Meilleur restaurant indien en ville! Ça paie pas de mine mais c’est délicieux et j’adore l’ambiance très familiale. Beaucoup d’habitués sont dans la salle, c’est un signe indéniable que la cuisine et le service sont au top! Le service est très rapide aussi, ils sont vraiment bien rodés! On y retournera les yeux fermés! Seul inconvénient c’est qu’on ressort de là avec la pandémie craquement pleine! Difficile de conduire ensuite

Le meilleur au Québec je dirais! Lorsque moi et ma conjointe avons la chance d'aller seul au restaurant pour nous 2, c'est le restaurant que nous choisissons!

Comment dire.

J'ai voulu essayer un nouvel endroit, parce que j'ai fait le tour, et plus d'une fois, de tous les restaurants indiens de la rue Jean-Talon ouest. J'ai été infidèle à mes restos préférés, et je l'ai regretté!

La bouffe est correcte sans plus et n'est pas égale d'un plat à l'autre (légumes korma et riz étaient bons, poulet au beurre ne goûtait que la sauce tomate en boîte, les pois chiches tout mous étaient frais sortis de la canne, le palak paneer est servi sans paneer.)

J'aurais peut-être trouvé le tout plus savoureux si ça avait été servi avec ne serait-ce que l'ébauche d'un sourire, mais on dérangeait clairement le serveur et on ne pouvait pas poser la moindre question. On nous a servi une bière non identifiée (il ne voulait pas nous dire ce que c'était) qui goûtait la pisse à 8$ le bock.

Bref, de la bouffe insipide et de l'alcool à peine buvable dans un décor qui a l'air d'un back store où il faut en plus se taper la télé.

Un genre de bouiboui qui dépanne et où je serais bien contente de manger si c'était abordable. Or, l'addition a été de 75$ à deux, et on n'a rien pris d'extravagant. Une grosse déception. Je mange mieux et pour bien moins cher que ça au Chand Palace, au Bombay Mahal, au Dosa Pointe.

Cet endroit ne vaut pas le déplacement et je ne vois pas pourquoi Catherine Deneuve y aurait mis les pieds.peut-être qu'elle cherchait son chemin ou avait besoin d'utiliser les toilettes. WHO KNOWS.

Rien d'exceptionnel, saveurs correctes. Service sans aucun sourire, on a l'impression de les déranger.

Very authentic indian cuisine (I went with indian friends), very tasty, good prices, good amount of food, diverse dishes in the menu, overall I recommend this restaurant. (amazingly, there is no nuts in their dishes/for those who have allergies).

The food was not bad, but overall not great. I like Indian food at many many places. Here the nan was rubbery, the minced chicken was a bit dry, the spinach dish was good but looked nothing like the picture on the web site, and overall, I will not order from here again.

So far the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to in Montreal. The samosa is very flavorful, and not too spicy. So are two sauces served on the table. We ordered curry lamb and korma beef with mild spicy. The owner came over during the meal asking if the spicy level to our satisfaction. I saw some comments saying that the owner is not friendly and patient. It could be that he was very busy at that time. Because we had same impression when we called the restaurant, the person asked the phone was not patient. But, when we got there, we saw that he is very busy. And he was patient when he explains the menu for us. We will highly recommend.

Wow! C'est la nourriture et boissons les plus délicieux que j'ai goûté dans ma vie!

Great little spot. The owner is very friendly. The staff is amazing. The food is phenomenal. Must try!

Food was tasty - especially the goat - but the welcome was far from warm. We also waited 45 minutes to order. They do a brisk takeout/delivery service, and like everywhere, seem to lack staff. I got the feeling Mr Malhi isn't keen on people eating in the restaurant.

Malhi Sweets prepared the food for 28 guests. The food was fabulous, the service impeccable and ready on time as promised. All of my guests were impressed by the quality and taste.

Petit restaurant sur rez-de-chaussée. L'intimitée pas grande mais nourriture savoureuse. Juste assez épicé. Il n'y a pas de riz qui vient avec le thali mais tu peux en commander extra. Pas de sauce raïta pour aller sur la salade. Serveur gentil mais nous parle un peu trop. Sur au moins 10 restaurants indiens, celui-ci était le meilleur et je ne suis pas facile à plaire!

Poulet au beurre liquide, poulet sec. Le naan était bon mais sans plus. Première et dernière fois que j’y vais.

Un des sinon pas le meilleur restaurant de bouffe indienne a montreal! J’y ai mangé plein de fois jamais déçu je recommande 100%

Beef Biryani was absolutely terrible. It tasted like tomato rice with old beef. The server was also really rude. Really disappointed, I was expecting better. My friend had the same opinion.

The lamb kebabs were delicious!
The fresh hot naan were so good!
Wasn’t impressed with their gulab jamun or their Chana masala- they were still good, but not as amazing as their kebabs!

If I could give a zero. I definately would…. The food was super salty…. I ordered shahi paneer and it’s really obvious that shahi paneer have some sweetness, but this one is just spicy and salty…. Allo tikki was full of salt…and pakoras are super hard…like I’m biting a rock…would never recommend…and never gonna order again from this place.

Juste une chose! Le patron faut qu'il arrête de faire le service à la clientèle! Faut qu'il ait aucun contact avec les clients! Il est vraiment pas fait pour ça! C'est insultant

C'est VRAIMENT excellent.
Le propriétaire est souvent débordé et le service s'en ressent par contre mais on le voit bien intentionné. L'important dans ce genre d'établissement, je pense, c'est la nourriture et à ce chapitre on est vraiment bien servis.

