Très heureuse de la réouverture de La Main après leur sinistre.

La sélection est généreuse, beaucoup d'options santé et des lignes de produits plus dures à trouver.

Les fruits sont toujours délicieux!

Prices are way too high especially for dairy and produce, and much of the product is expired or is about to expire. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Never go to this store again. Owner was very rude when I went there looking for some items. Big violation of consumer rights.

Would prefer to give 0 Stars but not an option.

Update -this store suddenly closed around 3 months ago - the notice on the door says it's due to a fire but there is no evidence of a fire at all and they have no date as to when they expect to reopen. It's very odd but it doesn't look like it's going to re open now at least not with the same ownership.

Prix trop élevé! Un des commis a une attitude désagréable, arrogant et ose te demander c'est quoi ton problème quand l'article scan au mauvais prix.

Some items are expensive and others are cheap if you pay attention!

This store has been closed for at least the last 10 days. There is a sign on the door saying that it is temporary but gives no indication of when they will open again. Yesterday I stopped by to check and although the doors were still locked I could see staff inside working the tills and processing transactions from people inside. It's all very odd.

Assez souvent en rupture de stock sur certains produits. Les horaires d'ouverture sont très bonnes. Très propre. Un peu chère.

Ce n’est malheureusement pas la première fois que j’achète des produits qui, une fois arrivée à la maison, lorsque je les ouvre sont pourris!
D’ailleurs j’ai déjà prévenus les employés que certains produits dans le magasin étaient passé de dates et qu’on voyait de la pourriture ….

Mise à part le fait que les produits sont plus chers qu’en épicerie, qu’il y a des problèmes d’affichage de prix et de produits inconsommables… l’épicerie reste correcte!

Very well organized grocery store. Owner of the store is English speaking and very very helpful. He helped us pick equivalent to USA full fat milk. Also they got quality bread select which we hardly find in USA.

Products are not fresh, or full price nearing or at best before date. Location is good and the staff is very nice hence 2 instead of 1.

This people sells expired goods, when you come back to return them the manger treats you very poorly. Really just a pathetic place!

Choix, qualité et réduction sur les produits qui expirent bientôt (comme la viande de temps en temps et quelques légumes) ça c'est bien. En plus ouvert jusqu'à tard. Ce serait bien d'avoir des grosses bouteilles de soda au frigo et un peu de renouveau dans les choix de bières microbrasseries.

LA Main est une épicerie vraiment élogieux qui revient toute les personnes qui désir magasiner avec la tranquillité d'esprit et es accessible pour touts les goûts dans le cartier.

Update: they changed hands and the meat is no longer as good I don't know why this place has consistently excellent, cheap meat, but it's impressive for a general grocery store! I go there just for the meat!

In town visiting and bought some groceries here with our family. Accidentally forgot to pack up the coffee! A really nice employee chased us down to get us our forgotten groceries. He was super nice - a very kind gesture. Thanks!

Interesting and helpful grocery store with everything that you may need and thensome. A little more expensive but produce is fresh and store is conveniently located right in the heart of the hussle and bustle of the Main!

Be careful they close at 10: 50pm and not 11pm anymore. The closing cashier on the 6th was rude and he did not even care to talk to me. Just kept gesturing me to leave. The people in the morning are super sweet but I never had this experience with them at night before. Maybe because the clubs are open again, so he had a bad day with the increase volume of people but the man definitenely lacked courtesy and kindness.

A lovely and convenient grocery. It is a smaller grocer so they may not have the brands or items you desire, but plenty of selections for a grocery shop.

Edit: I have had an excellent checkout experience each time. There have been more counters open, or the cashier has assisted with bagging, or the cashier has allowed me to finish bagging before serving the next customer. I have added the fifth star, because of the experiences I have had shopping at the "The Main".

Has all the essentials, vegan products are on the pricier side, although they’re open 24/7 so that’s the price for convenience. I love their extensive beer selection.

C'est une petite épicerie de quartier. Les produits coûtent plus chers que Maxi. Le service aux caisses est assez rapide. Il y a toujours malheureusement un itinérant devant l'entrée qui demande de l'argent.

I used to shop here every day, but when the new owners took over it was not as welcoming, the prices were too high and there was not much quality vegetables. Now that George is back running the place it has better produce, more choice, great lunch options, and good prices. I am back to shopping here again. Thanks George.

Lovely place to get groceries. Cheaper than metro/provigo. Produce is always good, meat is presliced at the deli counter. The arrows on the ground make it easy to navigate the store while keeping distance with others. Staff are very helpful. Cashiers always smile and speak english and french. I try to get everything I need from them based on their service

J’ai acheté un article au prix affiché 1.99$ mais 8.99$ à la caisse. Selon la loi d’exactitude de prix il devrait etre gratuit mais ils ont demandé le prix affiché! Le caissier savait rien du tout donc il a appelé le gérant de nuit mais il ne connaissait pas bien la loi nonplus. En plus le caissier est très mal formé et son service à la clientèle c’est 2 sur 10
Du coup je donne deux étoiles sur 5 car d’après moi le service à la clientèle est très très important.

Cette politique prévoit un dédommagement si le prix réclamé à la caisse est plus élevé que le prix indiqué en magasin. Le commerçant doit:

vous remettre le bien gratuitement, si l’article est annoncé à 10 $ ou moins;
vous vendre le bien au prix annoncé, réduit de 10 $, s’il est annoncé à plus de 10 $.

Felt extremely uncomfortable, at least 4 employees were not wearing their masks properly. If management can't get them to wear their masks properly, it makes me wonder if management can get them to wash the on-site kitchen properly, wash their hands properly or clean properly. I don't need to get sick because of them.

