Mazbi Restaurant

Restaurant très calme. Pas décoré de façon très convivial sauf pour la table devant la fenêtre. La nourriture est bonne et copieuse. Service courtois. Ça depanne mais il y a mieux en ville. Par contre c'est rare d'avoir accès à de la nourriture yemenite donc c'est une belle opportunité de découvrir.

We ordered 2 meals and humus. 1 Fahsa and 1 Mazbi chicken. I didn’t like the Lamb Fahsa a lot and its portions of meat and rice weren’t enough. Though the chicken Mazbi tasted nice and portions were noticeably big!
Humus was okay as well.

An amazing authentic Yemeni restaurant. You would find a variety of Yemeni dishes with its traditional atmosphere.

This is by far the best middle eastern food in Montreal! This is my second time in the restaurant, I tried fahsa while my partner had the lamb mandi … both are amaziiiiiing. The stuff is great You should definitely try it

The food was great, but the Mandi we did order wasn’t the authentic Yemeni one. They don’t have the right tools to make it. The milk tea was excellent highly recommend. The staff were so nice. The decoration is really pretty and unique.

Loved the chicken and lamb Mandi and the Mogagal. Really tender and flavorful. Would definitely recommend. The Kunafeh was just okay. Kind of dry and thin. I wish they heated/toasted the bread they serve with the hummus too.

If you like meat, 100% you have to try this restaurant. The taste, quality and quantity are perfect. In other hand, they will serve you extra rice if you ask which is perfect because no rice will be wasted.

This is not mandi or mazbi or any traditional yemeni dish
Rice had no taste…lamb was just boiled in water and hard tasteless chicken
I don’t recommend this restaurant at all and will never come back

Le personnel n’est pas accueillant et ne parle pas français. Les serveuses sont sur leurs téléphones et elles sont bêtes. La musique est un peu trop élevée et agressante.

Enjoyed the best Yamani experience in Montreal, best taste for Mazbi chicken with my family and sometimes with friends (Halal always)

It's great place for gathering. We been there several times with friends and families. Everytime we enjoyed and had really warm welcoming.

Première foie que j’essaye ce restaurant tres bel accueil du personnel tres bonne bouffe une ambiance familiale tres chaleureuse et c’est authentique yéménite je le recommande tres fortement

It’s my favourite Arabic restaurant, every time I spend lots of time thinking what i want to order cause really really the whole menu is fantastic specially magalgal beef, mazbi lamb, and the rice is very delicious.

I really recommend the place if you want to have experience in Arabic place, nice staff warm place and everything inside the place has positive energy it would be great experience for everyone

Excellent very authentic and cozy. Enjoyed super large dishes and loved. Will be back for sure in sha Allah.

Portion of food was very less, Yemeni taste is missing which was bit disappointing. However Staff was very friendly. Plz make sure reservations is required ok weekends.

The worst customer service from that long hair young guy. The way he speaks to the customers is as if we are on the ghetto streets. Very very unwelcoming.

Très bon service, le gérant prend le temps d'expliquer et de présenter son menu. J'ai goûter le magalgal bœuf, c'est bon mais c'est pas nécessairement à quoi je m'attendais, beaucoup trop d'huile à mon goût, donc c'est pas mon genre de plat, mais j'y retournerais pour goûter les autres.

Been to a couple Yemen restaurants over the years but Mazbi, surprisingly, is the only Yemen spot in Montreal.

We shared a mazbi lamb ($21.99) and mogalgal beef ($17.99). Three decent portions of lamb chop, although one was slightly dry. The sautéed beef was also flavourful. The small sauces they bring you (chili and yogurt) were delicious. In case you need more rice, refills are included (believe it’s one per entree).

Worth a try!
