2007, les sushis sont aujourd’hui grotesques, voir les images ci-jointes d’une commande pour emporter de près de 200$ en date du 21 octobre 2023. Sushis peu garnis, qualité décevante, présentation abérantes pour pareil prix et bannière. Les contenants de soya et sauce étaient remplies au 1/5. Réellement c’est rire au visage des clients et très honteux de servir pareil produit.

What a disappointing experience. My fiancée and I were actually excited to go there tonight for her birthday. We were met with very dry and rude service from our waitress. When asked to refill the soya sauce, we were given one from the table next to ours and it was almost empty. I asked for the complimentary ice cream for my fiancées birthday and she brought it without clearing the table of our supper!

The presentation of the food and the decor was Instagram worthy, but the food itself was not nearly worth the hype I've been hearing, and certainly not the price tag.

Maybe I was unlucky, but I am certainly not coming back again.

You're better off ordering à la carte. Lunch special (chef's choice) is mediocre. 28$ for a bunch of fried maki. There was not a single tuna nor salmon on the dish!

Super bon restaurant. On a prit des Sushi à la carte + quelques spécialités de la maison et tout était excellent. Essayez la banane flambée en dessert! Un vrai régal.

I order quite a bit from Maiko and I always seem to land on the same hostess - Dimi. She's really the greatest, always very nice and has good suggestions for me to try new things. Highly recommend

Probablement oarmi les meilleurs Sushis de la région Montréalaise. Les Sushis sont énormes et bien garnis, la présentation impeccable. Les Sashimis sont néanmoins, une note en dessous. La place est très populaire et dans l'air du temps, bref un peu chicos et de fait des prix en conséquences.
Bonne expérience, éventuellement à refaire.

Maïko Sushi I drive from the city to pick up food and you will not let my 7 year old use the bathroom even though in dining room is open and allowed? And then you tell me to go to another restaurant to use their washroom? ! Shame on you!

Terrible customer service the person taking orders on the phone should be fired and so should the manager. I placed an order of sushi and a salad and i asked for more dressing and ginger for the salad you would figure they would not have a problem with this after paying $19 for a salad but apparently they do. They wanted to charge an extra $2 for ginger and an extra $2 for extra dressing. I asked to speak to the manager and he said that that's their policy, that is not acceptable, and we are good customers. Since when is policy more important than keeping customers? There are plenty of other sushi restaurants that are more than willing to have you as a customer go elsewhere!

Food is very good. Trying to get through to them to place an order is very difficult and annoying. Bad experience ordering on New year's Eve as they take on too many orders they can't handle and never got my food. If you don't want to be left starving on special events, don't order from maiko.

The food is excellent but the noise and the music is too loud. They play night club music. Dont they realize we comme to have a good relaxing dinner.
I have to rush eating my food because at the end all I want is run away from this noise and music. You should play zen relaxing music and not bar or night club songs

Not as good as they used to. Tried them during the Covid and we were not impressed for 75$! Too much expensive for just average sushi
We moved to Saint-laurent.
Found a place much much much much better.
Try Kyoto sushi in Saint-Laurent, simply the best.

Je prenais le take out souvent Les Éventeils toujours parfait! Les petites coup de homard Un merveilleux 5 étoiles, PANDÉMIE arrive et revoilà je commande des eventeils enfin Et là que c’est il passé? Ou est passé le Maïko que je connaissais? Quelle immense déception! Qualité médiocre, shushis de piètre qualité, cela ressemblait au plus banal que l’on puisse trouver en franchise. L’accueil au téléphone Facture quand même de 263$! Erreur de parcours je l’espère! En tout cas très déçue

Very disappointed! 2nd time I ordered online, the food was 2nd rate. There wasn't any fish or seafood bit the prices were substantial! I hate to be taken for a ride.

Very, very disappointed. I've been few times and had great suppers in the restaurant. But online service, is disgusting, no images of the product and no quantities on the prices. I don't know what I order and I don't know how many i will get for my money. Looks bad. I went on place and they do not take orders just on line or by phone. Order off what? I will never go anymore there and i do not recommend this restaurant to no one. They are not Japanese. No respect for they clients. I know what I talking about, i've been two months in Japan from Hiroshima to Sapporo.

I’ve been going since the beginning and I’ve never ever not once been disappointed. Consistency at its best. It’s is not only the spectacularl food and presentation, It’s a full experence. Great staff and amazing ambiance. Truly a 5 star establishment.

I've been to this strip mall for years and had no idea this amazing place existed in it. The resto's slightly faded sign doesn't indicate how fresh and lovely the inside actually is. Delicious, gorgeously plated food is served up in a comfortable, artfully decorated space. We were in the party room and enjoyed the secluded area very much.

Had a very unforgettable experience. The chef's choice lunch special for $24 was 2 dynamite rolls and a California roll. The Shrimp tempura was about 30% more $ than most places and had about 50% less shrimp. I ordered toro Toro nigiri at 2pcs for $22 and they forgot to ring it in so I didn't get it. The foie gras nigiri was amazing which is where all 3 of these stars come from. With a $25 bottle of sake lunch was $150 for 2 people. Probably won't bother coming back. Service might as well have been a robot. Zero personality or friendliness.

Went for lunch and ordered the most expenses sushi plate on the menu. 6 of the 12 roles were California and the other 6 rolls were imitation crab and deep fried shrimp.was pretty disappointing! Service was blah. Would not go back there are many better places in the WI, Katoria or Avacado Sushi have MUCH better and sushi and far better prices!

Quite good! This place does both the traditional and the fusion really well. My favorite was the seared tuna slices -absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is clubby and loud.

