They are so kind and professional. I always feel safe to visit the vet with my kitten and the veterinarian is so respectful for my kitten. My kitten is quiet anxious but the veterinarian always helps him to calm down. All the technicians have been excellent as well as the staff. Most of them are more comfortable with French, but they try their best to explain everything to me in English. I really appreciate their service as it has been super helpful for my lovely cat!

Most people who work here are more comfortable speaking French, but please kindly explain everything in English as well. My cat feels a lot of anxiety in unfamiliar situations, but the veterinarian was patient with me and understood my cat's tendencies, so I was able to receive treatment without any difficult situations. It's difficult to make an appointment right away, but once you make an appointment, it's great because you can get treatment without waiting in most cases!

Ils ont annulé mon premier rendez-vous dernièrement eux même et ils n’ont même pas eu la diligence… de me proposer un autre rendez-vous. Ce que je trouves extrêmement dommage! Pour votre information, ils ne prennent plus de nouveaux clients jusqu’en septembre 2022 que votre compagnon préféré soit malade ou pas.

Ils prennent soin de mes petits amours depuis plus de 14 ans! Les gens sont aussi très présents et rassurants pour nous les parents dans les moments les plus difficiles!

Service professionnel et humain. Vétérinaires compétents et qui ont vraiment le bien-être de l'animal à coeur. Excellente communication, suivi et disponibilité. Je n'aurais pu demander un meilleur service.

They look nice but they don’t care about your pet and they are not honest!

I brought my puppy to have her second and third doses of vaccine, they charged me for the first appointment annual consultation and vaccines and whatever they gave to my baby.
I was like okay.

And for her second appointment, I saw that they charged me again « annual consultation » 88$ +taxes with other vaccines and medication.

I called them and ask them the price about annual consultation and the vaccines and how often we will be charged annual consultation fees, she told me juste once and the prices. Then I mentioned that I was there a month later for the second vaccine, but they charged me another « annual consultation » which should be annual not monthly. Then she put me in hold for so many times like she doesn’t know what to answer and she said unfortunately because it’s a puppy so you need « a few annual consultations» which doesn’t make any sense. And the vet who recommended me to do 2 vaccines in three appointments didn’t mention a word about this charge. They are either taking advantage of an Asian or ignorant pet lovers.

I don’t mind to pay if they do their job, but the thing is they don’t!
They gave my pet a medication which they usually take for summer time, the vet gave her now winter time……? Whyyyy?
And I cut my baby’s tongue by accident and I forgot to mention, he checked (or maybe not) her teeth but didn’t see that cut!
WOW!

And his attitude is not appreciated either. When I asked if my puppy can go hiking with me à Mont Tremblant, he said: why you bring her to a place where you can’t do the hike.

Me: ? (If I don’t like hiking, why do I ask) and he doesn’t even know what is Acropole des draveurs.

I really don’t mind paying for a good service. But YOU SHOULD FIND A BETTER PLACE THAN HERE WITH WHAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED. Your pet deserves a real vet not a money maker place.

So I just described what happened and some of my feelings. YOU GUYS MAKE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT. And I am not a vet. But I do need a professional vet.

I liked going to this clinic until I heard that they over-price their clients. My friend brought her dog there, and charged her extra on many items. They also did not inform her of the added costs. Sadly, I'll bring my pet to another clinic.

Absolutely astonishing service and very friendly staff. Since day one my cats' doctor been very helpful and attentive. They pay close attention to your pets' health answer any questions or concerns over e-mail or by phone. You can send an e-mail with pictures describing your problem and expect an answer or even a call within 24 hours.

I would definitely recommend this Clinique to everyone who cares about their pets and wants to know the root of an issue because the doctors truly care and unroll the information about potential solutions and concerns.

Suivie par Dre Caroline Léger depuis plusieurs années: excellent service! Dre Léger est très douce et attentionnée, prend en considération l'animal et le client lors de ses interventions, je la recommande chaudement.

