Marché Atwater

Nice little market place. During the summer, the produce selection is nice and there are food trucks from plenty of different restaurants. During the cold season, though, there's virtually no produce (lots at Jean Talon market but not here) so you can basically only buy meat and cheese. Also the bathrooms are always so dirty.

Marche couvert très bien achalandé. Très intéressant pour acheter de la viande.
Très cosmopolite.fréquentation importante.

J’y vais parfois quand je peux bien grand beaucoup de choix de nourriture etc mais par contre j’aime plus ou moins le dépanneur

Beautiful place even though very few stores are operating, outside there is a great sale of Christmas trees and other beautiful decorations, Good prices!

I think, Marche Atwater, is one of the best places that you can find every thing there such as kinds of foods, bread, fruits, flowers, cheeses, and so on, I love there

Really enjoyed my time here, the market is wonderful and there are multiple vendors with lots of great stuff. The produce in particular was GREAT - easily the best strawberries and blueberries I've ever had, and pretty well priced too

Petit marché couvert fort sympathique, avec une mention spéciale pour la boulangerie sont les viennoiseries étaient succulentes!

Les prix sont parfois vraiment élevés. D'autres fois vous trouverez un bon rapport qualité-prix. Il faut donc faire le tri.

The market is nice but a lady tried to charge way too much for a regulator size pumpkin. I got one the same size and quality at Super C for less than half the price.

Marche Atwater is a pretty decent market to buy fresh produce, breads, cheese & meat. The prices are great and the vendors accept card payments on minimum spend.

The only downside in my point of view is that I couldn't find eggs here but otherwise it's an absolutely great place to stock up for the week.

It's easily accessible by public transport too - approx 6mins of walk from the Lionel Groulx metro station.

This is an indoor market. Lots of cheese and butchers and coffee. It also has premiere moisson located inside. Very nice and places to sit down and eat.

Sympathique et convivial. On s'y sent effectivement bien. Les produits sont un peu chère mais de qualité.

A great market to walk to just off the Lachine Canal to buy Fish, farm-freah corn, tomatoes, apples, Niagara peaches etc

Marché public. Environnement extraordinaire le long du canal. C’est là où j’achète mon sapin de Noël. De bons cafés. Large éventail de produits frais.

Je le place en 2em position après un autre marché de Montréal. Information importante: peu ou presque pas de stationnement disponible et celui-ci sera payant si vous arrivez à trouver.

Nice local producers and specialty food shops.some items are cheaper than the Jean-talon market.but both markets are great beause they seem authentic by producers.

Sure the price little bit high then the other magazines in Montreal but here you find Quality.
They have huge plant markets during summer.

Went in October and their selection of pumpkins was enormous! Great place to catch lunch or shop for food.

My first time visiting Marche Atwater, it’s clean and tidy! Love the small restaurant outside the market. Good vibes and have lots of seating outside. Highly recommend if you are looking for fresh vegetables, great steak, good pasta and garden flowers!?

Tradicional market with many options of local products. Close to the Lachine channel is a must visit place when in Montreal specially during the summer!

An incredible foodie shopping experience with completely inadequate washroom facilities. No where near enough washrooms for the size of this place makes it frustrating to go and shop here.

La boucherie de Tours: Ah! A quel bonheur d'avoir pu retourner à ma boucherie préférée et voir découper mes filets mignons sur mesure.et ma mayonnaise. Tiens.voilà du boudin! Voilà du boudin.voilà du boudin.

It was nice. I really believe that these artisans are the real thing. A little pricy for something you may be able to find at a supermarket but I think that your paying for their lives of their craft.

The best spot near downtown to have a true market experience. The ready to eat selection varies from seafood, smoked brisket and ribs to smoothies and nuts. They have a great variety of floral and plant stalls come spring time to get that patio ready. Fresh local fruit and veggie stalls. There is also a bakery, butcher and cheese shop within the same market. We go there once a weekend in the warmer seasons, it's a must try experience by the canal.

Everything in there is great! Coffee place, sausage, paté, cheese, etc.

Great stop for when biking around with friends in the summer

We are trying to go there weekly to support local shops and farmers.
We mostly pick up fresh vegetables. There are a couple of organic options too. We also regularily buy fresh fish there. Shops are clean and there is a good variety of food. There is purell at all entrances and customers are required to wear a mask. I would however suggest to go early in the morning to get first pick on the goods and avoid the crowd.

C'est mon endroit préféré pour l'alimentation, on y trouve de tout: une SAQ sélection, un magasin spécialisé en fromages et des boucheries bio. De plus un très grand stationnement où il y a toujours de la place à proximité.

Un marché couvert dans un batiment très bien restauré. Les prix sont en général très chers car il s'agit plus de boutiques rassemblés sous la forme d'un marché que d'un marché!

Great place to relax while doing groceries.

Christmas market was fabulous. Great food trucks, maple on ice, local crafts and great entertainment for the kids. Santa was also there ;)

Aside from the Christmas market this place is great for local maple products, dairy, vegan and fresh produce. It’s also heated in winter.

I guess if you're never been to a market with fruits and vegetables and cheese then this place is impressive. I was bored in about two minutes. It's also crowded and there's a lot of tourists and the locals are clearly annoyed by the tourists. I went to many of the stalls and I bought random overpriced stuff like honeycomb and honey pastilles and nuts and pastries and Malaysian food and coffee. But there was nothing special or unique about any of those items. In fact the coffee was below average and the ingredient list for the pastilles was a little scary.

There's a public bathroom here but it's not very clean.

The whole place seems to be 4 pastry shops and 5 butchers. Poor selection at high prices due to suffixes. It isn't ham, it's ham "bourgeois" or whatever. Pretentious, too busy. Pass.
