Le gars aujourd'hui avait l'air bête comme ses pieds.je ne recommande pas cette endroit. Il aurait pu dire gentillement pourquoi il n'y avait pas de réparation le week-end au lieu d'être désagréable.

Très déçue du service à la clientèle par la personne au comptoir de location de vélo aujourd'hui, le samedi 9 sept 2023. J'ai appelé hier pour réserver une eBike pour mon papa. J'ai demandé une taille "large" parce qu'il fait 5'11, on m'a assuré au téléphone qu'il y avait un modèle large disponible pour aujourd'hui. Ce matin on a récupéré le vélo, j'ai à nouveau précisé que j'avais réservé un large. Un moment après avoir commencé notre balade, mon père me dit que le vélo est bien mais un peu court et qu'il n'est pas très confortable.je lui dis que c'est le plus grand modèle qu'ils ont malheureusement et on continue. C'est seulement quand on est revenus et que j'ai voulu essayer le vélo avant d'aller le rendre que j'ai réalisé que c'était une taille "small" c'était écrit sur la tige de selle! J'ai donc manifesté mon mécontentement à la personne à qui je l'ai rendu (la même qui nous l'a donné le matin) et en guise d'excuses pour l'erreur, je reçois un "moi je prends small alors je me suis dit que ça allait pour lui aussi" (mon père fait une bonne tête de plus que cette personne!)!
À 103$ la journée et alors que j'avais demandé 2 fois une autre taille, j'aurais aimé avoir au minimum un "je suis désolé" et peut être un "est-ce que je peux faire qqch pour vous dédommager de cette erreur" au lieu de me faire charger le paiement complet sur ma carte de crédit sans aucune excuse et comme si tout était parfaitement normal!
Vous avez pignon sur rue et tant mieux pour vous mais ce serait bien de vous assurer que vos employés montrent un peu plus d'egard envers ceux qui vous font vivre: vos clients! Je suis vraiment déçue!
Note additionnelle: j'ai loué un autre vélo à assistance électrique à Allô Vélo suivant cette expérience décevante et bien que moins pratique parce que pas directement sur le bord du canal, le service était bien meilleur et le prix 40% moins élevé!

Nous venons de louer deux vélos cette après-midi.sorti très sympa.les vélos sont très bien entretenus et très confortables. Le loueur est très sympa vous propose des itinéraires.piste cyclable bien aménagée

WoW, je me baladais sur le canal Lachine quand du coup ma chaîne de vélo m’a lâché et un des rayons a aussi brisé, mais Ludo et Andres m’ont sauvé la vie, ils sont super sympathiques et m’ont accueilli chaleureusement et Ludo a fait toutes les réparations et m’a même expliqué ce qui s’était passé. Ma bicyclette est maintenant comme une neuve, merci à toute l’équipe de ma Bicyclette! Prix honnête!

This place has been my favorite bike repair shop for a few years now. This summer Ludo, a new mechanic, went above and beyond with the service of my road bike. He was friendly, professional and was able to get repairs on my bike done quickly (a quality not all bike mechanics have in the montreal area). Hope to see him again at Ma bicyclette next summer.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Rental conditions well-explained. Bikes are indeed high-quality, and well maintained. The shop has a sister business of a cafe/ restaurant. So the area is a place where the local bike community members hang out. If you want double - down, next door is a shop where you can rent a variety of kayaks and other water craft for a paddle on the Lachine Canal. Then cocktails on a barge moored nearby!

I rented a performance bike to use for the Velo Quebec metropolitan challenge. The process was seamless from beginning to end. I made the reservation online and when I showed up they easily found it. I was able to choose which bike I wanted to use. The customer service was excellent and they gave me everything I needed for my ride including a pannier, lock, and materials for fixing a flat (that I thankfully didn't need to use even after riding over a few pinecones). The bike was comfortable and rode great over the course of the several days I had it. I definitely plan to be a repeat customer!

My rented bike was in great shape and the people were excellent & friendly. I would definitely do business with them again in the future.

We prebooked rental of 5 bikes for a family fun ride, Not only did they have everything ready for us when we arrived, but the service from the person on site was excellent. Each year we rent from them for our family ride and will continue to do so!

