Bonne endroit poir magasiner propre plein d'espace pour stationner, les prix sont abordables. Des caisses libres services. Point faible! Les chariots manque ou présentent des défaillances au niveau des roues qui grincent.

Au niveau de la caisse c’est tous des nouveaux … donc ça ralenti pas mal le passage (ne connaissant pas tt les codes etc.)
Bref je n’aime pas cet endroit et j’y vais vraiment en cas de nécessité: (

I always buy from that Maxi all my grocery as it is the closest to home. Today, I had a terrible experience with the customer service.
My son and I went there the day before, bought 8 bags or about 40$ worth of oranges and grapefruits, since we are used to that particular brand. Unfortunately, when we opened one bag that evening, the fruit was dried inside. We believed it was a fluke. On to the next one, very acidic. My wife asked me to try my luck on another bag, same result. Usually, when we buy fruits like these or avocado bags and the fruit is not edible, we simply toss them and move on. But this time, 8 bags is a bit of a loss. So I decided to bring them to Maxi Saint Laurent. After explaining to the customer care, she called a supervisor or section manager who came. I explained that the fruits are not edible, but he was adamant and blamed me that it was my "fault" that I didn't look before buying. I proceeded to explain that it was impossible for anyone to know that the fruit was acidic and or dried inside just by looking. At my request, he opened one and fell on maybe the only good one, but didn't taste it. The conversation got heated as he kept belittling my intelligence, basically denigrating me and treating me as a liar. When he finally realized that I wouldn't take it lightly, and it was not getting anywhere, I told him that it was a stupid thing to tell a customer that it was his "fault" to open a bag of fruits only realize that it was dried and/or acidic. - I proceeded to call for the general manager. As in this kind of situation, the section manager briefed the general manager according to his side of the story. When the general manager finally showed up, he didn't even listen to my side of the story and simply declaring that I disrespected his section manager. What about the whole time that the section manager was insulting my intelligence and doubting my saying about the quality of their product?

Maxi, you can do better by opening more cashes, The Cashier is with 8 items or less, doesn’t take customers.

There was Not much variety of fruits. Long lines. Cashiers have attitude problem

Le congeler section pizza, pogo… est défectueux depuis 3 mois environ, je ne comprends pas qu’il ne le répare pas.
Ça fait plusieurs fois que j’ai la mauvaise surprise en ouvrant l’emballage, la dernière fois c’était pire je l’ai jeté immédiatement.

I go to this maxi quite often as it is the closest one to me and normally have no problems. Today on the other hand I go to self serve like I always do and I’m scanning my items and putting them In the bags that are in my carriage, the black female worker that was there today goes to tell me I cannot do that, so I start putting my stuff in the bags on the side of the cash and once they were full putting them in the carriage. When leaving she stops me takes my receipt, brings me to the customer service side where they have me wait for someone to come and tells me I have to empty all my bags again to check every item! So about 15 minutes later and everything being ok they give me my receipt and tell me I can go, I had freezer stuff so I left but will definitely be calling and speaking to a manager about this woman! And if this is how this maxi now treats their customers I will go elsewhere! Absolutely ridiculous

You find everything but cleanliness is lacking in corridors and vegetables verify their order

Today, two years later, 22/6/2023. The cash register is just as rude. The price of the goods is different from the website. She didn't know what to say, and the supervisor didn't know what to say. They asked me to wait. After waiting for a few minutes, there was no reply, so someone left. It's not good for Qianqi to come to buy things, if you really want to come, you have to check the price clearly, so as not to let people 'fish in troubled waters'.

Very big and mostly all the items are available. If you are an Indian, you will find many things. Don't need to go to Indian store.

J’ai travaillé ici tout un été et j’ai adoré sa les employés sont super gentils et serviables. Je n’ai vraiment rien à leur reprocher.

Bought 2 cases of 1 liter apple juice. The cashiers tore and broke the boxes as she mad at someone. Scanned every units 24 times. Shake my head of what kind of policy is this. Poor the cashier who has to follow the instruction.

J'aime faire mes courses chez Maxi parce qu'on trouve des bonnes choses à bon prix souvent et aussi les stationnement pratique

Good international food selection and very competitive pricing within St-Laurent. Staff and lineups are horrendous most of the time, so try to avoid peak hours for shopping. A lot of parking spaces available. The home section is quite convenient as well as a one-stop-shop.

This employee NAJOUA is extremely rude, it happened on multiple occasions when I'm at the lottery section, not even asking for her help, she speaks to me with an angry tone. As another employee witnessed how grumpy NAJOUA was towards me, I asked the employee and confirmed that NAJOUA is not very polite towards customers. I sincerely hope her manager/supervisor talks to her about being more friendly or at least not being so aggressive.

