Les poulet curry est délicieux! Plusieurs places assises à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. J'ai moins aimé leur thé spécialité maison.

Visite 1 an plus tard: j'ai pris le tamago sando avec saumon fumé. Correct, mangeable.le saumon fumé a sauvé le sandwich. Les oeufs sortaient à chaque bouchée et le tout était sec à mon goût. Prochaine fois je prendrais le curry, une valeur sûre.

Loved the matcha here! The café ambiance is aesthetically pleasing, perfect for studying and reading as well.

Absolutely love this place, their tamago sando is phenomenal. The karage was also so tender and had a great crunchy coating. It’s also one of the few cafes that has amazing drinks and amazing food! I’m a big coffee nerd and I usually find that places that serve food won’t have quite as good coffee as a dedicated specialty coffee shop. But Osmo does both wonderfully and it’s a treasure! It’s a beautiful place, highly recommend their specialty lattes. The vibes are great for writing or any kind of productivity on your to do list, too.

Delicious sandwiches and a great dirty chai! It can get a bit loud when it’s busy but it’s a fun spot and worth a visit.

I’ve gone here plenty of times and always had a great experience. I came again today and had a barista yell at me gaining the attention of several people around me. I had my bag on a seat next to me waiting for a friend. I was asked to remove it which I did promptly & after I did, one off the staff members spoke to me in a loud and condescending manner. It was unprofessional and unnecessary as I did not hesitate to move my bag and had already apologized. Left shortly after because I was uncomfortable staying in the establishment.

Great casual place with delicious katsu and curry sandwiches or bowls, plus beer sake and wine. Prices are good, and the atmosphere is so hip it makes me feel like a senior citizen.

It’s okay. I think the chicken curry was very delicious, however the portion is small for 15$ which is disappointing. The space is beautiful, not very well cooled though so you might be hot on hotter days there. Iced tea is really nice! The main drawbacks were how packed the place is and how expensive it is for the amount you’re getting. Beautiful place but didn’t find it to be worth the money personally

I tried the karaage sando. It was delicious, the chicken was veryyyyy moist and the seasoning was perfect. The one downside to my visit was that it took 15-20 mins for my sandwiches to come after I ordered but nonetheless, I would definitely come back.

Really nice cafe with great asian eats. Lots of young people with laptops so can be tight to get a spot but worth the wait. The building itself has a cool space vibe but worth being aware they often have DJ's so not always the quietest if that's what you're looking for.

This cafe during the day time is great. The sandos, curry, and coffee never disappoint. But I came here for dinner for the first time it totally hit differently. First, server forgot to give us the accompanying toppings for the beef carpaccio until after we had finished it. Then, our cocktails orders were somehow lost in the system and we didn’t get the drinks until all the dishes had been finished, before the bill was paid. And finally, the popcorn shrimp tempura was a huge disappointment to say the least. The batter coating was nothing like Japanese tempura. It was thick, heavy, smooth-textured, and easily loosened from the shrimps themselves. (See photo) The only similarity it had with Japanese tempura was that it was deep fried. That being said, the decor was cool and the live DJ provided a groovy kick to the ambience. I would come back for the daytime menu and service but not for the evenings.

The place and atmosphere is very nice, also the food and drinks, but the service is very bad, they don't have a good organization. I waited 30 min to get my food and just because I told them.

I went in yesterday Morning around 8: 30-9: 00 am and there was a young woman behind the service counter. She was serving the customer's in front of me perfectly- kindness, clarity and professionalism. However, when I approached her to ask about my LUFA Farms pick up order she was the rudest service person I had ever met. Due to a family emergency I unable to pick up my basket during the scheduled pick up time, so I had called the company and explained and they reassured me that I could pick up my basket the next day. When I asked for it she DENIED me said I missed the pick up deadline. I explained the situation and she again told me no, that unfortunately we don't have your basket. So I ask in the hours that you were closed to now did LUFA come back and take the order if not then the order is here- so please give me my order. Then i tell her that she's just refusing me and not telling me what I can do or my options. She then RUDELY tells me to hold on she'll check. And the most frustrating thing is.she made me wait 10mins while she clearly was avoiding getting my basket. SHE GOES TO GET THE BASKET AND ITS DIRECTLY BEHIND THE COUNTER. She drops the bag on the floor like it's not fresh produce. Her behaviour was so unnecessarily malicious. So I am deeply confused as to why this employee felt entitled to MY PAID for produce or why they gave me such a hard time especially since she knew all along that my bag was there. I will never come back here as this was clearly an attempt of thief and I will be warning everyone I know to stay clear away from this establishments. I'd like to think we have gotten past this in society but I also felt her behaviour was racially charged since the customer's she was so helpful with were not visible minorities like myself. If you don't want to be an area for pick up.then don't offer it and give your customer's hell. I don't understand why this experience was so horrible to begin with.