Rented a tandem from Ma Bicyclette for the week we were in Montreal. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bike was in good, functional condition. The price was reasonable. It was a great, economical way to see and get around the city. I'm very likely to be a return customer if my travels take me to Montreal again. Recommend!

We rented bikes from Ma Bicyclete for a 12 day trip from Montreal and out to the eastern townships. Dave and his team provided us with excellent and well maintained Cannondale hybrids for our joirney. Thanks guys for helping make this such a memorable Quebec experience.

Great place to rent bikes! My partner, son and I all rented them for the day to bike around Montreal. I was grateful to find a place that rented bikes with bike seats. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and gave us different routes to try. Highly recommend them if you are looking for a rental bike or repair while in Montreal.

I'll give a zero star if I can, the man was so rude and gave no semblance of customer service. Never rent anything here just get a Bixie for your local biking.

Excellent shop, had a problem with my crank and they repaired it on the spot quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend their excellent and attentive service.

They no longer do tune ups: (it's a shame because it was done quick and honestly. They now just quick repairs, often on the spot. I got my flat tire (tube replacement) fixed up for 21$ tax in and it took about 30 minutes though it depends on how busy they are. There is also a lot of basic bike gear and cliff bars and such you can buy here.

I needed my saddle replaced and my back fender installed which required a little modifications to fit and the guy there (didn't get his name but he's very nice, has round thin glasses) managed to get it to work:) each one of those little add ons were 5$ each which I believe is standard because my pedal replacement at allo vélo was also 5$. They're honest and won't replace a part unless its necessary so you're not getting ripped off either. Some things they are more expensive than Allo Vélo like bar tape installation

Would definitely go back.

OK, if you are the guy in glasses that I dealt with, you know that every single thing I said in my previous review is true: I clearly told you multiple times that I'm gonna buy a new bike and don't want to spend much on this one. I didn't even let you fix the crank for 50 dollars. What on earth made you think I would pay 99$ for the brakes? The whole bike isn't worth 99 dollars.

You didn't listen, you misled me with a wrong quotation, and now you're denying and playing the victim. You give no credit to the client side of the story. Why would I write a bad review if I'm happy with the service I received?

They messed up my online booking from the previous day and didn't have my bike available for an hour or so after I got there, but the staff were great and the bike was perfect. Montreal is a great city to bike in and this place is situated in the perfect location to do a cool loop of the southern seawall. Their sister cafe/bar next door is also a great place for a pit stop. I'll be back, thank you!

So I took my bike here to get its brakeks fixed. The guy tells me it's gonna be a maximum of 25 dollars. I come back a few days later and they hand me a 99.5$ bill. Imagine my shock!

The guy explains that 2 pairs of new pads each 10$ and "fixing" each break is 18.5$. OK, that's 57$ in total. Why are you charging me the rest of it?

The guy didn't apologize for the mistake he made, just puts 57 on the pose and says "OK, here's the number you like! ". He was acting like he has the high ground and I am the one causing trouble. Will never go back there again.

My sister went there for a tune up for her bike. They managed to install new brake cables without making sure the cable didn't come out of the hosing if you pulled on the brakes hard (which will inevitably happen when you bike in the city and cars want to murder you). Also installed the wrong derailleur cables that didn't fit her bike (they installed cables that go on new bikes instead of the proper model). Worst 100$ she's spent on her bike. Avoid at all cost, this place is a joke, amateur work.

Très déçu du service. Un de mes câbles de freins a lâché après 3 minis rides de vélo, les câbles de vitesse qui ont été changés n’étaient pas adaptés à mon vélo et ont aussi cassés et le vélo n’a pas vraiment été nettoyé. J’ai l’impression d’avoir jeté 100$ à l’eau.

I have used both their rental and repair services and I have been very happy every time.
They seem to have a good fleet of bicycles as I was always able to rent one even at peak hours.
Their prices are very reasonable and the staff has always been very friendly ;)
I highly recommend them!

Great service at this shop. We rented a couple bikes for the day and got a flat tire several kilometres away from the shop. Called the store, they gave us the option of waiting for them to come to help us, or, since that would take a while, finding a bike shop close to us to do the repair which we would then get reimbursed for. We chose the latter, and we got reimbursed for it as promised, no questions asked.

