Maison Indian Curry

I love your food, it tastes so delicious and natural, I love your naan and curry, but I don't like paneer chilli

J'y ai mangé avec un groupe de personnes (40 environ). Plusieurs plats disponibles à partager pour tous les goûts. Tout était bon et épicé! Par contre, on nous a demandé au moins 5x si nous étions prêts à commander en 10minutes et une fois la commande passée, il était difficile d'arrêter un/e serveuse pour demander de l'eau!

While the food is good for the price, the waitress here was extremely rude. Hard pass with so many other equally good options on this street.

Je visite ce restaurant depuis plus de 12 ans. Toujours la même qualité. J'adore.
Notez que la langue anglaise est utilisée mais on reussi toujours à se faire comprendre car les menus sont dans les 2 langues.

One of the worst restaurant, food had too much colour in that even washing hands with soap it was not going.
Service was so bad one who attended us was so rude.

I love Indian food but this place is not professional, the staff are too lazy and I don't know why no one there smile to clients, the food is okay but the place is dirt

Nourriture de très grande qualité, à des prix tout à fait raisonnables. Grand choix de plats traditionnels et spécialisés, avec des aliments frais et bien travaillés. Service plutôt désordonné et aléatoire (les plats arrivaient pêle-mêle, mélangés et à tout moment), mais personnel sympathique.

TLDR: Mediocre thali, but expected for this price range.

Wanted to have a good Indian cuisine, after being dissatisfied by few others, so we followed the reviews for Maisson curry and this one turned out to another disappointment.

We ordered thali and everything on the plate felt like it was old. The tandoori chicken was so dry inside and the meat felt old, felt like they heated it in microwave. The butter chicken was as sweet as a dessert. The salad was so dry, it felt like it will go bad the very day.
The worse part was the veggie kurma, they literally used frozen veggies, how’d I know? Cause I use the same damn thing for my soups at home. It’s the exact same carrot pieces you find in frozen supermarket veggie pack.
The only positive side is that it’s extremely affordable - so I guess at the end of the day, you get what you pay for.
We also wanted to take some food for dinner but decided against it after loosing our appetite.

No hard feelings to other folks here who gave good ratings, maybe we had a bad experience. But to everyone reading this - please this is not how Indian cuisine is… don’t judge the food by Maison’s standards.

The only problem with the restaurant in summer is it has no AC. Otherwise service is super fast, food is very good in terms of taste, quality and quantity. I had garlic and paneer naans, I would recommend garlic naan it's amazing; paneer is good too but too filling you cannot eat much and paneer overcomes taste of curries. I had chicken madrasi, loved it a lot! It was spicy though and my friend couldn't have it, but I recommend for anyone who can take spice. Mango lassi quantity for price was the best I found in Mtl, and it was very yummy and refreshing. Must have with any meal. Also had Fish dopiaza and pulao rice. Not exactly what I expected of a dopiaza OR pulao, but my friend liked it. It's not spicy and has less of a curry like taste. The pulao rice was too basic to pay extra; not worth it. Rather get plain rice or naan. Will be visiting here again, will update on more items!

Very good place for Indian food.taste is good and not that spicy. Fast and attentive service. Casual atmosphere. Update. Visited 6 years later and glad they are maintaining the same quality as usual. Great taste as always.

I lived in Toronto. But, I can bet that not a single restaurant can beat the taste of food and price of food. Must visit place.

Ordered Sikh kabob with naan. The stuff was so bland, you could do better with frozen Indian box from the frozen isle in the super market down the road. Waitress brought the food and never seen her again till she brought the check. Stay away!

Worst service, even the food is not tasty, too much salty. The waitress are not aware about their customer what they want. They move here and there without giving attention to customers.

This Indian restaurant is simply excellent! I've always had a soft spot for Indian cuisine, and I couldn't have been happier with what they served us. Curious to explore the full range of flavors, I ended up ordering a variety of their appetizers and they were absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and the dishes came out of the kitchen quickly, making the whole dining experience even better. The staff was incredibly sweet and eager to help, offering recommendations with big smiles. Without a doubt, this place has easily made its way into my top 5 favorite Indian restaurants!

J'ai pris un thali avec du curry d'agneau et c'était vraiment inpéccable! Le poulet tandoori était très juteux, une vraie pépite. Je vous conseille très fortement ce resto! J'y reviendrai très bientôt ça c'est sûr.