It's ok. They have lots of things so chances are what you are looking for you'll find it here but it has its big faults. Like the organization of materials is very confusing to say the least. It's very hard to find stuff and I often end up going from one end of store to another end. Too much walking the aisles are very confusing. Labeling of aisles is pure trash. The labels are inside of the aisle and should be outside! Collecting of Indian masalas is poor and incomplete. It would be nice to have all Indian products in one aisle! Same for Asian. Anyways there was a big line of customers with trollies and if I waited in this line it would haven taken 15 minutes to 30minimum. But the self checkout had no line and i scanned my products right away. It was just bizarre to see people stand in line and I didn't have to wait at all for checkout

Very well served today by Sankeeth who went out of his way to help me find vege dogs. Caring and professional employees like him do make a difference.

Large store with many different products. A bit confusing when You are looking for specific items.

It was good. I have never been to that one before. It is a big one. Seems like it has everything under one roof. Too bad I was in such a hurry.

Very badly enforced COVID measures. Lane directions are marked but people don't follow them. Even going first thing in the morning, it's hard to keep the 6ft rule.

This used to be my favorite store in the area. It was a good store with a good selection, but the wait times to check out are always insane, made even worse after their renovation.

Waits just for self check can take around 30 minutes at peak times. Why did they remove half of the self check out kiosks? !

Added a star due to shopping becoming easier with the COVID curfew causing opening hours to extend to 7am. If you go right at open, it's easy to keep safe distances from customers and staff. No waiting at the cash.

One stop for all our needs.well organized friendly staff, we get vegetables, fruits, cloths, grocery and snacks of Indian cuisine, books, beauty needs, love this place.we visit frequently.

Don't know what their maximum capacity is, but their line ups to get to the cashes mirrored the line up to get into the store today

We shop at this grocery store which is good place. They have a great variety of different selections when it comes to buying what a person needs for their home or wherever. I would highly recommend Maxi & Cie to everybody.

Directeur à ce jours du magasin qui semble que se fier à remplir les caisses à court terme.tout en négligeant le service client.

Je vous recommande fortement le SuperC à coter ou tout autre epicerie qui ont à coeur le service client.

While working nearby, I shopped at this place regularly! They have most products on my shopping list including indian and Chinese products are very reasonable prices, great offers and great specials make it worthwhile!

Overall, Good value for money. I like their well arranged organic products section. You can also buy lower price produce through flash food app (download from play store). Pc express app is another app and service if you like shopping online. I wish they provide small handheld baskets for shopping instead of paying 1$ for that big trolley.

We just moved in the neighborhood and went a couple times the past few nights. Store is messy & Service is bad.staff dont seem to care about customers. We used their u-scan and got an error message, we literally had to wave at the clerks who were chatting.

Interesting specials every week, good assortment of items in inventory available to customers. Gets busy on weekdays around 4pm and on weekends. Cashiers can be slow and grumpy or very friendly, I had both attitudes when shopping there. Therefore I prefer to go early in the morning when it is a bit quieter. In general, still more expensive than Walmart. Can be a hassle to find carts available if you don't have a loonie on you. All in all, it's an ok place to go.

My favorite place. Beer always cheap here. Heineken 24 bottles always $20.99. In Toronto same beer $40.00. All the things are cheap and best

Don't go on the weekend as everything on sale is gone.
Otherwise it's a decent place to shop. Just don't ask the male employees where things are. Only the women seemed to know. ‍️

Good selection of produce and meat. Only downside is it can be expensive so check out their weekly deals via flyers

Good and helpful staff, fresh food, I suggest to use their Flashfood App, you can save more and help for no more food waste

Fantastic place to buy your groceries as they have lots of it with amazing prices, sometimes lower than the same chai brand, because they sell a lot and are able to lower their prices. Like vegetables, pies, sometimes meat and other stuff. A no nonsense environment.

Attention souvent des produits périmés en vente. J'ai acheté hier un pain qui était périmé depuis. 1 mois!

Went to this store this morning. Picked up the groceries I needed and head to the cash registers.
No, no, no. Of the four registers that were open there were at least five customers in line at each cash. There were people in line at the self check out cash registers as well. I put everything back, I left and went elsewhere.

Having super C right next door keeps the prices competitive. Maxi has an amazing fruits and vegetables section, but nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread as you walk in. I suggest waiting around the bakery for 5-10 mins so that you pick up a fresh loaf of bread.