Great service from a down to earth and friendly staff, would recommend to anyone looking to rent a bike in a nice area.

Je trouve que le prix est un peu à la limite comparé au Bixi. Surtout que le magasin ferme assez tôt et c'est un peu rushant quand on veut profiter du jour jusqu'à la fin. Ça ne m'incite pas à revenir plusieurs fois. Dommage. Mon vélo n'avait pas de sonnette ce qui était un peu dangereux je trouve dans certaines situations. Sinon mis à part un frein qui grinçait tout s'est bien passé.

Endroit correct, prix Ok. Mais il a essayer de me prendre pour une nouille. Javais une crevaison, il a trop gonfler mon nouveau tube, donc le tube a carrement exploser en plein foule. Jy retourne et ah tout dun coup mon pneu est pu correct, mais il na absolument RIEN dit la 1ere fois. Il essaye de me vendre une nouvelle roue et bla bla bla. Jai decider de laisser faire, prendre un nouveau tube et le faire moi meme a la maison et depuis je roule a nouveau mais certainement pas grace a cet endroit.

Had a great experience here with my son. Bikes were ready quickly after we walked in (including a lock, pannier bag, helmets) and they gave us a map and some advice on where to go. When I ended up with a flat, they sent someone right away (by bike!) and fixed it.
They seem like laid-back bike nuts who are both technically competent (they know bikes inside and out) and who are driven by the purpose of ensuring people enjoy biking in Montreal.
Prices are quite reasonable.
Way cheaper way to enjoy a sunny day in Montreal than LaRonde— and healthier too!

Online booking is easy. Bikes are good. Staff is excellent. Prices are the best in town. Stay away from Bixi if you plan a full day or 3 hours. This place is cheaper!

Mon compagnon et moi avons loué deux vélos chez Ma Bicyclette tout un dimanche. Ils étaient de très bonne qualité et nous avons apprécié le fait qu'il n'y avait pas de frais supplémentaires pour les sacs et l'anti-vol. La personne de la réception nous a également donné des conseils sur les meilleurs parcours à faire (tout en nous fournissant une carte) et grâce à ça nous avons passé une excellente balade! Je recommande chaudement cette enseigne.

Fun afternoon riding the canal with my 6 year old. They have kids bikes and helmets and the bikes were pretty decent. Only down side was the wait when renting and returning. They charge by the hour and it is much more than a Bixi, but the bikes are better.

Great place to rent bikes or for repairs. Good location in middle of several bike trails. A nice place to rest & snack while cycling Lachine Canal trail. Very helpful with directions about bike paths and free air pump for tires.

Wanted to rent a decent bike to explore a bit more of Montreal. The team at Ma Bicyclette set me up with a fantastic bike, and we're very helpful in explaining the area and which routes are the best to take. The price was also very reasonable for a full day with helmet and bike lock included. Would definitely recommend Ma Bicyclette to anyone who wants to see just how bike friendly Montreal is.

I needed just one replacement pedal on a low end bike. All bike stores would charge me for a full set, cheapest at $25, even without installing it. However Ma Bicyclette just replaced the one I needed and charged me only $5 including the repair work itself! Amazing, awesome, thank you!

Service de base assez bon. Service client atroce et expérience vraiment mauvaise.

Oui, le vélo sort très propre, le mécano fait les ajustements de bases, mais ne te mentionne pas si tu as d’autres réparations possible. En ce sens, le due diligence du mécano est très faible versus les autres magasins de vélo du coin.

« Tu payes pour un tune up de base, je ne regarde rien d’autres et ne t’indiques pas si tu as d’autres problèmes sur ton vélo.  »

Agressif et sur la défensive quand je lui explique que je suis déçu du service.

En bref, une expérience globale très mauvaise.

L’emplacement est super et le set up aussi, ce qui couvre probablement l’atrocité du service de façon générale.

There are actually 2 locations as they've expanded. They have a shop and cafe right across the street with an adorable patio in the condo complex ground floor #1-2727 ST. PATRICK St. Open 7am-6pm daily.

Here they also do more extensive bike tune ups and repair and also sell small biking items.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I dropped my bike Saturday early afternoon for a tune up 1 and it was done Monday early afternoon, they are among the fastest in town.
