Please if you don’t want to get poisoned, don’t shop there. Most of the products are expired, and they still keep them on the shelves. I got a box of dates, the dates were moldy. Someone should report them.

If they make mistake in the price, they ll fight you if you ask them about it.
There is one man in the staff who is making a lot of trouble in the store, he is always in the cashier and he is very rude. He looks very angry and ready to fight. I went there many times and he is always like this. I don't knwo what he is doing there.

Great little store, inexpensive fruits and veggies. Save at least a roller per celery compared to grocery stores right beside.

When it comes to groceries this is my first option. It is the closest place there is in park Ave where you can find eastern (Persian, Arab, etc) grocery. Despite its small space it has a good variety of items on popular categories like meat, bread, rice, jam, honey, etc. Also there is good variety of fruits and they are almost always fresh. The owner and cashiers are very friendly and gentle. I guess I could complain about the prices of some items, but again when it comes to groceries it's my first option.

Great for halal meat. Don't accept credit card and some staff is rude.

I have been going to this place for close to two years now. It's the only store I know of that sells great halal meat. There's lots of other food options here including teas and middle eastern sweets.

But some of the staff here is unfriendly and condescending.especially to international students I think.

My experience has been mostly positive except for my interactions with a certain tall middle aged person who wears glasses. He certainly must hate his job. I once didn't have cash on my debit card and he just put my shopping basket away, no communication.

And they don't take credit cards for payment.

Je n'y vais que pour des fruits et d'occasionnels produits moins locaux. Les prix sur la marchandise est bien mieux que les autres marchés à proximité. Il y a souvent une pénurie dans la section des produits laitiers mais la section fruits et légumes est toujours pleine à craquer.

Simply the best veggies & fruits place in the Mcgill ghetto - if you're into that green stuff. The quality is always good and the prices are very reasonable. Your pay a fraction of what your would at the super market down the street.

Cheap fresh produce, conveniently located, quite a few cheap staples with huge varieties of choices (dried cereal/flours, bread products). Has St. Viateur bagels.

Vegetables and fruits are que cheap, mostly because they dont look perfect or are well ripe. Still worth it! Also a good selection of middle East/Mediterranean products (spices, feta cheese, nuts.) and really cheap but close to expiring date pitas.
If you're ready to give some time for some well picked/thought groceries, it's conveniently well placed between the two close grocery stores.

A very nice store with plenty of produce and health food at reasonable prices. They have the best organic vegan chocolate Benjamissimo. The owners and staff are very friendly too. Highly recommended

Love love love this store for its health food options, fresh produce, excellent prices, and classical music.

I feel very comfortable there while shopping and there is just simply no stress and no rush, I can take my time read all the ingredients, calculate prices, weight my produce without someone else waiting around and trying to push me to hurry up.

Great for people who eat very healthy, like I do.

Btw, I found it difficult to find milk that I could heat up in the microwave without it turning into cottage cheese. (that was IGA milk).

But the 2% milk I have purchased at this market, does not curdle and I can finally have my coffee the way I want it in the mornings.

Good variety of fruit, but not the freshest. Employees seem like they hate being there. Customer service is not that good.

Very nice little store for almost all grocery needs. However pleas note that they accept only debit cards (no credit card) and they will charge you 25 cents if your bill is less than 7$.

Great shop for students, cheap prices compared to other shops for vegetables and fruits, in the area. No organic vegetables are sold, as far as I know.

A favourite neighbourhood spot with students and locals, very affordable prices, halal and vegetarian food and a variety of ethnic products.

I am a regular customer there coz they have traditinal food not available elsewhere at that area. Staff ignore customers and keep talking and laughing with each others. Many times staff busy with their phones and keeo customers waiting. Store need full renovation. They forgot we are in 2018-2019, they don‘t accept credit card and will give you that look!

Don't worry, if you've never been here and ask to pay in visa, they'll laugh at you and the staff will speak about you in a different language. Not exactly the friendliest staff.

Worst customer service I have ever come across. The cashiers were blatantly rude, sexist, and unprofessional. Will never be coming back here.
