I hired Yelena to do makeup for my bridesmaids and I for my wedding. Despite my lack of makeup knowledge she answered all my questions and helped me decide on what I want my wedding makeup to look like. On my day, she was professional, calm and so kind! I was unable to do a trial, but Yelena gave me the most incredible natural soft bridal makeup! 10/10 recommend for any event/ photoshoot.

Yelena was absolutely wonderful. She did such a lovely job on my bridal makeup - I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! My skin was unbelievable, as someone who doesn’t typically wear foundation she used the perfect amount of coverage to complement my skin type and it was so comfortable to wear. I levelled up for sure! She also did my mom’s and sister’s makeup as well. Mom had never had her makeup done professionally before and she felt and looked so beautiful. Yelena my makeup for my wedding, as well as my 3 bridesmaids and my mother and MIL, and she did an incredible job! Everyone looked great and we were done with time to spare, and she was a pleasure to work with. I had originally booked her for May 2021 but due to COVID we had to reschedule for a year later and she made that process easy and painless. As someone who doesn’t wear much makeup I didn’t have many ideas, but she understood what kind of look I was going for and executed in beautifully! Yelena did my and my wife's makeup for our wedding pictures, and she did a fabulous job! My wife and I were looking for different things - she wanted subtle makeup and I wanted long lashes and the whole bridal treatment. Yelena was able to capture this perfectly for both of us. I went to Yelena when she had her practice setup in Vancouver, and what's really great about her, is that she educates you while she does her magic. She tells you what products really work with your skin type! I have recommended her many times and will continue to do so!

:) Feeling more confident! I began my lesson with Yelena, not feeling comfortable with makeup application. I expressed to her my desire to learn more about eyeliner and blush. I am now feeling self-assured in how to practice wing eyeliner and blush application, and so much more! I know which brushes to use, which colours suit my complexion, and I left with a fully detailed list of the products she used. One aspect I enjoyed is that she photographed me during different stages. We tried various colours of lipstick, and now I have photos to return too when I want to try a different colour. I would high recommend Yelena!

I had the pleasure of working with Yelena for my wedding in August 2018 and can't say enough about her professionalism, calming demeanor, and trained eye for beautiful natural-looking makeup. We first did a trial, which I highly recommend as in my case we decided to make some changes which I was really happy with in the end. I then ended up making some last minute changes (semi-permanent lashes and spray tan the day before) - which she rolled with like a pro! My bridal party were also a variety of shades and tones and all turned out great, and while my hair and dress had worn in from a long day of rain.my makeup still looked great at the end of the night!
