Took about a half hour to get through the drive thru. Maybe they were short staffed, or just really busy with people heading home from Bluesfest

Je suis allé pour le service au volant et j'étais à la dernière en ligne donc j'ai attendu environ 15 minutes ça n'a pas bougé du tout

par la suite ce que j'ai fait j'ai sorti de la ligne d'attente et je suis allé à l'intérieur tout le monde était perdu tout le monde allait lentement il y avait pas de service non plus mais j'ai finalement eu mon burger qui était fait d'une façon très rapide la salade tout autour il débordait de ketchup c'était vraiment pas agréable

This is supposed to be fast food. I agree with the other reviews here. We live nearby so we used to go here often. Every. Single. Time. It takes at least 25 minutes to get your order in the drive through. Why? It's McDonald's, it's Fast. Food.
The worst part of it is the attitude. Completely dismissive and angry for some reason. The latest episode, we waited for 25 minutes and they forgot to give us our drink. So we said, "oh our drink is missing, " and they sighed and smashed the drive through window shut. What the actual hell? So we went inside and multiple people were requesting a full refund of their order because they were tired of waiting.
Drinks half filled, parts of the orders missing, this is all common.
But the worst part is when you ask them politely to actually get what you paid for, they are angry at you, give you attitude, and act like you are a pest, a nuisance to them.
It is definitely worth driving further to get your McDonald's. Whatever day you've had, good or bad, you will leave this place feeling miserable.

Typical McDonalds, good fast food, place is a lot crowded and service is slow
The soft drinks felt extra watered down for some reason, there is a top level floor for sitting that’s handy during busy times
Parking is onsite which is very nice and helpful.

I live in the area and bother to order from here. Staff is rude and always forget something either in the drive thru or delivery.

Repas très froid, les frites aussi tres froid on dirait ne sont même pas cuites. Le tout est jeté, tres déçu.

This is my least favourite McDonalds. I ordered an ice cream and watched it melt as employees walked past it, filling other orders (of people who ordered after me). I was curious about their organization- like. ARE they organized?

Pour un mois consécutif. Le services à été éfficace et Rapid. Servi avec politesse et sourire. Je avait continué ce McDonald's car ils ont changé leur manière de servir les clients et sa leur monte les étoiles bien mérité pour leur effort. Félicitations au Gérant et employés de ce McDonald's. I came in as a dasher, at first they said the order wasn't ready, some staff were just talking and doing nothing, turns out I waited 20mins for a bag that was just sitting on a counter for like 10mins.waste of time

The slowest McDonald's in Canada. Staff is a bunch of rude and incompetent woman who don't want to be there. Terrible customer service and I could do without the extra side of mcattitude whenever YOU mess up my order and I'm upset about it. This place owns me money for all the times they didn't give me what I paid for l, like extra patty or a half filled medium fry and still cold patties.

The staff have zero pride in their work, zero.

JUST PLACED AN ORDER VIA THE APP GOT THERE AND CLICKED WE'RE HERE. TO GET CHARGED AN ORDER WHEN EVERYTHING IS CLOSED EARLY AND WITH NO WAY TO CORRECT OR GET BACK MY MONEY!? WTH!? I'm sooooo done with this location! FFFFFF!

It's a fast food place, and its anything but that! Waited in drive through after ordering for about 15min! Everything was hot (for a change) but as per usual at this location, they were understaffed on a weekend night, well basically every night. The owner of this McDonald's should be ashamed of this. Its located near the bridge to Ottawa, and it's right in the middle of a tourist hot spot with the museum's and yearly festivals you'd think he'd train and staff the Mc D's to fit the clientele volume.

Got there around 1 or 2 am they told me they were closed for cleaning, when i asked when they would open again the manager told 6 am.why have the 24 hour sign if youre not going to serve customers?

Placed an order for latte, was told the machine is broken. The manager refused to provide a refund, was very rude. Terrible experience

Mr. McDonald makes a very tasty sanwhich they called the Junior Chicken. Would suffer severe gastrointestinal distress for $1.89

Was not open at 10: 40pm on a Friday night. Was supposed to be open until 11pm. Disappointing, saw 5 other people trying to order as well and was closed.

Ordered online 20minutes for 2 happy meals and still waiting!
Same thing happened the only other time I came here.

Worst one I have ever bin too randomly closed often and mass confusion behind the counter often

This place is open and closed at random hours of the day.they are supposed to be open based on their "hours of operation", but never are.this McDonald's often makes people go there, claiming that they're open, but then, when the people get there, all they get is a closed door.it happens all the time. I know because I live two blocks away and have been going there for years.

They changed their suppliers last time without notice. So need to ask everytime about fresh cut fries.

They actually close between 9-10 depending on whos working and what the vibe is. Never heard of a mc D ever closing before 11 ‍️

Was trekking around and head there for some food, as many other people around, to find out they're not open for people on foot, only cars? !? ! Heading back to Ottawa to get our big Mac's.

Absolute nightmare wait, 6 people in line and it took 27 minutes to get our order. All while the drive thru was getting everything lightning fast.

It takes forever to get served if you're not in the drivethru, you get looked at and get ignored until someone says to serve the front.

