. They have great amenities and the bunk beds are surprisingly well built and comfortable.

Really excellent hostel experience. Clean, safe, excellent kitchen, comfy beds (for me at least).
I do wish they would put some sound dampers on the footlockers.
Bring earplugs (for snoring.)

Une mauvaise expérience avec cet endroit là, j'ai réservé à 9h00 et puis j'ai annulé par la suite disant tout de suite suite à un imprévu, et là je viens de recevoir leurs prélèvement du montant en totalité.

One of the best run Hostels I have had the chance to stay in.
The 24 hour receptionist desk was amazing and very helpful I appreciate that a lot.
Rooms/bathrooms were very clean and the whole building was well kept to a high standard.
The location was awesome, I was able to reach everywhere I needed to be easily on foot or by bus.
Overall great quality for what you are paying for!
The only criticism I can think of is they definitely need to add a mirror in the women's bathroom!
