Les dumplings sont vraiment très bon. Tout comme leurs soupes en entrée.
Par contre la salle et très petite et pas très belle et le service pas super.

The curry dumplings fried are the best; you can't go wrong with any of their traditional dumplings.

The soup dumplings are ok, come here for the cold dishes and the traditional dumplings boiled or fried.

The food is delicious. But be careful If you don't prepare a tip first when you pay, they might throw a receipt in your face. They change suddenly without waiting for the time to prepare the tip.

It was our first trip to Canada and it takes some time to pay in cash. We were definitely trying to tip them.but they can't wait for that short time and throw in the receipt.

I've been going here religiously for years. Steamed #19 (pork, shrimp, cilantro) and #10 (beef, onion, curry) are the BEST! I've tried nearly everything on the menu but I keep coming back to these two.

The chili sauce is well-balanced, the best I've found in chinatown. If you are in a hurry, I recommend going after lunch or supper rush hours, as all dumplings are handmade to order. This restaurant is VERY consistent in quality, and it's cash only, though there is an ATM in the entrance if you forget.

They only accept cash. The dumplings are delicious and you can see the cooks making it fresh through the glass windows to the kitchen. I highly recommend the boiled lamb dumplings and one order comes with 15 dumplings. This is my go to spot for dumplings!

The restaurant only accepts cash, and has a ATM outside, which charges a few dollars for transaction fee. If you don’t have cash and want to eat here, consider paying less tip to make up for the transaction fee they made from the ATM machine

Great Xiao long bao. We tried the pork and chive. The fried pork and cabbage dumplings were also good. Friendly staff, fairly priced.

Only thing i disliked is that the tables are a little small and wobby, and theres not much room between tables.

The BEST dumplings ever in Montreal! The staff is so nice and kind there I always order their delicious pork dumplings, beef dumplings & lamb dumplings.their place is so beautiful️ I recommend to try their tea. I highly recommend Mai Xiang Yuan for dumplings here in Montreal!

Dumplings were not tasting good. Bad taste, even for the soup. Place was not appetizing overall and messy.

Homemade dumpling, good quality. Typical China town vibe, not super new and clean. Food serve fast. The dough slightly thicker than some of other place. The steam one is very juicy. The boiled one surprisingly good, too. This place is CASH only so please prepare.

Nice choice of dumplings and they are good. But poor service, cleanliness and you can’t pay with card (cash only).

Although there is no "real" difference between guo tie and fried dumplings, in this restaurant their guo tie actually tastes much better than their fried dumplings (the latter is not that bad neither, just a bit dull). Tastes a bit flat, you won't get too much texture from it, but for what it has it's actually pretty good.

A few weeks later I tried their steamed buns and boiled dumplings (both pork-based, but there's other varieties including beef and lamb) and they were AMAZING. The buns have a lot of juice in it, which gives a really satisfying experience while eating.

New address (used to be next door) as good as the last one. Only point tho, the porc crabs used to cost 12$ for 10 pieces. Now it’s like 8$ for 4 pieces AND they changed the recipe, not worth it any more, not very good. Used to be my favorites? The rest is still as good

Première expérience de Dumplings, c'était super bon! Malheureusement, après avoir payer ma facture j'ai demandé pourquoi il m'avait chargé autant d'extra et le cuisinier m'a littéralement engueuler. J'ai figé et je suis parti le plus vite que j'ai pu. Ça expliquait peu être pourquoi il n'y avait personne un samedi soir.

Les dumplings sont excellents! Puis la soupe aigre douce est particulièrement goûteuse, à essayer

Their Xiao Long Bao are very good, their chili oil is tasty and they're dumplings avec also very flavorful!

Bravo pr cette rue.qui a quand même changé, mais tout autant intéressante, on y mange bien (pas partout ;) si on connais.c'est très bien!

J'y commande mes dumplings depuis plus de 2ans et c'est à chaque fois un vrai délice. Les commandes à emporter sont prêtes en 10-15min. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Je recommande à 100%, les meilleurs dumplings que j'ai goûté à Montréal.

Pas service en français. A peine en anglais. Très long service inorganisé. Si vous commandez par téléphone, il se peut qu'ils vous aient oublié et vous devrez attendre. Longtemps. Par contre les raviolis sont excellents.

Can't believe I forgot to rate this place! I've been coming here for ages and it's still one of my favourite dumpling places in Montreal. They make the best lamb and celery dumplings ever, fried and boiled.

Service at this location is very slow though and the demand is constant so on busy days expect to wait maximum an hour. It's crazy but sometimes the dumpling craving is too strong. The upside is if this place is full you are already in Chinatown so you can go to another dumpling place. Cash Only.

The dough for the dumpling wrappers isn’t great for all dumplings (had soup, steamed, boiled, and fried). More difficult than it should be to chew the beef curry dumplings. Staff who works here are nice though!

