Fantastic Sancerres. The oysters choices were amazing. Mussels perfectly cooked. Chips much better than any others I have had in Montreal. I have to say the service was unbelievable. So caring for every need and want. Enrique was absolutely wonderful.
I usually eat/drink all the above at one of the best restaurants in the US. This is more exceptional. And by the way I paid more around the corner for an utterly mediocre unmemorable meal. Come.

The host was really nice and so welcoming!
The mussels with lemon and garlic was phenomenal and both the garlic and spicy shrimp were exquisite!

Definitely will recommend and go back!

Rien à reprocher au niveau du service. La dame qui nous a servi était adorable. Par contre, j’avais de plus grandes attentes en ce qui concerne le plat de fruit de mer. La cuisson de certains fruits de mer laissait à désirer. Outre cela, tout était à notre goût!

Outstanding choice for seafood in Montréal. Fresh everything and unique takes on traditional dishes. Small restaurant but large amount if choices from diverse oyster offerings to a full bar. We started with scallop/ pineapple ceviche bursting with flavor. Entees were even better perfectly seared Chipotle cruated Tuna hit the spot. Louisiana seafood broth was so savory and our server brought me some bread so I could sop and not waste a drop. Service was very good but just a warning can be a little loud. Wish we could have tried more as we watched reactions from other tables to first bites.

Great Service and selection. As 1st time oyster-eaters, we were explained the selection and provided options accordingly. Everything was fabulous, wine, meal and dessert. Thank you for great date night.almost one year and going strong

My family and I ate here for my birthday and the food, drinks and service were all outstanding! I highly recommend and will be definitely returning and recommending to all my friends and family visiting Montreal

Bien qu’ils sont en manque de personnel pour le service, c’est fantastique!
La bouffe est vraiment excellente!
Il est rare de voire une propriétaire s’impliquer dans le service. Elle parle avec passion de son menu et elle est d’une efficacité tout comme son équipe!

Bon restaurant mais service ordinaire pour le prix de la facture exemple échappé du café sur moi et même pas pensé offrir le café faut croire que le boss avait plus besoin d'argent que moi je ne retournerai plus jamais la

I would strongly recommend this oyster restaurant. The food is good.
We have a plate of combination with 5 oysters, and another dozen happy hour oysters. I would suggest you go with happy hour oysters, cuz they are less expensive and medium sized, and I can not tell the difference of different oysters.
The crab cake is great, my girl friend likes it very much.
The waiter is super nice and patient, though he is really busy.
I do recommend this restaurant.

Decided to try out this place for the seafood. The decor was ok with a rather plain ambiance. I had the oysters which were fresh but I was confused by the pricing and only realized my mistake when I received the bill. It would've been nice if the staff would've spent the time to explain the details when I was ordering. The Caesar salad was nothing to right home about and truly I should've passed on it. Now I had the Louisiana Seafood which was great and was more then enough for one person. Made me regret that I had a salad before that. I would recommend this place if you love seafood but be certain on what you're ordering.

Superbe soirée, dès notre arrivé un peu difficile de trouver un serveur, mais rien de grave! Service un peu lent pour le nombre de personnes que nous étions dans la salle. On a adoré le plateau pour deux, c’est sûr que un homard froid sur glace n’a pas du tout le même goût et texture qu’un homard chaud. Maîtres des huitres! Elles étaient toutes délicieuses et fraîches. Très bonne recommandation. Les cocktails ont l’air tous bons, j’ai pris un mojito et c’est le « best so far » que j’ai dégusté! (Huîtres des îles du prince Édouard)

With all the nice reviews I was seriously considering going, but after reading the sarcastic and hateful reaponses from the owner, I need to think twice.

We had an amazing meal. Would definitely return. We had 6 oysters & Caesar Salad both were great. But the Grilled shrimp with ginger maple syrup & goat cheese was a wonderful surprise. Salmon tartar with wontons was perfect and the Tagliatelle with Shrimp was cooked to perfection! Staff was great too, Thanks Maestro SVP for a lovely evening!

We had a variety of oysters. I highly recommend the ones from BC, very tasty. Followed by well cooked mussels but they were drowned in tasteless liquid. 3 stars bc mussels did not come with fries which is usually how they are served. We ordered side fries which were homemade and savoury. 3 stars bc I had to ask for wet wipes for our hands. And our waitress was not the most amicable as other patrons pointed out.