There is no better place. There are so many varieties, that you can come back and always try a different one. The sweet potatoes vegetarian sushi is my favorite to date.

The service is great. They give you hot towels at the beginning. You always feel taken in charge, but since it's a popular restaurant, they have a lot of work, so it's normal to wait sometimes.

The restaurant is also really good looking, but the light is a bit dark and the music is loud so people are talking loud and it can be hard to have a conversation

You have to reserve, if you don't, you might have to wait more than an hour to find a seat. I had a reservation and still had to wait around 10-15min before our table was ready.

The place is pricey, but really worth the money. If you want to eat the best sushi in Montreal, this is the place to go. Still waiting to find a better sushi place.

Leurs plats spécialités sont des plats savoureux et uniques qui vont font tombé en amour avec leur vision culinaire. L’endroit est propre et bien décoré (insta goals). Le service est toujours parfait. Je n’ai jamais eu une mauvaise expérience.

I've had better sushi, my standards were so high for this restaurant that I got disappointed. The soy sauce was very salty and a bit bitter. The ingridents used wasn't fresh. All the bad reviews about the restaurant is concerning the service. The service was good but not great, such as not everything came at the same time and a lot of breaks between the meals. To give you an example, we have ordered two appetizers and a bunch of different sushis. One of two appetizers arrived and the second one arrived 7minutes later. Then we had a big break between the 2nd appetizer and 1 type of sushi dish and the all the rest came in after 10minutes.

Nice place and great food! Had the Shrimp Tempura and my friend had the Salmon Tartare, both delicious. Love the salad, but not so fond of the soup (but I don't like Miso). Have been here a few times and it never disappoints. If you're not comfortable with chop sticks, they can provide knife and fork if you ask for it. Friendly service. We were there for three hours and we were not rushed by the waiter. Clean bathrooms! Recommended and I will definitely come back.

I am not a sushi type at all. Having said this, if friends want to have sushi, I will find something & make do. I found an excellent steak!

Sushi was top notch, the food 100% exceeded all expectations. Service was a bit slow with not much attention paid to our drinks, etc. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with very fresh sushi.

The quality and variety of sushi is excellent. It's a trendy environment usually bustling with clients. Service for me wasn't warm and personal. It was all business but efficient. I do recommend Maiko and will return.

The place was really good. Very clean restaurant and we ordered a sushi combo for 2 people as you can see from the picture. It was very filling. I recommend the place.

Très beau restaurant, décoré avec goût. La carte est large et variée, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Les plats sont excellents, les saveurs raffinées et bien combinées. Le poisson est fondant en bouche, de très bonne qualité et bien coupé.
Évidemment, ce raffinement a un prix: les mets sont assez coûteux. Il y a une formule midi très intéressante, qui contient une entrée soupe et salade (la salade est ex-ce-llente, rien a redire: parfaite), plat, thé vert et dessert (très bonne boule de glace vanille avec sésame et caramel), le tout pour une 20aine de dollars. En terme de quantité pour ce menu, j'en sors repu, mais les grosses faims seront sûrement un peu déçue.
(Dommage qu'ils ne soient pas très ouvert aux demandes concernant des petites modification au menu cependant, pour éviter certains ingrédients par exemple!)

En somme, très bonne place, que je recommande volontier! Pour une occasion speciale, foncez, l'originalité est au rendez vous!:)

Our besties took us here and introduced us to Maiko every time we visit them.foods here is absolutely exquisite! Excellent customer service, Everything we ordered was so delicious and beautiful decorations. Each dish has their own special flavor and flowers decorations. Love their steak, so tender, juicy, medium rare as requested, seared to perfection, melted in your mouth.

One of the best sushi place! They took too long to bring our food and the waiter apologized for it, I still give a 5 star I think it was a one time thing, it was full of people so we understand and the quality was there. It can be pricey for some people but you get what you pay for, I think the prices are fair for the quality and taste you get.

This place is delicious! One thing to point out is the fact that the rolls are HUGE! However, the ingredients taste fresh and will definitely coming back for more.

Maiko Sushi is the best sushi restaurant in Montreal hands down. If you want to eat there on the weekend you must do a reservation.

I’m surprised that the ratings are so high here. We finally gave a try and thought the food was just ok for how expensive they charge ($23 for sushi & sashimi lunch special). The miso soup was hot and yummy. The best part was the salads, nice seasoning and dressing. My husband ordered the vegetarian teriyaki, there were lots bean spouts with soy sauce. He doesn’t eat tofu, and half of his plate was tofu; I ate the tofu & enjoyed it! The sushi and sashimi plate was ok. Their soy sauce is in the sweet side, which I like. The sashimi were fresh. The sushi was plain; I much prefer Katoreya’s sushi & sashimi.

One of the most upscale sushi restaurants in the west island. Food is excellent, wine menu is well diversified, as well as the spirits. Food oh my God, I can come back every day, but would go broke. High price is justified.

What amazing sushi! And goizas omg! Everything is delicious. Not to mention the care they take not to cross-contaminate. I'm anaphylaxie to shell fish! Everything was great! From the service to food to atmosphere. A must!

Ginormous menu that keeps you indecisive. In my case this kept me starring over and over again at the sushi menu. A simplified menu would give the incentive to try a Japanese authentic dish instead of trying something were generally already familiar with. Just my opinion. The sushi was good, but I've had better in much more modest places in Montreal. Service was impeccable.

However I need to point out that the bathroom looses points in good hygiene. For such a high class looking restaurant, they need to improve on that. This probably isn't the case all the time but first impressions matters.