Les dumblings sont bons mais cette place accepte que l’argent comptant et en plus, il faut qu’on demande chaque fois la facture au caissier? ! (si non il ne la donne jamais) Ça m’en doute les taxes seront remises au Revenu Québec ou dans la poche du patron?

Très bon, possible de demander le menu du restaurant d'à côté, qui est moins cher et plus savoureux, mais produit dans la même cuisine.

Fried dumpling dry and hard as opposed to crispy and soft and juicy inside. Also wondering if their sauce is diluted with water.

Come here for many years since it first opened in china town and i still love to come here whenever I can. Boiled, steamed and fried dumplings are great and service is friendly. Food comes at a reasonable time and bathrooms look clean. Some beers like tsing tao and Sapporo are also served here. Recommended for families, friends and couples!

Il faut le dire, le premier accueil n'était pas très chaleureux, mais passé cela, nous nous sommes vraiment régalés!

The staff seems really nice and smiley. We ordered the beef curry fried dumplings and while we were waiting for our order I saw a customer leave his hat behind so a staff went running to give it to the customer who left the restaurant. Really nice to see that. The order didnt take that much time either. So all in all, it was a good stop we made for some fried dumplings. I did notice that everyone around us were ordering more of the fried dumplings than the steamed dumplings. The taste of the beef curry dumplings were the bomb! Love the way they tasted.so good!

This is hands down the home of the best grilled cheese I have ever eaten. And I don't say this lightly having eaten this simple sandwich my entire life, both homemade through to supposed "gourmet" hotspots. From the perfect sourdough to the flavorful ingredients down to the 3-cheese harmony this was a true delicacy. The ambiance was eclectic and in a pleasant developing neighborhood. I would eat here everyday.

They specialize in dumplings. The food tastes good i ordered vegetarian dumblings. The varieties for vegetarians are not much. Also they don’t have any chicken dumblings. They give you complementary green tea with fried rice tea it tastes good too. Their prices are pretty decent. You get 15 dumblings for 10 dollars

The food is pretty good. I only had the vegetarian option. The restaurant is clean and the staff is nice.
Be aware though, the service is slow during lunch time and it gets packed so come early.
They also only take cash, but there is an ATM in the entrance.

Plusieurs morceaux de porc impossibles a mâcher dans les dumplins a la vapeur (os, cartilage), pauvre qualité des ingrédients, tres peu de saveurs si ce n'est pas trempé dans la sauce soya. Soupe Wonton a une odeur nauséabonde, mais heureusment a bon gout. Tres bon service de livraison rapide.

Dumplings were ok. The guy behind the counter digging in his nose for treasure was moderately off putting

Food was okay. The staff on the other hand were another story. More specifically, the lady in the cash who scolded me for not knowing that they only accept cash. Then, the icing on the cake, was when she pocketed the rest of my cash and then pretended that I was owed no change.

I think it goes without saying that I will always suggest another dumpling place.

Delicious! We ordered the pork and Chinese cabbage (boiled, see photo) and a fried beef curry dumplings. 12 dumplings come with each order. They were delicious, fresh, and juicy. We could not inhale them faster! Highly recommend.

La bouffe est excellente! Par contre il a été impossible de manger sur place.il faisait très froid dans le resto à cause de la porte. Nous sommes donc partis avec notre repas finalement.

We are a retired Australian couple visiting Montreal for our very first time. This was also our very first time eating dumplings! We had them fried, I had pork and cabbage, my partner tofu and cabbage. They were delicious! We came back for seconds on our last night here.

Take out order of pork and leek dumplings. It was still crispt by the time I brought it back to my room. Maybe I'm spoiled in NYC, but it was a bit bland. Can use a little more salt in the filling, but the dumplings weren't bad. The spicy oil wasn't as spicy as it looks. The dumpling sauce was a little savory. A lower sodium soy sauce. Next time I will try the other fillings for dumplings. Maybe the shrimp, pork and mushrooms.

Très bonne nourriture, service très courtois et rapide! Bon rapport qualité/prix/portion. Ma place préférée pour manger les dumplings.

Service incroyablement long et compliqué. Faite attention car en fin de soirée ils te donnent un peu se qu'ils veulent. Sinon les dumpling sont bon.

Perfect dumplings! It’s just perfect! I’ll definitely come back again. This is so far the best meal of my trip. Highly recommend you to try it if visiting Montréal.

Their steamed dumplings seem good and their prices are low but the fried dumplings taste like cardboard and the wait time is very long. Also it's cash only so be prepared. Their french is also pretty bad, if that concerns you

The sweet and sour soup has the right flavours but not the right texture but still delicious!

Delish dumpling in a no frills setting. Prefer their steamed dumplings over the fried. (Really). Favorite was the pork, shrimp and cilantro but everything we had was great.