La dame blonde qui est serveuse ou gérante est de loin la pire serveuse que j’ai eu depuis longtemps. Bête, aucun sourire, nous presse pour commander, ne vient pas nous voir au moment ou nous sommes prêts pour commander après avoir fait signe plusieurs fois. La nourriture est super bonne mais malheureusement le service est très décevant

Great energy, nice staff, amazing service, huge oyster selection. We had a great time with good people and we highly recommend. We just discovered a nice place to come again, and again, and again. ;) enjoy! ️

Place is very cute and our server was phenomenal. He put together an oyster platter for us that sampled their extensive selection. The cocktails were pretty interesting. I can't say that I've ever had an oyster in a martini before! Try the très leches cake for dessert!

Très belle découverte, petit resto sympathique pour déguster Huîtres, Moules, Crevettes etc
Belles assiettes, bien présentées, goûteuses et les ingrédients m'ont semblés frais. Bon choix de vins.
Malgré le manque flagrant de personnel l'attente fut raisonnable, nous étions 5 et tout le monde fut servi en même temps et tout était chaud. Nous avons été très satisfaits.
Je recommande cet endroit sans hésiter.

This is an excellent seafood restaurant located in a vibrant area of Montreal. Excellent service and fresh ingredients. Oysters, seafood pasta, and salmon was all delicious. Great drink selection. Will return again when back in Montreal!

Je donne 3 étoiles pour la nourriture qui est bonne malgré le prix élevé. Cependant je pense que la propriétaire qui fait le service doit prendre un cours de service à la clientèle. Aucune notion de rétention et satisfaction des clients. Ce qui compte, pour elle, est uniquement la facture.
J'ai pris le temps de lire les autres commentaires des gens et malheureusement c'est la même expérience que j'ai vécue.

L'autre serveur qui est là depuis plusieurs années est super et sympathique. Il prend en charge ses clients et essaye de faire de son mieux.

Malheureusement, je ne reviens jamais ni moi ni mon entourage. Merci

Le tartare était succulent. Les huîtres étaient super bonnes, mais l'assiette de fruits de mer Louisiane, un peu trop épicé à mon goût. Dispendieux pour la quantité. Très belle ambiance, beau resto et très bon service!

I can't say if the oysters are fresh, or if the beer is cold or if the wine is good; they never offered us anything.
Since we arrived, after minutes of waiting to find out if there was a table available or not, a lady in a very bad way replied, "look for a table outside".
I accepted the abuse because my wife really wanted to eat oysters.
We sat down and for 20 minutes waited to be taken care of, and despite asking three times to be served, nothing happened.
This is an exception in Montreal. Although in most of bars and restaurant have young students as servers, not professional waiters, the people are courteous and friendly; this lady really was nasty.
The variety of oysters in the menu is impressive, which makes it even more necessary a good service, who serves you in an integral way.
And if you add to that that the prices are not economic, even more so as not to lose the investment.
Simply put, I recommend avoiding taking the risk with this site.

Nice ambience and food was ok. Had the warm seafood platter for 2 and the only flavor it had was a very little sauce on the bottom (not even enough to scoop up qothbthe mussels) and some little sauces and butter in the side which you get charged $$1.50 for an extra. Also, would have been much better with at least a side of veggies or something. Like I said, wasn't bad but not worth $$130.

Avoid this place unless you want to waste your money. Small portions and very expensive. Service was ok. Our boss boy was very nice.

Like many of the reviewers had mentioned the hostess who had greeted us which im assuming is also the owner was hostile and not very accommodating. Should've taken noticed from all the childish replies by the owner from all the other negative reviewers.

Tourist trap, you've been warned! There's plenty of other delicious options for seafood nearby, like Majestique, but Maestro was tasteless and the menu upcharges everything like sauces. And beware of the rude owner, she has no time for even welcoming you and could care less about giving you rude service because it's such a busy street. Enjoy your time in Montreal, go somewhere else.

It is a bit on the expensive side but if you are craving good oysters it is a great choice. Neighborhood is very lively.

Les plats sont assez chers car la nourriture est bonne, sans plus.
La propriétaire, qui s'occupe du service, n'est pas sympathique et pousse beaucoup à la vente.
Je n'y retournerai plus.

We had oysters, seafood platter and clam chowder. Everything was beyond our expectations, especially the CLAM CHOWDER!

