I used to have a good relation with the place. Friendly employees, good samosas, had a good deal on fresh bread (not anymore), close to my place. I was a frequent regular.
But today i turned the corner and saw (who i think is) the owner assaulting a well known locally, very sweet and polite, homeless old man who was sitting by his business.not obstructing, not bugging anyone, not making any messes, not causing problem, always nice to people. And i saw the owner kick his backpack away, kick his goblet of pocket change, pulling him away and shouting at him to go away. One of those time i wish i had my phone on me to record that owner's action and call the police.

Very appalling display, which will guarantee me never having business with them ever again. There's lot of grocery stores in the area with better deals and selections anyway, and now there's a new convenience store that recently opened really close to there on Prince-Arthur.

Someone said not to order from this store via uber eats to which i must ask your generation HOW FKN LAZY ARE YOU!? !? !? ! This store is great, gen-z is broken however lol.

Not bad, there is a lot of selection, but it can get expensive very quickly with the most basic items.

Experience mediocre, service plustot nul.j'ai acheter une caisse de douzes dirrectement du frigo avec mes derniers bidous pis la beer etait chaude, ensuite j'ai demander 3 fois pour mon paquet de smoke pis le caissier ma donner finalement le mauvais paquet, j'ai donc decider de retourner pour echanger mon paquet mais le caissier na rien voulu entendre.meme le bum en avant de l'epicerie etait plus symphatique que le service que j'ai recu au marche brito.non merci pour moi c'etait la derniere fois.mort au capital.

The staff here is really nice. I recommend the samosas, I get them all the time and they are the most inexpensive and yummy samosas ive encountered. Best part is they have yerba mates that are stocked more often then the dep closer to me. I'll always walk the extra block for this place because I know I'll be treated well.

DO NOT order with Uber eats. They get your order wrong and when you choose to get a refund when an item is unavailable they completely ignore it

First off I really like the staff and owner that run this place.
Am only giving three stars as it seems by the time I arrive home with my shopping something is always not right.
Today I bought a boxed six pack of IPA Des Côtés for a guest - and there were only 5.
Previously I’ve purchased a 2L Diet Pepsi which literally tasted like baking soda mixed with water.
Have also purchased an Allo vape which had a dead battery - ok - so I was cool about it - these things happen - only to buy a second one and it also had a dead battery.
It’s a great shop - just make sure you are getting what you are paying for BEFORE paying.

This dep has seen me at my worst.very rarely at my best but i walk by it when i am at my best so i guess you can say this dep has seen me in my full range of emotions and versions.i have come here in pajamas, in going out clothes, and also in regular outfits because sometimes the mundane and simple things in life are what make life worth living.the ramen prices were insane one week but then they changed back to normal.i have gotten many a bottle of cheap wine from here while running late for a dinner party and everyone knows i got it from brito! I have also gotten many an overpriced can of seltzer but i will not complain about my lack of planning and inability to go to the SAQ during the day.im not even that busy i am just lazy but some days i am that busy!
