A big Thank you to John, and Alexander Kalil for installing the flooring on our Mezzanine. John was very clear and detailed in his explanations, the pricing was competitive. They are both very hard workers, and the end result is very nice. We are very pleased to have trusted Majestic Floors for our project. We highly recommend them for your flooring needs.

I requested a quote from Majestic floors. The price was alittle more than another company but felt comfortable with the interaction and knowledge John had. I hired them to sand my livingroom/diningroom and my staircase to upstairs and refinish for a natural look. John and his son Alex arrived on time and went to work sanding beached and very heavy coats of old shellac. Sanding, sealing and 2 top coats took 4 days. The livingroom came out beautiful, but the staircase not as nice because the quality of the wood that was used when the house was built was not the best. Even freshing finished, they lacked luster.
John and Alex returned after I expressed that perhaps a third coat with a gloss finish would help. They returned and applied a third coat without question. Its nice to know that you are dealing with a company that cares about your satisfaction. They protect your space and clean up after. Very satisfied with the outcome.

Great experience and I’d definitely recommend them to friends and family. Displayed great teamwork.

Do not hire this company.
I wouldn’t trust other reviews. I can provide proof through photos. The work provided by John Khalil and Alex is simply subpar and lazy. I hired John to sand and stain the floors of my newly purchased home and the final result is simply unacceptable. Plenty of areas around the house are still rough to the touch. They sanded the railing but forgot to sand under it. They sanded the staircase but didn’t sand under the step. They will leave bootprints all over your house. And the best part, they’ll put that responsibility on you. They’ll tell you that you need to tell them what they missed so they can re-do the work. The first time they finished my house, they left two massive stains in the middle of the living room floor (see pic below). When I called them to complain, at first they told me “it’s just how the wood took the stain there…”. They finally agreed to redo the whole floor. My wife and I just got married and were heading off to our honeymoon so my father in law would be there while they re-did it. When we got back, we saw that they did only half the room as there are clearly two shades where it separated into the dining room. Missed spots here and there, work simply not done or forgotten and the responsibility put on the client to “point these things out”. Kept being told that these were just touch-ups. When I finally got John to my house 3 WEEKS later and confronted him about all this, I asked for PARTIAL refund as the work did not meet any real standards for a professional. He threw a fit, stormed out of house, slammed my door and then had the gall to ask when we would like him to return and re-do the work. I think they must be nuts if they think I’d let them come back for a third time where I’d now have to temporarily move out to allow them to correct more mistakes. Spend your money elsewhere. Unprofessional and simply not good. I would give zero stars if I could.

I recently had the hard wood flooring on my second story repaired and refinished. I would like to thank John and Alexander Kalil for all of their hard work. They were so helpful and reassuring through the whole process, and did a great job! I am very pleased with the result. They were on time, on schedule, professional, friendly, and just very nice guys!

Fantastic Job!
We recently moved to this house and asked them to change the floors since they were too old and you could hear cracking all over.
They did the floors for the bedrooms, dining + living room and the stairs and everything is just like Brand New.
Not only they are professional but Honest, Trustworthy and they became part of our family.

I had a wonderful experience with Ruskins Thomas. He was profession and friendly. I felt respected and he listened to what I wanted. My floors were a total mess (nails, staples, glue, wax.) but he magically restored them (as well as my stairs) to a beautiful state. I could not be more thrilled with the results. Highly recommend.

I had my floors sanded and had them do a natural satin finish. I was very satisfied with the work and their professionalism. Definitely recommend their work.

A great job! Strongly recommended! I had some dents on the floor afterwards from moving the furniture around and called the owner, Dennis Marcus, to request advice on how to remedy the situation. He reassured me that the scratches and dents were repairable and did so at a very reasonable price. Therefore, not only do you receive a great job, but when accidents arise, you can always count on Dennis to follow up and resolve the issue. Once again, strongly recommended!

Had my all my floors sanded stain and varnished, as well as my staircase and railings.
The work done by Ruskins Thomas was very impressive. I had a tight deadline to finish the job and he showed dedication and passion while working.

Go with a more reputable company or you'll get what you wish you didn't pay for.

They would cancel or postpone without notice.

They made promises about the job that they completely ignored.

They managed to tear chunks out of my hardwood when sanding and did nothing to fix the new holes.

They left giant gaps unfilled after I had directly, and repeatedly, asked them to fill them in.

I asked them to re-secure loose boards before the job had even started and they assured me that they would fix them and then didn't.

The final result looked lifeless and bland, and I can't believe it was the coating/treatment that they recommended.

I fully regret doing business with them. They were lazy, inconsistent, and outright lied to me.

The team from Majestic Floors carried out the sanding, staining and varnishing very well. They arrived on schedule and completed their work in less than a day. George, the leader, is friendly and engaging and explained everything to my satisfaction. I am happy with the results and experience.

Really fast, and high quality work. The process was dustless and the smell was almost non-existent, and so quiet that our baby napped through the sanding! Really happy with the results.

Beware of this company. Majestic is not a flooring company with equipment and employees. They act as brokers only and are completely unreliable and unprofessional. They don't return calls, don't respect delays, show up late and even walked away from the job leaving us to scramble and find someone else to finish. If I could give them a big 0 (ZERO) star review, I would.