Went there around lunch time to read a book and have one of their amazing (more than amazing) sando. I usually always get the karaage Sando but this time I opted for the tamago sando and I was not disappointed. The place is very spacious with lots of seating. Good music playing. A bit noisy if you're looking to read or study peacefully without headphones - but a great study spot nonetheless.

Repas café midi. Encore un restaurant qui surfe sur la vague de la gastronomie japonaise sans en livrer la finesse et les saveurs. Ce n’est pas pire qu’un mauvais katsu curry fait au Japon, trop épais et à la friture grasse avec le riz baignant dans du curry sans goût. Il y a une raison pour laquelle les fast-foods de curry au Japon séparent la plupart du riz de la sauce. Places inconfortables, musique plein les oreilles. Le service est ok, ce qui lui vaut une étoile. Je ne testerai pas le soir.

I waited over 30 mins for a sandwich and a curry plate. Underwhelmed by the service! I tipped for takeout and I regret doing so.

The decor and ambiance were 11/10, but the food was a bit disappointing. From the pictures I expected it to taste just like the food in Japan, but it was kind of like the chef had only ever seen pictures. Everything looked perfect but the taste was off. The pickles of the day were just fresh corn and jalapeños swimming in cooking sake. I’ve never had tsukemono like that - I was not a fan.

I’d come back but only for the drinks.

Super hipster vinyl cafe you can enjoy a cup of really great coffee and croissants. I also had their vegan curry and it was delightful!

Only negative: the seats are not the most comfortable if youre staying for long period of time

Mon expérience est en dessous de mes attentes. Trop trop de bruit à cause du volume trop élevé de la musique au point de communiquer difficilement avec les employés pour commander. En plus, les chaises et les tables sont inconfortables, tapageuses et bruyantes. Cependant, un très bon latté et le personnel est courtois. Bref, c'est un endroit qui n'est pas paisible pour travailler et se concentrer. J'espère que les choses s'amélioreront.

Great atmosphere/vibe. The Osmo Fog was very refreshing.

Cool space with a nice vibe and good service. They give you a number after you order and bring the food to your table. The tamago sando was delicious! The bread was soft and slightly sweet, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the fried crust gave them a nice contrast of textures. The bechamel complemented the whole thing very well. Would definitely order again and try other menu items.

The sandwiches are so good. Kind of a weird cafeteria vibe but I enjoyed the good and would definitely go back.

Was recommended to go here from a friend in Toronto, honestly, the vibe was amazing and the space was really nice, very niche and cozy. The breakfast sando tamago was really creamy and heavy- super yummy! The flat white is really good too, had to come back and buy the Pain Au Chocolat and it’s so fluffy and flaky I love it so much! Would’ve gave a 5 stars but the second time I got myself a coffee it was super hot and the shot felt like it was burnt but STILL LOVE IT THO

Love these little cafés, did not disappoint! Really cute and modern.very friendly and helpful staff. But let me tell you about the curry chicken! It was absolutely delicious, super flavorful and the portion was perfect. It definitely hit the spot. A nice comfort meal and the kuragge sandwich was really amazing as well. Beautiful and fresh veggies stuffed inside fresh bread with the chicken.

