Just popped in to look at colour options. Clerk was super nice & knowledgeable. Didn’t have what I wanted, but she made a good recommendation. Hooked me up with some samples, too—but also asked me about my hair so she gave me something that would be worth my time. Good service. I have a M&M in my neighborhood but, honestly, the vibe at Eaton Centre is consistently a bit better than the one near me.

Very sketchy. Bought a hair product mistakenly. Tried to return 1 day later without even having opened it. Was told it is always final sale. Never was told it was final sale. When explained it to the same salesperson who had sold the product the day before, was pointed to a tyne little piece of paper in the cashier. Needless to say she took my payment and never advised it. Sketchy. Be careful when you shop there.

They only want your money! If you buy a product, they will quickly draw a rummy card, if you want to change something at that moment, they will not accept it!

Oumaima is amazing

Their online customer service department is inadequate. I have never had a company completely unwilling to work with me. I ordered $90 worth of products. I got a delivery notification, but I could not locate my package. After contacting them, they stated they had to do an investigation through Canada Post. I was understanding. After a week had passed, I really needed some of the products and reached out asking if I could reorder (paying a second time) and either: 1) receive a refund after the initial package was confirmed lost or 2) return the initial package if it ended up arriving. I was basically told that I could reorder at my own risk, because they would not accept a return. I’m not sure why you would refuse a return for a completely unopened package after the customer experienced a delivery issue. Nevertheless, I no longer trusted ordering through them and had to purchase the products again through another company. The initial package ended up arriving to me 9 days after the delivery date. I will not order through them again, they do not prioritize the customer.

What I really HATE about Mat & Max is their no refund or exchange policy. Why? The assistant in the store strongly recommended buying a 5N to remove my red tones. After buying 2 tubes instead of only one that I need (I believe they work on commission), my hairdresser told me that 5N would be way too dark for me. I went back and they told me they are no exchanges. So…not only did I almost ruin my hair colour for what would have taken months to recover, I also could not return the products they themselves recommended. Please someone tell me why there is a no refund no exchange policy?

Nous avons été merveilleusement conseillées par Laura. Ses recommandations ainsi que le produit qu’elle nous a conseillé d’acheter, ont permis de rattraper un balayage et le résultat est grâce à elle, digne des plus grands salons de coiffure. Merci infiniment à Laura pour son professionnalisme, son empathie et son efficacité.

Je ne vous recommande pas ce salon. J’ai toujours été une cliente habituelle et satisfaite avec Ramona (une perle). J’ai confié mes cheveux à son collègue Yanick, mes bandes de mèches sont degueulasses, la répartition n’a pas d’allure, la coupe est un désastre. Jugez par vous-même avec les photos. La pose du toner n’a pas non plus été respecté. L’historique de mes cheveux a été discuté en long et en large car j’ai toujours été coiffé à ce salon.

Edited: Il dit que c’est de l’harcèlement, en quoi c’est de l’harcèlement mon commentaire? J’ai toujours été polie et de plus encouragé à ce qu’il prenne des cours de perfectionnement. J’ai demandé zéro dédommagement! J’ai été coiffeuse, je sais exactement de quoi je parle.

Yannick a été super pro, j’ai adoré ma coupe de cheveux Je vais y retourner c’est certain!

Mon salon depuis tellement longtemps! Yanick est mon coiffeur depuis 2015 et je suis TOUJOURS aux anges quand je sors de là! Toujours à l'écoute et toujours à offrir les meilleurs produits pour l'entretien et le maintien de mon blond…

Je vous recommande fortement Yanick que ce soit pour un changement de tête ou simplement un rafraîchissement. Il est excellent! Il est à l'écoute de ses client-es, très créatif et sympathique, on se sent rapidement en confiance. Vous ne vous tromperez pas! Merci Yanick!

Je suis une fervente cliente depuis le début de 2019 (peux avant Covid hit) et je suis vraiment enchanté des services et amabilité d'un coiffeur en particulier (Yanick) et de sa collègue à la caisse. L'équipe me fait vraiment sentir à l'aise:) La première fois que je suis venue me faire coiffé à ce salon, j'insistait pour me faire coupé le toupet et teindre les cheveux noir et après discussion avec mon coiffeur on est venu à la conclusion que le toupet carré n'était pas pour moi et que rouge était parfait pour ma complexion et Wow! Il a vraiment dépasser mes attentes et depuis j'y retourne plusieurs fois par mois sans regret. Merci beaucoup pour ton service impeccable.

I bought two hair products and only received one after reaching out several times they assured me by the weight of the box that both products were sent. I was charged for both products and to this day have only received one. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and I will never order from this company again. I sent pictures of the box and the product that was in it and they still wouldn’t work with me. Basically told me I was lying so buyer beware. I can still honestly say I only received one of the products and there responses have all been that they sent both. I guess they as a company don’t mind steeling from customers. In all my time of ordering online this is the only company that doesn’t care about the customer. I am out the money and the product that never came. Again worst company and customer service out there.

Je suis contente d’avoir trouvé un super coiffeur qui sais bien s’occuper des cheveux frisés! Yanick m’a bien conseillé sur ma coupe pour s’assurer que mes boucles naturelles soit facile d’entretien. Il m’a mise en confiance et est très sympathique!
