Mazedaars Restaurant

Tried out based on Instagram posts. Loved the Pani-puri "shooters" - although we preferred to have it with the tamarind sauce vs the sour shooter juice.
The fried chicken was crispy and crunchy, although a bit salty for our taste. Fries are fantastic.
Service was very pleasant, but experience would have been more enjoyable if the server/cook could speak English or French. We ended up with a warm Coke Zero when we wanted a regular Coke. Having to place our order by phone was a bit eerie too.
She was however very pleasant and made every effort to communicate.

Bel endroit. Accueil chaleureux et l'homme derrière le comptoir est parfait. Il m'a expliqué le.menu et fait découvrir et tester des plats que je ne connaissais pas. Le poulet Birmanie était exquis. Merci pour le beau/bon moment. Je vais revenir c'est certain ;)

La nourriture est vraiment bonne, les portions sont généreuses et le menu du jour est extrêmement intéressant: trio burger à 10$. Le Mr à la caisse est super accueillant et la madame à la cuisine est super gentille.

Stopped by this restaurant randomly on my way home and I am so happy I did. I ordered the bowl with grilled butter chicken and the flavors blew me away. It was the best butter chicken i ever tried. Full of spices and delicious. I was also offered a complementary bite and it was another delicious explosion of flavors. I am looking forward to going back and trying more items on their menu. Service was wonderful! Thank you for a great 1st experience!

They definitely have an interesting take on the burger. The winner for me was the butter chicken poutine though.

The food was so tasty! We ordered a bunch of stuff from peri peri burgers to Kashmiri chai. They were all so well made, it reminded me of authentic Pakistani street food! Totally recommend, I will be coming back no doubt and bringing along all my friends! Not to mention, the staff was very nice and welcoming!

Went to Montreal for the first time and wanted to grab Pakistani breakfast.
Came to mazedaars. Food was great. Had parathas with tea. Reminded me of home. My cousin ordered peri peri poutine and that was amazing i tried that and ended up finishing that as well. Would definitely recommend it.

5star for food everthing was on point. We took almost all the burger avaible.the alootiki one is my fav.kulfi is home made to die for we were offered free pani purri to try delicieux.
3star for service there is only 1 person preparing the food so it took little bit longer for food, only one person who is bilingue.other employe doesnt speak english or french
5 star for atmosphere.great music

Parking is limmited shared with other restaurent around and grocery store

La nourriture était délicieuse et le propriétaire était très sympathique, je fais définitivement revenir!

Les portions sont généreuse et c'est un bon prix.

Le restaurant est très propre et j'aime beaucoup la décoration lumineuse. Le menu propose plusieurs options intéressantes. J'ai commandé le trio Anda Shammi burger. J'ai trouvé le burger très bon et agréablement épicé. Les samousas et le mélange butter chicken sont clairement fait maison ce qui est une excellente chose. Les frites sont comparables à ceux du Mcdo et j'adore ça parce que maintenant tout les autres restaurant ont adoptés la frite du Costco donc ça fait du bien de goûter du changement. Le seul ajustement à faire est le niveau de sel dans les frites. Je recommande ce restaurant pour ceux qui veulent s'initier à la cuisine pakistanaise tout en gardant un menu familier.

The chicken biryani was pretty good! The peri peri chicken paratha was delicious! The chicken on fries was pretty good but a little pricey for portion given also the fries was overfried became too crunchy, I received 3 different sauces (chutney, green raita & mayo) not enough sauce it was filled half way.
I would come back and try again for other food!

After hearing about Mazedaars opening in Laval, me and my wife had a huge craving for this new pakistani/indian street food. Today 07Dec2023, we finally decided to try it and when we arrived it was almost empty and there was only 1 cook taking care of everything. Let me break down why I gave overall 1 star:

1) it took almost 45min to get our order which was composed of 2 crispy chicken burgers, 1 smashed beef burger and 1 smashed mix burger, and 1 paratha piri-piri chicken, with one fries and 1 butter chicken poutine. It took so long that 5 customers left to the fast food next to Mazedaars.

2) food was not very hot so when we got home like 5min after, it was kind of warm

3) quantities were not impressive considering the wait.

4) the crispy chicken was very salty and it was like big bun and a small piece of fried chicken.

5) burgers had too many blend of spices and the mix was not extraordinary - nothing special to be honest. It was very hard to distinguish the different elements of the burger.

6) the poutine was very small for the price and the quantity of cheese was close to nothing. It was like eating sauce with fries. The spice mix was so strong that i didn't recognize the regular butter chicken.

7) the paratha was not fresh and it was cold and chewy and it was so thin and light that I was a bit shocked.

Overall price was around 80$ so I found that it was very expensive for the quality and quantity we got. Please check my pictures, you will understand what I mean.

Based on that, I don't recommend. You may be disappointed and hopefully I will not get sick.

Very cute place in Laval. Enjoyed the fact they have different kinds of chai. I only had a parantha to eat but it was really good. Very cute decor, will definitely go back. Only thing is they should keep the music consistent.

Burgers servis avec des sauces maisons savoureuses. Des goûts indiens/pakistanais authentiques, bien meilleurs que des restos indiens traditionnels populaires à Montreal/Laval. Vaut le détour. Resto humble, familial, efficace et délicieux.
