I'm surprised no one has reported this McDo to McDonald's Canada for its poor service, horrendous management, and downright disgusting food safety practices

10/10 and 100%, your order will be wrong! Regardless how many times you repeat your order. Then confirm at the cash, and they have no clue what they are doing! You'll wait about 25+ minutes, then when you receive your food. Everything's wrong, so you gotta wait some more. Why put a kid at the cash? Who doesn't know how to speak french or english! Or greet at the speaker by saying, "Okay. Not welcome to mcdonald's there. (OKAAY). Imbeciles!

The night shift service at this establishment is terrible. I was there last night going to the drive thru around 11: 30pm. The waiting time was so long customers actually turned off their vehicle. Some even got out of their vehicle to walk around. Luckily I was able to back out from the drive thru after 20 mins of still not being served. This is the worse McDonald to go to at night unless you’re a VERY patient person.

This is an updated review. Last night I decided to give it another try thinking maybe it was just an off night the week prior. This time the drive thru was blocked off. I decided to walk up to the window where you pick up your order as I could see there was staff inside. I was told the kitchen was closed because there was no cooks on site. They have serious issues at this establishment. I noticed the kitchen was a complete mess. What are these employees doing? No cook, mess in the kitchen but staff inside clearly doing nothing. Unreal!

This one is always slow and give wrong orders.
Also, the " now serving" tickets get cleared out so they look faster to the owner, but the orders are not ready at that time.
All they do is park the drive thru and make them wait 20 mins in the parking lot!

They didn’t notice us in the empty hall for about 15 minutes, while I asked in bad French, “Moi regarde”, my grandson felt sorry for the staff. Well, let them eat ice cream, and we’ll wait.the donut box was successfully found and they were folded with a napkin haphazardly.strange So it was possible? Coffee was given, as a favor.they checked the check INTERESTING? THEY ARE FORGED? So I don’t want to go to competitors. But Fedya NEEDED.

Painfully slow every time.

I have been give the wrong order several time.

The food is put together haphazardly at best.

A very good place to go for a quick snack or lunch during the day. But at night around 7: 30-8oclock, the service becomes a bit slower but the food is still quite good.

If you ever go at night, be prepared to wait a very long time in the drive through. Also, the workers sometimes serve 3-4 cars in the same lane without serving the other lane. What’s up with that?

Service wasn't great took a crazy 20 minute to get simple coffee watching everyone else who arrived after me received food and beverages

Absolutely The worst MacDonald's ever opened.waited 30 minutes in the drive thru while never even placing an order, followed by another 20 minutes waiting for my food. Not the first time either.and mistakes are the only thing consistent thing with this location

Absolutely terrible. App orders are always delayed. 30 minutes for a coffee. Last visit they wanted me to pay for bbq sauce! Whhhaaattt? Can barely get napkins now and prices going up!

Tu commandes ce que tu veux mais tu sais jamais ce que tu vas recevoir. En plus j’ai attendus 45 min pour un BLT avec un café et il était 21: 00. J’ai recu un BL avec une boulette mais pas de tomate haha. Gang d’incompétent. Je peux comprendre que ca manque d’employé mais quand on est juste 3 à attendre c’est innaceptable

Really nice people expect bring in Gatineau. I'm from outside Ottawa! Crowd parking area which really suck with hauling a trailer. Quebec is always tight on parking. Not ideal for big vehicles!

The worst place, clearly employees can't even do their job. Burger sent without meat nor top bun. Missing the drink, I can't even understand how that was sent out.

This McDonald's is horrible terrible service and always messing up the orders. Everyone that I know that goes there says the same thing the employees have no clue what they are doing

Very poor service. The girl that takes our order never had a smile or a thank you. Real poor attitude. If you don't like your job quite. Plus no straws no fries in the happy meal. Bravo mcdo

Je ne sais quelle formation suivent ces employés mais le service client est misérable voire nulle, le gérant devrait revoir sa copie et miser sur une formation de qualité a l écoute des client

Hier vers 18h15, nous commandons pour service à l'auto. Nous sommes 3. Nous célébrons le début au secondaire de mon petit-fils. Une fois revenus à la maison, nous constatons qu'il manque une frite et qu'il n'y a pas de fromage dans le 14 de lb fromage. On n'a pas retrouvé la facture mais j'ai le relevé virtuel de ma carte Visa. Grande déception.