The staff was really friendly! The food wasn't extraordinary but still good i tried both the tamago and karaage Sando. The coffee jelly was a bit too acidic for my taste but my friend loved it so if you're not a fan of sweet dessert I recommend it:)

Mediocre food (The egg sandwich is not as good as it looks), good coffee and loud ambiance. The real dealbreaker here is the despicable customer service. The lady that took our order – Asian woman with glasses – was extremely unpleasant and just plain rude. I came with a friend for a coffee/lunch date, and we both felt unwelcome straight away. At first, I let her passive-aggressive attitude during our first interaction slide until she arrived with our food and slammed and pushed our plates on our table in a hostile manner. That aggressive behaviour was beyond unacceptable and really unnecessary. As soon as she left, there was so much tension in the air, we could have cut it with a knife. I also feel the need to point out that there was no queue at the counter and the place wasn’t crowded.

All in all, it was not a good experience and I won’t be coming back ️

We heard that they had good food and coffee so we stopped by.

We ordered both karaage and tamago sandos. The two sandwiches were looking absolutely amazing and the taste was pretty good. But, not going to lie, the curry was the best.

The iced americano was good and I heard so many compliments about the hojicha white chocolate, so we got that on ice, but I’m still not too sure about it. Many people did compliment the hot version, so I guess it might be different when on ice.

We did order too much food and had to get a takeout box. The worker there was very nice, gave us the box and stickers to decorate.

I went to OSMO X MARUSAN Café-Terrasse to have a drink with a friend.

Food and drinks: I had the Hojicha Latte, together with the Miso soup and salad with maple dressing. The Hojicha Latte was creamy, flavorful and just excellent, highly recommended. I also loved how it was elegantly served in a Japanese stone cup. The miso soup was decent, while I found the salad to be a little boring and overpriced (it was nothing else than a bunch of salad leaves, raw onions and maple syrup). I did not like the fact that it was not mentioned on the menu that the salad contains onions. I also had a bite of my friend's Katsu Curry, which tasted quite good and not too spicy.

Vibes: The interior design was appealing, modern and hip, and the terrace looked okay (although we stayed inside). Be aware that it can get a little loud due to the large number of customers combined with the music.

Service: The service was decent. We did not wait for our food too long.

Je suis allé à OSMO X MARUSAN Café-Terrasse pour prendre un verre avec un ami.

Nourriture et boissons: j'ai eu le Hojicha Latte, la soupe Miso et la salade à l'érable. Le Hojicha Latte était crémeux, savoureux et tout simplement excellent, fortement recommandé. J'ai aussi adoré la façon dont il était élégamment servi dans une tasse en pierre japonaise. La soupe miso était correcte, alors que j'ai trouvé la salade un peu ennuyeuse et trop chère (ce n'était rien d'autre que quelques feuilles de salade et des oignons crus avec du sirop d'érable). Je n'ai pas aimé le fait qu'il n'était pas mentionné sur le menu que la salade contienne des oignons. J'ai aussi goûté le Katsu Curry de mon ami, qui était plutôt bon et pas trop épicé.

Ambiance : la décoration intérieure était jolie et moderne, et la terrasse avait l'air correcte (même si nous sommes restés à l'intérieur). Sachez que le café peut devenir un peu bruyant en raison du grand nombre de clients et de la musique.

Service: Le service était correct. Nous n'avons pas attendu notre nourriture trop longtemps.

The ambiance is nice and the crowd is mostly young. The music is loud, so not a place for those who require a quiet place to study:) But definitely a nice hang out place. I tried their vegan curry and it is delicious. I highly recommend it and wouldn't mind going back for it. I have yet to try their latte which I heard is great too.

This is my absolute favourite place to study in Monteal! Great aesthetic, great music and the skylights make it such a bright place to work. The Katsu curry is a must-try!

The food was ok, not amazing but decent, that said what I really enjoyed about the place was the unique design of the building and the cafe’s use of space.
I also really appreciated the diverse and interesting selection of alcohol. Sadly we couldn’t stay for long and took the food to go, but I’ll definitely have to come back to have a tea and dessert.

This place is most well kept secret. Love the food, the coffee and the vibe. Always great music playing. Will definitely be back.

