By far the best poutine in Montreal! Get the small - plenty enough for two hungry people for lunch. $12 and made to order. The atmosphere was exactly as expected - everyone comes for the food!

Come and check this out, we love the chicken salad and the calamari. I think this is good for 3 to 4 person as they have large portion of the food

It’s just that the Latina the food attendant/cashier is not that friendly enough or maybe because they are already busy and overwhelmed by customers.

And lastly i think they should put fans/ventilation or do something about thr AC, it is kinda hot inside due to the cooking/prep area.

Unreal poutine, a must try. This place is a Portuguese restaurant specialized in Chicken but they offre this humongous poutine for only 15$ tax in (photo). They have two size =11$ and L=15$. The chicken is
very tender, melt in your mouth and the chorizo is full of flavour. Their spicy sauce is sooo delicious. The service is very fast, the only issue is that it's a small place and packed most of the time. Their menu is full of good items, the price is very cheap for the large portion you get. Strongly recommended

Delicious food. It's a pretty fast paced place- We barely had time to look at the menu prior to ordering. Definitely a good idea have a look online beforehand if you are someone who likes to take time to decide!

All of the food was prepared quickly, almost cafeteria style complete with trays.

I had the petite poutine and it's enough for two meals. Obviously the Portugese egg tarts were also ordered (and amazing). I wish we had ordered more to take home!

Friends got the half chicken and the sandwich and both enjoyed.

Would definitely like to come back and try more items.

Le local est un peu à l'étroit, il y peu de place pour les clients, mais la nourriture y est délicieuses.

« Ma poule mouillée » ne mérite pas sa réputation.
- le poulet est une grande déception.
- la plupart des plats sont sans saveurs.
- le service est aussi sympa qu'au Mcdonald.
- zéro hygiène, les tables ne sont pas désinfectées entre les clients, il y a de la nourriture au sol, il n y a aucune distanciation.

Par contre:
- la pâtisserie « pastel de nada » est très bonne, la pâte feuilletée est croustillante et la crème est parfaite.

En gros: il n'y a rien de surprenant dans leur cuisine, pas besoin de faire la queue.

Still very good, but the consistency has dropped A LOT since covid.

They used to be so consistent with how they prepared dishes, but now it's completely hit or miss whether or not you'll get the order you wanted, or whether it will be prepared "properly". Too bad, because I love this place.

The chicken literally melts in your mouth. So tender and juicy! The chicken sandwich was well seasoned, the juicy chicken with garlic bread, I have no other words to describe it besides perfect! Definitely recommend trying their sandwich and the poutine! I am very picky when it comes to how I like my chicken cooked, and this place has impressed me with their chicken. Try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely incredible spot for this 'kitchen sink' style poutine. Piri Piri chicken, super moist and delicious, amazing chorizo, on top of perfect fries, beautiful curds and gravy? ! Looks like a mess, tastes amazing.

Étant d'origine portugaise, mes attentes étaient élevées, mais ils y ont répondu sans hésiter. Le service était rapide et efficace. La nourriture a été servie chaude, malgré le gros line up. Rapport qualité prix numéro 1. La poutine portugaise m'a réellement surprise, elle était excellente! Nous allons certainement y retourner.

Without even starting with the chicken, the poutine is miles ahead of la Banquise across the street. As a stalwart of the former Ramados I was a tough convert but this place just hits it out of the park on all fronts. My favorite stop in Montreal.

Quite good! I came here for their signature spicy Portuguese grilled chicken and it was delicious and reasonably priced. One whole chicken (no sides or drinks) cost $17 before tax. The dark meat was so juicy and tender. However the white meat was a bit dry. The flavours seem to be mostly comprised of paprika, cayenne, and a hefty amount of salt, so I wouldn't eat this every day. The Portugese egg tart was also heavenly! Worth stopping by!