I’ve actually seen people get out of their car and approach the window to see how they’ve been waiting for 30 mins in a drive thru for a hamburger. Insane slow which would be so bad if every single time they weren’t missing items. Last night ordered 2 combos and they literally forgot the drink and burger for one of them! How do you forget the main part? They also forgot the apple pie I ordered on the side. I would not complain if it was a one time thing. It is every single order that’s wrong or incorrect or missing items. They need a real operational overhaul. Worth the drive into Ottawa to get normal service.

This is the worst McDonald's in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. The quality of the food is subpar compared to other McDonald's restaurants. Cold/soggy/undercooked fries and hashbrowns are the norm and always very slow service.

Not sure who owns or runs this store, but it has to be the worst run of them all. Slow service.and I mean slooooooooooooowwww.and constant screwing up orders. How this store is able to function at all is beyond me.

If 0 be an option I would rate this location a 0.
The McDonald has horrible service, it’s extremely slow (average 25min wait once paid), the food is often cold and honestly this location is an embarrassment to the brand. Not worth the wait and I would recommend going beside to Gabriel’s Pizza (quicker and better service) or to St. Hubert (quicker and better service and food).

Not even joking.worst place ever. Get ready to wait 2 hours for nothing. Horrible service. Management and owners: wake up. Is a 3 hour wait normal? Change the owners or shut this place down.

This location is extremely slow. In the last few years, my average wait time for a coffee or any simple order is 15-30 minutes, sometimes up to 1hr. Service has become insanely slow. The food is usually cold and always missing something, or made extremely sloppy with 3x the amount of sauce it should have. Zero quality control.

Accepted my order and then decided to close with no contact. They didn't cancel the order so 2 different delivery people showed up.
Do not order from here for delivery. Can't speak to service in person, likely just as bad

Third time this month (May) bringing my kids to get ice cream and every time I am told, 'We are sorry, our machines are not working right now". I know that cleaning the machines take time and many workers just say their machine is not working instead of cleaning. Not returning to this location. Service sucks anyways.

This is the 3rd time in as many visits to the drive through that they missed something in the order. People check your order.

Tonight marks a milestone. After years of being a loyal customer to McDonald's as of now i am one no longer. There is a new business model at McDonald's, it's dedicated to the service that gives the highest profit and to hell with anything else. This new service is "UBER EATS". It's so bad that it has displaced the rest of us paying customers to a distant 2nd in priority. This all started pre-COVID, but has gotten worse. Moreover, the staff not only don't care but brag about it. To make matters worse, you often (Like tonight) get luke warm, soggy food and have to wait 30 minutes for it. I ordered 3 cheese burgers and waited outside for 30 minutes. Never again, as this isn't the first time, or a rarity it is now THEE common denominator, they service standard. This site specifically should be concerned with serving luke warm food during a pandemic, as it isn't the first time they have had that problem noted in health inspections. Good bye McDonald's may my health and pocket book benefit. The price has gotten too high now anyway, especially for sub rate, lukewarm food served begrudgingly after a 30 minute wait.

Je fait une commande par skip. Une heure plus tard, et froide que ma commande arrive. En plus d’avoir du refaire ma commande car ils s’étaient trompés, il me manque 2 repas. Ayant pris tellement de temps a arriver, je n’ai pas pu recommander. Très désagréable.

Do you want some perfectly cooked food? Do you want to lose weight with this incredible diet from this location! Dont worry i got your back with this insane RAW FOOD! I didn’t realize something was wrong with the meat because the sauce covered it well but I ATE the entire raw side, puked it for around 30 mins.at least i lost 9 pounds right haha!

Update: after a couple years, tried it again. Got my two order item wrong. Unbelievable that they can't even do basic things right. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would.

Terrible. Service is slow, always disorganized, understaffed. Been like this for years, but the local old folk spend their mornings there so their business hasn't suffered enough to change anything.

After yet another screw up by one of their bottom-of-the-barrel incompetent kid employees, I expected at least a simple apology. Instead I got nothing but rudeness, so I told them a simple apology goes a long way. I got an exasperated sigh, eye roll, then the employee turned and walked away.

There are two types of people that work minimum wage jobs: those that will use their brain, talent, work ethic, charisma, and/or problem solving skills to move up and on to better things, and those that are completely useless people with no future. This McDonald's hires a lot of the latter.

Two many mistakes at Drive-Thru, especially if you order any kind of Diet Drink, you can never be sure until too late. Prices seem to have gone up over last year or so. As far as far as a 2 or 3 times a year thing it is AOK.

Terrible experience. Lady did not even want to grant me the coupon deals and kept forgetting to give us items we had purchased. All in all one of the worst McDonald's I've been to.