Love this grocery store which is open till late. The staff is great and very helpful. Prices are brought up after 9 or 10pm I think

Je n’ai jamais vu un service à la clientèle aussi horrible. L’épicerie est petite et personne n’est jamais en mesure de me dire s’ils ont ce que je cherche (et ce n’est jamais compliqué!). Le week-end, semble-t-il, ils n’ont aucun commis de plancher pour répondre aux questions des clients. Je me déplace souvent pour finalement ne pas trouver ce que je cherche, donc quelques fois j’ai téléphoné avant de m’y rendre. On me répond: “ah oui normalement on en a”. Alors je réponds: “pouvez-vous s’il vous plaît aller voir avant que je me déplace”. Et de me faire répondre: “Désolé, nous sommes trop débordés. ” Pourtant, en arrivant, il y a tout au plus 3 clients dans l’épicerie. Je tiens d’ailleurs à préciser que je n’ai jamais constaté de “rush” à cette épicerie et que je n’ai jamais attendu plus que 3 minutes pour passer à la caisse. Alors je ne comprends pas du tout que le service soit aussi mauvais. Vraiment dommage pour la bannière d’IGA, car je n’ai absolument jamais eu un service aussi misérable dans un IGA (c’est habituellement tout le contraire).

Aussi, les prix sont extrêmement chers pour la qualité des produits (surtout fruits/légumes). Je suis ok avec le fait de payer plus cher lorsque je suis satisfaite des produits et du service, mais c’est loin d’être le cas pour cet endroit.

Dommage car si bien localisé!

Une épicerie de quartier qui remplit sa mission avec professionalisme et écoute des goûts de ses clients. Bons produits bio, sans gluten, végé. Des fruits et légumes frais. En amélioration constante depuis plusieurs mois.

We were really excited to have a new grocery store open its doors within walking distance but have since been consistently disappointed by the quality and price of their produce.

This is our third time returning home with stuff that is completely rotten. Here is a pack of cheese nowhere past the due date yet teeming with mold.

I have no complaints about the service or cashiers.

Most fruits and veggies are also way overpriced.

As convenient as the location is, we won't be coming back here.

Depuis les rénovations (anciennement B&Y), le marché Tradition est d'une extrême propreté. Les étalages sont biens garnis et ordonnés. Il y a toujours de bons spéciaux hebdomadaires. J'apprécie beaucoup le fait que l'endroit n'est pas toujours bondé de gens comme les grandes surfaces (ou des épiceries à rabais et à l'hygiène douteuse du coin - Seg.). Le personnel est super sympathique et toujours le même. Une vraie épicerie de quartier qui offre de tout. On y retourne.

The staff here is like fallen from the moon. Nobody knows anything about specials, rewards, air miles, and, if the cash register is not updated, you get things that are on special at full price.

The "secret" smoke meat adress for locals, you never need to wait outside and the staff doesn't yell at you because they hate their job. The guys across the street can keep Celine and the line up, I'll be eating my sandwich here with a nice beer and smiling staff.

It's new place, early this use to be B&Y. Now here is new market Marche Tradition. They have nicely renovated the place, but still basic structure is same like B&Y. This place is not very crowded. They have kitchen to serve packed food, those are okay and almost same price of Metro grocery. Meat products are cheap and quality are good. I personally come here to buy chicken because of the quality. Metro grocery mix the old meat and fresh meat in package. At least I never encountered this problem in Tradition. Also you have some cheap beer. Veggies are expensive here, tomato to onion, broccoli to eggplant everything veggies items are super expensive.

It was Friday Rewards at Marche Tradition and went downtown (an approx. 1h10 min trip) just to do my groceries here and take advantage of the Air Miles rewards promoted in the flyer. There were 10 special offers with over 290 bonus miles. I wanted to use 4 of them, cumulating 130 Air Miles. At the cash, the scanner only recognized one. The cashier called somebody who, after being shown what was happening, shrugged and told me that if it doesn't work, then that's it! Well, I didn't come all this way on a frosty day (-15°C) to be treated with such indifference! I know the cashier can just enter the Air Miles if they don't show up on the screen - they do this all the time at my local IGA, but here nobody really cared to help me. I left extremely disappointed and with a bitter regret that I didn't go to Marche Tradition St-André, where I usually go whenever they announce such promotions. Serve me right! Next time you won't see me here anymore!

Good for location but limited variety of groceries. Store is clean and tidy, lines are usually short too. Produce section is alright, again limited variety and some under ripe selection but they price accordingly. Really big cheese, meats, and bakery section.

It's a little difficult to find what you need- the layout isn't intuitive, but some good specialty items and pretty extensive beer and wine!

Le parfait spot pour trouver tout ce qu’il ne faut pas dans une expérience d'épicerie. Des allées pleines de plats préparés, processés, emballés en portion individuelle (bonjour la santé et les déchets de plastiques), des prix exorbitants (plus chers que les dépanneurs) et des caissiers les mains dans les poches qui encaissent le paiement mais te laissent te débrouiller pour faire tes sacs en regardant ailleurs avec insistance. Aucun esprit de quartier, aucun service, aucun sourire. Bon sang, est-ce là que le Plateau est rendu?

Le pain tout chaud le matin. Vers 8h30. C est vraiment agréable. J ai goûter le pain rustique. Délicieux.

Excellent spot! A renewed life to a grocery that occupied the place for good number of years! All you ever wanted in a shopping spree at a higher price. Unfortunate that two large windows overlooking the blvd.have been blocked! Modern epicerie! The population in the area not ready for the new trendy prices and time is of essence! Waiting anxiously for the specials of the day and the week! Wish the new owners get to know their clientele residing in the vicinity! 5 stars for content!
