Extremely happy with the professionalism and attention to detail. Extremely well organized and did multiple site visits, both in person and digitally, before moving day to make sure all the details were taken care of so moving day would be nice and smooth. They treated my furniture like it was their own. Set me up in my new house in record time…when they left, it felt like I had been living there already for a year. Thanks again for the help on the move. Was very happy from start to finish.

Excellent service provided by the Martel Express staff in Montreal who packed my shipping container.
Cesar, Jonathan and Gabriel were excellent on all levels.
Arrived on time, very courteous and friendly and worked incredibly hard to get the container loaded in a professional and orderly way.
They also managed the loading and securing of a very large and heavy motorcycle with ease.
These employees are a real credit to the company and I would highly recommend Martel Express based on this experience

We've used Martel Express for over 25 years. All our moves were a positive experience in Montreal. This latest move was from Montreal to the US after Martel had stored our furniture and 'stuff' for many years, and again, everything went super well. The local movers in the US were very careful, patient and friendly and they handled all the furniture with care.

Everything had been packed up so well many years ago by Martel, and all was in perfect condition (except one small piece of marble). Our stuff weathered your storage facility incredibly well, it's as though they were just packed up last week. I especially appreciated opening the wardrobe boxes with my curtains, which stayed folded over the bar, in place perfectly all this time. It feels good to see our belongings again!

We were referred to Martel express and could not be happier about the experience. Matt’s team planned the move well ahead by visiting our house to plan accordingly. The day before the move, they came by for some pre-prep work which reduced our anxiety tremendously and led to a smooth move on the big Day. The team took great care of our materials and possessions, treating the items as if they were their own. I have been lucky to have had this family owed company help me & my family move several times in my life and they always went far and beyond our expectations, very professional and friendly staff. This year however I called on them not for moving services but to see if they'd be able to help a local mental health organization for Christmas and they responded quickly by providing beautifully speciality chocolates for all of our residents to have for Christmas. Honestly what a beautiful gesture and appreciated by all our residents. Highly recommend this company.

Share the Warmth is a non-profit organization in Point St-Charles and every year we do a Holiday Food Drive. In 2020, we were overwhelmed by the amount of food bank delivery requests and our 2 trucks were working long hours to be able to reach our members.
Martel Express kindly offered to help Share the Warmth and go and pick up over 200 boxes of non-perishable food donations. We would have been very stuck without them, and they did it out of the kindness of their hearts and did not charge. They also helped us by storing our tables we use for the community in the summer.
They went the extra mile and collected food to donate to us as well.
They were on time, professional and did not hesitate to offer up their help when we were in need.
Great company, great team - we would highly recommend them.

Imagine this.you leave your New York City apartment in March when the lockdown starts, thinking it would be a few weeks. Fast forward to understanding that our lease is almost over, and we are still in Montreal, unsure about if or when we can go back. Matthew and his team at Martel Express made the cross-border move happen in the midst of the pandemic, and it went so smoothly! The team co-ordinated with us to get access to the apartment, packed and moved all of our belongings. It was a breeze to clear at customs, and it was all delivered intact and without any fuss. Went in to pick up my stored stuff with my wife. The workers were so friendly they gave our girls really nice ice cream bars. The workers helped us load our stuff. It was a really great experience.