Next time we are in montreal we will for sure go here again!

Fantastic! Oyster were amazing, the manager talked us through what we were having, THEE best seafood platter! Wine was good, and a good price…. The manager here makes this place even more, he is polite, curious and very knowledgeable….

We just had beers but it seems like a great place for seafood and oysters. The atmosphere is perfect for hangouts and dates. The service was on time. Recommended.

Si l'on recherche un petit restaurant calme et convivial Maestro SVP est le coin parfait. Service impeccable, au top, les huîtres sont fraiches et super bonnes:)

J'étais déjà allée au restaurant avant la pandémie - et à chaque fois au cours des années, c'était excellent à tout point de vue. Mais c'était la première fois que je faisais livrer chez moi, et aussi depuis la Covid. Je voulais donc faire quelques commentaires sur ce point, car avec la qualité et la fragilité des fruits de mer, réussir à livrer un repas complet avec la même qualité qu'au restaurant peut être un challenge, j'imagine. Mais bravo car bien franchement, nous avons mis un peu du nôtre pour faire de belles assiettes, mais sinon c'était comme au restaurant.:)

Et en plus c'était pour une occasion vraiment spéciale à 2, et je dois dire que je n'ai pas été déçue! Les huîtres fraîchement ouvertes étaient parfaitement emballées et ont donc superbement survécu au transport. Nous avions aussi des bruschettas, délicieuses en entrée, et bien chaudes à la réception, et ce même après avoir dégusté les huîtres. En plus de cela, leur version de la soupe de crabe que je goûtais pour la première fois était aussi intéressante par ses saveurs, malgré que j'aurais préféré avoir un ou deux morceaux de crabe entiers (petits) plutôt que des miettes en grande quantité. Mais cela dit, la soupe était très goûteuse et la chair de crabe en quantité généreuse. Mon commentaire est plus au niveau de la texture. Les queues de homard étaient tout à fait divines. Le plat de crevettes à l'ail commandé était aussi génial, avec le risotto. Les crevettes étaient de belle taille et cuisinées à la perfection. Il est certain que j'ai dû les faire réchauffer quelques minutes au four, mais après nos entrées une heure plus tard environ, c'était bien normal! Mention spéciale pour le vin ; c'était la première fois que j'en faisais venir en livraison du restaurant depuis que c'est autorisé. Le Sancerre Les Baronnes 2019 en question était excellent, et parfaitement agencé pour les plats que nous avions. Nous l'avons reçu rafraîchi à point comme au restaurant, un vrai luxe:) Nous avions aussi un petit dessert, le gâteau au fromage dulce de leche, qui bien que trop sucré à mon goût, a bien plu à mon mari:)

En résumé, une livraison parfaite et un repas exceptionnel avec des produits de grande qualité et un vrai savoir-faire. Suite à cette expérience, je recommande chaudement de commander sur leur site directement pour la livraison et arranger les détails si c'est pour une occasion spéciale. Bref, nous allons sûrement commander à nouveau en ligne et faire un autre festin à la maison bientôt si cette pandémie perdure!

I ate at that restaurant last year and I just remembered to leave a review now. I will not comment about the prices or food, i will only comment about the lady who served us who I think is the owner, she was terribly rude! I was hesitant at writing this at first, but after going through the reviews, i found the same complaint from others guests. Its a shame that such lady who claims being in business for 27 years, still didn't learn the basics of her profession. Pathetic! If you wanna get treated in such a trashy way so this is your place to be.

The lady or the owner and the waiter was very rude and unprofessional.the mussels that I ordered was really bad.they don’t treat the customers well.if anyone deserves a bit of respect please stay away from this place!

I paid $120 for average food, to leave hungry and to have myself and my girlfriend promptly woken up at 5am by food poisoning.

Wow! Service impeccable, nourriture excellente! Rapport qualité/ prix très bien! La patronne nous a même accueillis et nous a convaincu d'essayer un entrée d'oursin délicieux. Nous y sommes restés 3 heures sans jamais vouloir partir, jamais manqué de rien! Vraiment on a adoré. Et que dire des beaux drinks ️ on y retourne c'est sur!

Wow, mon mari ma fait la surprise.un beau et bon menu, effectivement le prix n'est pas donné mais quand même accessible pour ce faire gâter. Petoncle, moule, crevette, saumon même le filet mignon vaut la peine!