It's McDonald's so not much to say you don't already know.but as far as McDonald's go in this city the service has always been great and never had issue with my order

I don't understand the bad reviews but I'm sure everyone has their reasons. This is the only McDonald's that ever has ice cream and gets my order right.

Drive through was fast and efficient. Had the limited time BTS meal, I recommend the sweet chili sauce to the Cajun.

Worst service, they just forget about your order while you wait, they made the mcflurry right away but let it melt on the counter for the extra 15 minutes it took to make 2 smoothies. Its tge second time in a row this happens at this location, i'd recommend driving 5 minutes to the next one.

LE PLUS: Le fait de pouvoir manger à l'extérieur était "priceless" surtout en ce temps de pandémie. Je m'y suis rendue à vélo avec mon fils.
LE MOINS: À la fin de mon repas, une dame d'un certain âge m'a quêté un repas.c'était difficile de dire non à qq'un qui veut manger, j'ai donc réutilisé mon application mobile pour passer une commande pour elle, malgré que je n'ai pas eu droit à un merci de sa part.

This is the best McDonalds in Gatineau. I love the parking lot because it is like a mix of a racetrack, a destruction derby and a drivers ed training course. Very BOLD and exciting! Just navigating your way to the drive-thru will make you feel ALIVE.

The food is always blazing hot and fresh because so many people ordering big sloppy orders. They must have to be constantly cooking in the back to keep up. Never had a problem with the food here.

The staff is all business and that's how I like it. None of this
"How are you today" or "Hello" nonsense. Just order, pay, get out.

Never go here they literally messed up my order 5 times in a row they could not even make a hot chocolate like what? NEVER GO HERE EVER NEVER DON'T JUST DON'T DO IT!

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Waited 50 minutes for breakfast. Advertised 24h and threatened to call the police because they didn't feel like working while over 30 people were outside. Worst service. Worst people. Don't come. If there was zero stars that's what I'd pick

Consistently the worst McDonald's service on the planet. My mcflurry took over 20mins. Drive thru is less frustrating because you can't see how ineffectively the staff is working.

I'm always amazed at how they always find a way to mess up my orders every single times, no matter how simple the order it is.
If there was a negative rating I would have used it for sure.
I mean how difficult it is to follow the order for 3 items.oh I know, don't spend half the time you're preparing the bag talking to people in the back and laughing. You don't even have to be really fast, just make sure you put all the items in.
Unfortunately it is the only Macdonald open late in the area, but considering the service I'd rather drive to the one across the bridge on Rideau street.

C'est un McDo qui est assez achalandé. En général, on reçoit un service typique de ce qu'on s'attend d'un McDo, mais parfois l'attente est plutôt longue.

Slowest drive-thru on earth - I get punted to the short order spots every single time I go through. They send you to the waiting spots by default, and the orders can take as long as 15 minutes outside peak hours.

Read the previous comments — they frequently get orders wrong. This has also been my experience.

Unless you have an extra half-hour to get to where you’re going, avoid this disaster of a restaurant.

Average McDonalds. Gets the order right mostly, but usually something small is messed up. Can order in English or French. Only drive-through at night

The old lady at the cash has no Idea what she's doing and she's rude to other employees. If I was a mystery shopper they'd fail.

Staff just cant seem to get simple orders right. MAKE SURE to check your bag before leaving the drive through lane.

It amazes me how terrible the service is. I should give them a 5 star for complete incompetence and carelessness. The regional manager should monitor this place and push for a complete overhaul of management and staff. Drive thru and dine-in is terribly slow, and expect your order to be wrong and way off.

Terrible. Just terrible. The review options need to add zero stars just for this McDonalds. I don’t know how it’s possible to be so slow in getting the orders out and still make so many mistakes. I try to order the simplest things from this location like nuggets and apple pies. I have to believe that BEING ABLE TO COUNT should be a skill possessed by all of their employees. It’s not exactly reaching for the stars here. The last time I went through drive through I just ordered a Coke. When they handed me a sprite, I had to laugh. Apparently, the coke machine was broken and coming out clear. In other words.someone was too lazy to replace the empty coke syrup and thought they would try to pull a fast one on me with a SPRITE. At least have the thoughtfulness to go with the Diet Coke. So sad!

Needless to say, I give up on this McDonald’s. It might be a block away from my house, but I will now drive to Ottawa (or anywhere else) to get faster/better service and a correct order.

Everything smelled like urine.
My breakfast sandwiches had soggy bread. But the bread was toasted.soooo.how? Dunked in something? I'm not sure but it wasn't good at all

Fast food? More like slow food.

We ordered food from here for the first time last week because we wanted to grab a quick bite - boy were we wrong - we could have gone to a restaurant.

There was a queue of orders piled up and the staff were very slow in handling things. It took 40 minutes from the moment we got our receipt to the moment we got our food. The place seems poorly managed and very disorganized. Oh, and we requested no pickles in the burger, and they didn't do that. We requested two dips, and they didn't gave us any.

We were very disappointed and probably will never go again.

La nourriture était correcte, service rapide, mais la propreté des lieux laissait à désirer: toutes les tables au deuxième étages étaient sales et les poubelles débordaient.