Le menu de la cantine japonaise, tout aussi délicieux, est raffiné et un plaisir pour le palais et les yeux, le café troisième vague servi par une jeune équipe dynamique et talentueuse est juste parfait, vaut le détour, dans un centre-ville qui manque de café de ce niveau. What a unique place! Design makes you feel being in San Francisco, food - in Japan, pastries - in France, music - at a Chicago jam session. Shrimp curry is great, gravlax sandwich - insane. Egg salad - a discovery. Real Japanese beer, and NIT Sapporo. Took grapefruit babka pastry to go and didn't regret it. They have a Japanese chef and Russian sous-chef - giving an eclectic delicious outcome.

Took Chirashi Sushi, was good but very small portion, bit of fish and rice but thats all, for 30$ its very expensive should be half the price

Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in a while! It’s really tasty and the prices are great for the quality of food. The cocktail I had was also delicious! It was rum and peach but you couldn’t taste the rum at all. Was looking for some Japanese dishes in Montreal since our trip to Japan. This place is AMAZING! The food is delicious and it reminded us of dishes we use to eat in Japan. The dashi broth was impeccable and the ambiance very friendly.

Favorite restaurant of the year!
The food strikes an excellent balance between comforting and flavourful. The friendly staff was enthusiastic in his recommendations. We had the beef udon and the beef Katsu-don, and both left us wanting more!

Had the karaage curry and it's one of the better options in the area at that price point. Good quality chicken that doesn't become soggy in the curry. I will definitely be back to try the katsu curry!

Excellent udon, so chewy Enjoyed the fried chicken as well! Took me a while to find the hand sanitizer, which is mandatory for Covid 19 period before entering stores or restaurants; it is attached behind the front door at the entrance, only saw it on the way out!

Bon café, le décor est le fun, c'est bien pour rester de longues heures. Pas beaucoup de choix de nourriture mais surtout des choix de boissons. Il y a plusieurs prises de courant pour les laptops. Je recommande l'endroit!

Horrible service, stood at the door for 10 mimutes as per the instructions. Finally, we got to the counter and ordered. We went to sit only to wait for 20 minutes for a coffee! When it arrived, it was cold! I can't stress enough how bad the service was especially since the woman was staring right at us. Perhaps I just went on a bad day l, but I do NOT recommend this establishment.

Pop-up, take-out for me! Besides the karaage that didn't agree with my sensitive stomach, I absolutely loved the multi-dimensional taste of their takoyaki (octopus balls). Enough to remind me of my visits to Osaka. The tantan pork udon was silky, luscious and messy (my fault: was devouring the dish in awe). All in all, surprisingly reminiscent of my 3 years living and travelling around Japan. Service: 5 stars! ARIGATOOOOO! NATSUKASHIIIIII!

Quel accueil! On s'est régalés de tokoyaki-ten et de sakés fins, grace aux conseils de la si charmante sommelière Nico. Un endroit assurément à découvrir.

Staff is lovely, ambiance is great, very intimate so might not be good for groups anything larger than 4, my husband loved the music choice too.
Although we were not drinkers and decided to go on an evening, so missing out on the lunch menu we wanted to order, we still manage to have a great meal.
The food is very fresh and artfully prepared, albeit the portions were a bit small—somewhat understandable for an izakaya/bar food after all.
Ordering seafood is a must!
Would go again to try out out their lunch menu.

I am visiting Montreal the first time. This restaurant is 200 m from where I stay with good reviews on Yelp, so I gave it a try.

I came here for lunch on Wednesday and there were about 15 people before me. The restaurant is clean and modernly decorated. The staff are nice. I ordered poke bowl. The fish was fresh and it has good flavor. The rice was just okay. I had better rice and poke bowls, so would give it a four stars, not five.

Order uber eats. And the dish only came with few slices of beef, few greens and curry sauce plus the egg I added. No rice? And $12 for this? Totally a ripoff!

Really good restaurant at lunch time. I always take the food out with me to the office, but never has the food tasted awful.

Ce japonais est vraiment bon, j'ai pris un curry végétarien. Vous avez un grand choix de plats, dont des sushis et des soupes.

Super japonais, pas mal de monde le midi mais on trouve toujours une petite place pour y manger. Je suis fan de leur curry, l'équipe est très gentille et accueillante. Bravo!
