Loteries, ……si vous valider un ou 2 gratteux, attention à la caissière remplaçante ou de service, en sortant du magasin, elle ne pense pas à vous rembourser en argent, ou à déduire sur votre achat lorsque vous achetez une pinte de lait mettons, mais c’est sur quel fait attention lorsque elle fait un achat cette caisse la arrive jamais en dessous, tout le monde le saient dans le magasin et maintenant plusieurs clients l’on remarqués, ou est le Gérant? Pour moi un étoile c’est en masse

I am posting this right now as of using Maxi's internet.

I usually don't shop at Maxi (I used to frequent Maxi a lot until COVID). But as I was passing by there (I went to that area for Canadian Tire) I decided to go for a quick trip to grab 2 pieces of pie.

Since I only had cash on me I thought that it'd be quick if I just use the "Caisse Rapide" and get it over with since nobody was lining up there and there wasn't a sign that said that it was closed.

Oh how wrong was I, the cashier there was making a return then afterwards spent 10 minutes chatting with her friends/colleagues (3-5 of them?) without even noting my presence. So after her friends went away, she told me that the "caisse" is "fermé", then put the sign there. Will it hurt to show some common courtesy to the customer just by letting them know that the stand was closed? Of course, I didn't go confrontational and decide to write this review as I'm standing in the back of the lines again, fun times.

Tldr: unprofessional staff who can't be bothered to put a single sign to let non regular customers know that the stand is closed. Don't wear masks. Have friends loiter (?) when there's customers. If you value your time you must always have a CC with you otherwise it'll be a rough experience. This kind of thing never happened pre-COVID so I don't know what happened to their standards and training.

Dans cet établissement, plusieurs employés ne portent pas le masque. Précision: je ne veux pas dire ici qu'ils le portent mal comme le mettre en-dessous du nez ou sur le menton, je veux bien dire qu'ils ne le portent pas du tout. Les caissières et les caissiers par exemple, beaucoup travaillent derrière quelques plexiglas mal installés qui ne protègent en rien la clientèle ou leurs collègues. Après deux ans de mesures sanitaires obligatoires dans les endroits publics, c'est vraiment, mais, très ordinaire. Et surtout, pas réglementaire.

Majority of employees are anti-maskers that will give you a dirty look if you ask them to put a mask on or raise it above their chin. They will claim its fine thanks to the plexiglass, but gov't already has already said that plexiglass barriers are basically useless in comparison to masks.very disappointed

Good prices, good variety. However there's frequently expired products in the fruit section. It's usually just 1 or 2 random boxes so not a big deal. Just make sure to look bellow the fruit boxes you buy. Other than that, this place is great!

I take back what I said maxi in Verdun. You do groshries pick up they won’t bring them to ur car. Worst customer service this year. Vs the last 6 years. If You go to self serve u have to have under 20 items now and there super rude. I don’t want their dirty hands on my stuff. Packing the shelf fine. Why wait 1-2h in line for a lady to scan my stuff and not pack it when I could do it all my self. Time wasted didn’t even get my groshries I needed we won’t be gojng back to this one unless it’s an emergency.

A chaque fois que j'y viens pas assez de caisses ouvertes. Longue attente. Vendredi soir 3 caisses ouvertes. Une dizaine de clients font la file.

Premièrement, au une facilité pour avoir un panier bleu? Il faut payer. Ailleur, je prend et c est tout. Panier jaune faut payer? Je doute de la fraîcheur.

Convenient and well stocked for the many customers who visit daily. Very busy during the evening but the lines move quickly, the employees are doing a good job of checking you out in a timely fashion. Several self check-out cashes with an employee close by to help familiarize customers with the self check-out system

If I could give them no stars I would! Two times now I go and the cashiers refuse to speak to me in English it’s not that hard to understand DEBIT or CREDIT. They just look at me like I’m from outer space. Not to mention both cashiers working aren’t wearing masks although we are still in the middle of a pandemic. Ridiculous service, hire some new cashiers! Clearly they’re not right for the job.

Cool place, helpful staff but DO NOT TRUST their chicken, bought chicken from them twice and those 2 times the chicken has a an eggy smell to it which, i confirmed, got S A L M O N E L L A.i'd suggest to get chicken that came fron outside rather thsn getting chicken from their butcher, if the products on the shelves are affected, their station/backstore must be as well.might go get a refund or trash it. Overall, it's a good place

I tried 4 different maxi store location around downtown to get Naya water all was out of stock, and when I asked for the rain check the limited number was 4 pack!

