Tasty! The fillings of the dumplings are large and fragrant, and the dumpling wrapper feels a bit like the northern shaomai wrapper. It is slightly Qy and tastes good. I highly recommend the mutton and coriander! ! ! Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary to order the spicy and sour wontons. It’s more worthwhile to bite the bullet and pay a little more to order more dumplings.
The fried dumplings with pork, leek and shrimp that I ordered were crispy, fragrant, tender and juicy, very delicious, and the boss’s skills are amazing! There are parking spaces and they are free. However, the exit is under construction at the time and there is only one exit. It may take some time before it can be merged into the main road.
Another no-doubt and to-go restaurant! Full of customers and lined up crazy! Juicy and flavorful just on point! Really traditional to the bones! I love when the grandpa in the kitchen heard we wanted some garlic, he threw a whole garlic on the table! He truly brought me back home omg….
Mid-tier dumplings, cooked well but the filling wasn't too good. We ordered 15 pieces of the chef's choice, 10 pieces of the pork, shrimp, and coriander, hot and sour soup, and a small portion of the peanut dumplings, around $40 including tip and tax.
Fast service
Not worth to spend the money here in this economy.
I’ve unfortunately ordered from this place and although I won’t complain about the taste, I’ve fallen victim to some of the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had in my life. Stay away and stay safe.
Ordered from door dash. 2 items totally 30$ missing.dumplings were so closely packed in together that they all stuck together.please package your take outs better
This is the second time this restaurant pulls this kind of stunt on me. There will not be a third… I ordered some dumplings and a soup and when picking up the order I noticed they put a can of 7up in my bag. I informed them I thought there was a mistake and that I had ordered dumplings and hot and sour soup. They non-chalantly mentioned that they were out of soup and instead had replaced my soup with a drink. This without checking with me to either cancel the soup or offer me a more suitable alternative than a worthless can of pop! Keep your pop! Someone who orders soup doesn’t want a soft drink in compensation. So when I expressed my anger with them they checked to see if there was a more appropriate soup they could substitute my hot and sour with and when they came back, it turned out there WAS hot and sour available all along. Shady stuff going on here. Take your business elsewhere. There are great dumpling places available and this one no longer is one after repeated incidents like tonight’s…
If you love dumplings, this is the place to go. They make fresh and delicious dumplings. I usually take out as the place is small and usually full at peak hours. The chicken coriander steamed dumpling is my favorite.
Good dumplings big selection wide variety of flavors and very reasonable prices the only problem is this place is so tiny I think there's three tables inside so it's only good for takeout
Love this place! So many options and the dumplings tasted amazing! I went with 5 other people and we were able to try many different types of dumplings! Definitely recommend!
I really loved this. I got the lamb and shrimp and it exploded with flavourful- literally. I just wished their mixed one could come pork free. Only being able to try one option at a time makes me a little sad.
Edit: after a second visit I found you can make a mixed plate of 5 of one dumpling and 5 of another for 50 cents. I'm sold. I will eat here every time I'm in town.
Great dumplings! Even better than Sammi Soup dumplings downtown. However, they might be understaffed for the current demand of good dumplings. I passed by on a Tuesday afternoon and they were packed. People had to wait outside to get their orders.
The worst food I ever had. The dumplings were so tasteless. I never thought this food will turn out to be so bad. Noodles are just boiled in water no sauce no veggies at all. Really disgusting food. Disappointed so much.
I don't understand how this restaurant got 4 stars review. I ordered a wonton soup and the peanut butter sauce dumplings. Maybe people who got this restaurant good rating never had good Asian food? The soup was legit the worst wonton Ive ever had. I could have just dump 2 spoons of crunchy peanut butter on my dumplings and it would have taste the same. Plus it's overpriced and it took 1h15 minutes to get my food. Avoid. Hope I don't get sick
Best dumplings in Montreal. There is a second branch on the South Shore, but I prefer this one. I already tasted Din Tai Fung Toronto branch and it could not compare to this Mama Dumplings shop. Keep up the good work!
