Maffeo’s Poulet Frit

I've read some of the reviews, and though I can understand the wait time may be long for some, I can definitely say it's worth the wait; you're getting freshly cooked chicken, fries and spaghetti!

To add, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming and positive, and you can't deny the urge to sing a little karaoke while you wait (if you have the guts that is!)

Simply THE best fried chicken in MTL! It is exquisite! Try it out by yourself, promise you won’t be deceived! I drive miles just to eat there!

Best fried chicken in the city! Portions are big and everything is always freshly made. The mild Wing Wing and fries are my go to. Owner is a very cool guy, great service overall.

The best fried chicken in Montréal! Every piece was Juicy and tender, fries were golden and crispy! Dessert buco pandan was amazing as well! Very friendly staff, fast and efficient service! Parking wasn't an issue either. This is definitely a hidden gem here in town. Everyone has got to try this restaurant! Keep up the great work guys!

Great customer service and better food. The chicken is crispy and tender, not greasy at all. The fries are excellent and the large portions makes Maffeo’s feel like one of the few good value restaurants left in Montreal. Absolutely recommended!

Just moved to the neighborhood and was told great things about the place. Went twice now and it definitely lives up to the hype! Shout-out to the chicken burger and the chicken "pops" that are massive!

Probably the best fried chicken I've had! Take the spicy version is so good. I've never been one for gravy, but with this chicken it's delicious! The fries are seasoned and so crispy, yum.

What's even greater is that the owner is really friendly and it feels nice to support this local enterprise.

Juicy fried chicken, pretty spicy if you choose spicy. I also like the chicken burger, very tasty with the sauce.
The spaghetti is not Italian style but rather with sweetness.

Cet endroit n'a rien à voir avec les autre restaurants de poulet frit que l'on retrouve à Montréal. L'essayer c'est l'adopter. Frais, juteux, croustillant. Parfait!

Crispy outside, tender juicy inside.
You can't go wrong with a clean grain fed, barn raised, halal chicken. Well prepared and fried in a pressure fryer to its perfection. Not to mention the nicest owner and their friendly stuff.

Best friend chicken in Montreal! Owner and staff are super friendly. The spaghetti is a great option instead of always having french fries. Love the spicy fried chicken, adds a nice touch of flavor and isn't overly spicy either. Another great thing is the chicken coating is dry flour based with no eggs so great for one of my family members who has an egg allergy. Great addition to Ville Émard!

The chicken isnt seasoned kfc style but it is moist, crispy and tasty. Havent tried the gravy yet. The spaghetti is good but I would like a bit more meat for texture and was missing the hot dogs: (The service is friendly and the food is fresh. Will definitely go back!

I took the pop pop chicken and a poutine! Really great! The chicken is really well breaded! The poutine sauce is really good too! The staff was super nice too!

Meilleur poulet frit en ville et grosse portion! Toujours frais et le personnel est vraiment gentil. Je trouvais bizarre de manger des pâtes avec du poulet frit, mais le mélange est délicieux!

The customer service was A1 - best I’ve ever had in years. The chicken was crispy and juicy. It is not heavily seasoned (or some people might call it under seasoned) but I think it was well balanced as you can actually taste the quality of chicken.

Le poulet frit est extrêmement juteux! Pas très épicé sur le coup, mais après plusieurs bouchées, le mélange d'épices est juste parfait! Drôle de mélange avec le spaghetti, mais j'ai vraiment bien aimé ça à la place des frites! Et le propriétaire est aussi très accueillant!