Odeur de bière moisie à l'entrée. Très peu de caisses ouvertes, toujours de longues filles d'attentes pour passer aux caisses. La section des fruits et légumes est horrible. La salubrité générale du maxi est médiocre. Je préfère aller plus loins dans un autre marché que d'aller dans ce maxi qui est pourtant à 2 minutes de marche de chez moi. À éviter!

Bon épicerie pour produits de base. Les produits finis et de spécialités, ce n est pas l endroit idéal. Bon prix et aussi ils égalent les prix de d autres marchands. Beaux fruits et légumes mais variété limitée.

I had an order through pc express from maxi, I am totally unsatisfied with this distributer. More than one month ago I have ordered 6 sacks of rice, but I only received 5 sacks. I called customer service 3 times. And each time they gave me a reference number to follow up and told me we refund your money during 5 business day.
Until now I have not received anything. This is so embarrassing and I do not recommend to buy anything from here. They do not support their mistakes.

Wow they renovated this Maxi, it looks super nice now. I think it's awesome what they did to the place. As always it's Maxi great deals to be had if you know your pricing, and they had stock of all

Le service à la caisse et très mauvais les caissières sont pas respectueuse pas de sourire aucun respect des procédures c'est vraiment malheureux c'est sûr que je vais faire une plainte

Maxi Wellington recently improved I find, more choice, more organic stuffs, they have been good so far managing the covid situation every time
I came etc.for me the best big brand grocery store in the area at the moment.

Worst shopping experience of my life. Low cash management. Waited 56 minutes for 3 items in self serve cash. Doesn't make any sense

Tout (et même un grand rayon bio) pour beaucoup moins cher qu'IGA ou métro, à produit comparable.

I would recommend this location over the others for the friendly staff. Especially if you order online. They take the time to make sure you have what you have ordered and call if if there are missing items and find great substitute. I would also recommend the flash food app at this location. (You can find great deals)

At 12 am, there are lots of students at the entry. Workers of Maxi at the enter in the shop, does not let kids enter, but adults can, without waiting. Is that age discrimination? If so, maybe let the judge make the discision?

Je veux le service de livraison car je suis a mobilite reduite et donc je commande en ligne. ACTUELLEMENT Iga le fait mais le service laisse a desirer, les prix exorbitants et la fraicheur des produits manques A TOUT BOUT DE CHAMPS. JE VOUDRAIS UN SERVICE IMPECCABLES. MERCI

This Maxi store is a very decent size, all thought theres not as much stuff compared to an IGA. But the prices at Maxi are a lot lower. The Maxi is very well place with a bus stop infront and a bus that passes every 15min or so. Staff is nice. So overall it is a very good store, would recommend.

Pas toujours propre et les fruits et légumes son souvent pas très beau et la viande pas trop fraîche quand moi j'y vais le samedi

Pour Verdun, je le trouve petit et il manque beaucoup de produits. Pratique par contre pour une épicerie de dernière minute!

Got a product from another Maxi location, came home to realize that I bought the wrong color.
So went to this Maxi in Verdun (closer to my house) to return it today morning. They denied taking it back saying I'll have to go back to the same location to return it. I don't know of any retail store in North America doing this.

FYI:
1. The item was unopened.
2. I had the original receipt
3. There were not many people, so absolutely no rush.
4. I love Maxi and their service.

Le 5 étoiles est la qualité et la variété selon les autres maxi et grosses épiceries de la pointe/fin verdun. Peut-être éviter les veilles et avant-veilles de fin de circulaires pour avoir plus de choix.

They did NOT honor their guarantee to have cooked chicken available from 3pm to 7pm. They were supposed to give a coupon for a free chicken but instead I was told to wait. It was 3: 30 and I had to leave.: (

On vient ici habituellement le Samedi chaque semaine pour faire nos epiceries de la semaine, je trouve qu ils ont des bons prix ici, pas beaucoup de monde et il y a beaucoup de choix de produits. Il y a meme une section des produits biologiques dans cet endroit. Une tres bonne place pour magasiner pendant la semaine aussi.