Commande effectuée sur UberEats: tout est arrivé rapidement. C'était bien emballé et très chaud. On a adoré les 4 plats et les accompagnements. J'ai apprécié pouvoir choisir le niveau d'épicé des plats. Les naans un peu spongieux mais très bons. C'était vraiment un festin. J'ai hâte d'aller sur place.

They even charge you for the water without telling you, make sure you ask for the bill and has the water removed.

Ask donation instead of these cheap tricks!

I would like to give 0 star but there is no option. The food was good but the restaurant owner was very rude. He spoke very rudely. I will never go again.

The worst place. Very bad service. They don't know how to talk to the customer and they serve water bottles which they charged later and earlier said that it was included. Worst experience ever. Don't ever visit this place. You will be disappointed.

Best Indian restaurant in Montreal. Don't expect to get treated like a vip, owner is honest and gives a decent service but you need to understand he's busy since he's the only one serving.

SINCÈREMENT, À MON AVIS, LE RESTAURANT: (MALHI SWEETS) EST SANS L'OMBRE DE DOUTE, C'EST LE MEILLEUR RESTAURANT INDIEN À MONTRÉAL THAT'S IT THAT'S ALL ET LE DÉBAT EST TERMINÉ. LEUR TIKKA MASSALA ET PAIN NAAN SONT TOUT SIMPLEMENT INCROYABLES!

On a commandé. Et mangé à la maison.

Biryani was tasty! Chicken tasted fresh and moist.

Should give some yoghurt (Raita) or green sauce with the biryani

Worst experience ever in terms of Indian restaurants in Montreal.
1) extremely rude host
2) no authentic taste.
3) poor packing technique.
Don’t call your self Indian restaurant if you can’t be nice to Indian customers

À vrai dire le service et l'accueil laisse béton pas appréciée encore une fois.je viens dépenser je ne sais pas ce qu'ils ont si c'est le Covid ou la Crise financière pour certain! Mais le service zéro barré! Mon repas était passable. J'ai essayé leur fish pokora bof. Cependant le Seekh Kabab de poulet légèrement salé sinon passable mais peu mieux faire. A mon avis même Catherine Deneuve et L'honorable Justin Trudeau ne serons pas ravis de la tournure de ce restaurant.un avis honnête et juste quand à moi je vais éviter.

Receptionist don’t know how to talk to people! Such a rude response from receptionist about dine in info over the phone. He didn’t even asked if we want take out or not, instead he hung up

Food was good but did not appreciate service. It was below standard and bcse of the waiter. Manager was nice. When they were serving our food, the waiter got confused as to who ordered what, we could see he was a bit upset. After eating, we wanted some carry bags. The waiter gave us the bags and we had to pack the food ourselves. They might have been overwhelmed by the size of the group. We were 14.

This place made me love Indian food! We live in the east end of the city, but always take the detour to come here for Indian food. We ordered the veggie pakoras, shahi paneer, butter chicken and lentil daal. Everything is so delicious, fresh and well seasoned of course

Excellent food and affordable. The butter chicken and chicken Tika are mind blowing. I prefer the take out option as the inside of the restaurant is a little bit small and could be crowded very fast. If in confinement you are dreaming about Indian food this is the place to order.

My favorit indian restaurant by far! Tryed many other places and different citys Toronto, Ottawa and Montréal and non is as good as Malhi sweets.always go back there and the staff is super Nice and friendly!

Premièrement ce restaurant est insalubre. Deuxièmement la nourriture n'est pas bonne. Pour avoir essayé plusieurs restaurants indiens à Montréal et avoir séjourné en Inde, je ne vous le recommande pas. Troisièmement le service est exécrable. Ce restaurant s'est joint à divers services de livraison mais ils ne savent pas comment ça fonctionne. Nous avions commandé et payé en ligne. Quand nous nous sommes présentés la commande n'était pas faite et ils ne nous croyaient pas qu'on avait payé en ligne. Nous lui montrions la commande sur le téléphone et le patron détournait les yeux pour ne pas voir notre commande. Il nous a dit qu'on lui donnait mal à la tête. Il a fallu appelé la compagnie de commande en ligne pour finalement avoir notre repas. Une soirée on ne peut plus manquée.

We ordered via Uber Eats: The Tandoori Chicken was pretty good, we enjoyed that. However the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Korma were very liquid (no thickness) and while we specified Medium spicy it had zero spicy, so it just tasted like tomatoes, we also ordered Basmati Fried Rice but it looked like steamed white rice. It was rather a disappointing experience and I wouldn't order from again.

J'ai commendé un Shahi Paneer & pour dire vrai c'était acceptable. J'ai également goûté a leurs Thali Végé encore acceptable sans plus:)

Today I bought sweet (gulag jamun) and it smell like hell, like something die in jar where they put these. Will never buy anything again.

Last night was the first time we came to that fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had great time with the generous service, with the finest cooking and fine drinks and with the modest pay. We will surely return there again.

Amazing Indian food at great price! If you are a beginner in this cuisine, this is where to try for the first time! Very clean!

I love Indian food and this place is the real deal. The food is authentic and so tasty! I've tried many dishes and they've all been succulent. The service is also very good. I highly recommend.