Food was great with amazing portion sizes. The staff was quick and professional, maintain good service in an efficient manner. Got both the poutine and half chicken to-go which were delicious. Would definitely come back again.

Poutine and pastel de natas were bangin!

I grew up eating Portuguese food, chicken, chorico, pork, etc. Portions are very generous and the food is good. It really did hit the spot after a night out and I wasn't in the least bit disappointed. I wish they offered more seafood variety on their menu, and I am not adverse to more spice in the sauces, but that's probably just me.

If you are a fan of portuguese chicken it is the place! But be careful tho it is a bit greasy, so your stomach needs to be ready for the taste.

Usually love this place but the last 2 times I went, after asking for sauce on both the chicken and the fries, I got no sauce. Went today with a friend and both of us requested sauce and got none. That’s the best part, so disappointed we missed out!

Direct translation: my wet chicken. Also means my wimp, sissy? Well, there’s nothing wimpy here. In fact very solid food and one of the best tasting Portuguese chicken that will satisfy that hungry hungry hippo feeling you get. Portions are huge, generous. Especially the fries. I repeat lots of fries. Sure, there’s always a lineup but wait time is almost irrelevant for awesome food. Actually, it’s fairly fast. Reasonable priced too. Well done.

Incredible food across the board.the sauce amAZing. As you leave happy and full of poultry and potatoes you'll be laughing at those poor souls across the street standing in line for mediocre poutine. One strange/rude register attendant but let's face it, that's not going to keep me from coming back.:)

Excellent poutine piled high perfectly cooked chorizo and dark meat chicken. And make sure to add the spice sauce! Only downside is it's a little cramped inside when it gets busy, so seating can be hot or miss if you get there during a busy time.

Greay friendly staff, they speak many languages so do not be shy! Super helpful in explaining portion sizes. Food is great quality and prices are great too.

Maintenant un incontournable du Plateau, tout près du Parc Lafontaine, Ma Poule Mouillée offre un bon poulet à la portugaise. Prix abordables et portions généreuses. La formule est très populaire.

Mauvais accueil et caissière "latine" très arrogante et insolante envers les clients, pas professionnelle du tout. Nourriture quelconque. Ça n'a rien à voir avec les vraies rôtisseries portugaises que j'aime beaucoup. Il n'y avais aucun goût dans le poulet. Parmis notre commande nous avions des sandwichs dans lesquels il n'y avait que des miettes de poulet du coup n'avait que le pain dans le palet. Chose certaine nous n'y retournerons jamais

Big portions and really tasty chicken. They also had a big selection of desserts.

I came here on a Sunday during lunchtime. It was very busy and the place was packed. Super hard to maneuver around the inside because of how tight the space was. It was also very hard to find any open seats.

The best bbq portugese chicken in Montreal. They are second to none.
Its charcoal cooked chicken with generous fries and salad.
Now they sell their delicious hot sauce.
Cant wait to try that out.

Very busy place. Be prepared to jump on a spot to sit. Well organized and delicious food. Quick paced. Huge servings. Come for the food. Stay for the delicious and rich desserts. Quick and polite service. Ask for the sauce piquant (piri piri sauce) with your chicken. You won't be disappointed.

I loved this restaurant. The poutine is the best in town! Better than in La Banquise. Service is fine and fast. Environment is very informal and not too noisy.

- Food is delicious and the quantity is massive!
- Menu is in French so if you can't read French, you'll need help figuring out what to order.
- It is busy and seats are hard to find, it's probably better to take it to go instead.
- Due to how busy it is, the service lacks. You walk in line, order food, pick-up your food, walk to the cashier (with your plates), pay and find yourself a table (if you can).

Food quantity is huge and plates are made of heavy ceramic which makes it hard to navigate through the ordering process and finding a table all while holding your heavy plate of food. I witnessed at least two people drop their plates or spill food while navigating around.

In conclusion, food is great but, go with a few friends so you can get help finding tables and serving yourself your food. If you can't read French, find help.