They just don’t care. Maybe they don’t like cats? I don’t know. I arrived on time for my appointment, secretary was on the phone for like 10 minutes, then she tells me to sit down and wait. Waited for 30mins after my scheduled appointment time and left without my cat being seen.took time off work to go and they wasted my time. Nice renovated interior but there’s no one inside, apparently. Not recommend.

I took my dog here for years since he was just a puppy, yesterday after 15 years I had to say goodbye to him. The staff was always compassionate and professional. I'm very thankful for them and how they helped with the goodbye i had to say to my little man.

The nurses and the doctors in this place are amazing. They are always so kind and helpful, you can tell that they genuinely care for the wellbeing of your pet. Highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a good veterinary clinic in Montreal!

Extremely professional, gentle, kind and patient. They walked me through proper cleaning practices and didn’t judge that I had been making mistakes. My pit bull was extremely well received and treated with so much kindness. She didn’t even notice when she got a shot - a first for us!

I’ve always loved my vet from Vancouver (we’re new in Montreal), but I think this tops all my vet experiences. Have already shared their info with friends and will be returning for sure!

I have 5 cats that are followed by this clinic. I find the staff very understanding, kind and professional. They have always offered me great service whether it was in person or over the phone. I really recommend this clinic to anyone.

They'll do anything for a buck. Had to show up at 8am with my cat before they bothered to tell me the procedure ran about a thousand dollars when they'd been telling me 250$ on my last visit. Also, once I didn't have the money, the procedure wasn't all that important. SCAM ALERT. THEY WILL USE YOU LOVE FOR YOUR PET TO EXTRACT EVERY DOLLAR THEY CAN.

EDIT: The staff is very nice, it's just the veterinarian's fault.

We just adopted a cat a couple of weeks ago and she needed a booster vaccine. I was a little stressed about taking her to the vet for the first time but they really helped take the stress out of it. Very gentle and kind. They were upfront about the costs and explained what was necessary and what was recommended, and what could wait, and no guilt tripping or up-selling. Overall positive experience and would highly recommend

Going to the vet is like taking a trip to the USA, where any issue you may have that veers close to the health care system will cost you a fortune. Having visited a number of vets, it is my understanding that a veterinarian's primary objective is to sell you food that only they sell, to provide medicine at an rather inflated price, and to charge eighty dollars once a year to squeeze your dear pets particulars and declare them fit as a fiddle. In this regard clinique Saint Louis complies with all my prejudices. Having said that, they are very knowledgeable, professional, and do their best to accommodate you in times of need. Recommended.

Our vet is very kind and gentle. Different to other vets we've visited, no pressure or guilt trips, just the facts and our options. Super down to earth and honest. Recommended!

Un service plein de gentillesse et très compétent, par ailleurs une très bonne adresse pour les gens qui partent en voyage avec leur animal: la vétérinaire Caroline Léger est très attentionnée et très professionnelle.

Le personnel est attentif, toujours prêt à aider et conseiller. Les prix sont raisonnables et les vétérinaires ont véritablement la vocation; le respect et l'amour des animaux est au premier plan.

The vets are fantastic however the clinic as a whole is disorganized and unprofessional.

I took my cat here instead of my regular clinic because my clinic suggested he see someone as soon as possible. They were kind enough to squeeze him in and had his dossier forwarded from my regular clinic so we didn't have to go through all the initial visit requirements. They unexpectedly had to hold him for a few hours (which they did at no extra cost) however no one ever called me to come pick him up (despite me inquiring after the estimated time had elapsed). I showed up in person 30min before they were going to close and they had completely forgotten to call or that I was supposed to speak with a vet again to go over the test results. The receptionist checked and said everything was fine, however she refused to give me a receipt or a refund for the difference between the deposit and cost of services, saying I could call back the next day to sort it out. I then spoke with the lab tech who informed me the results were in fact abnormal, but they didn't know the cause. They said the vet would call the next day thereby completely defeating the purpose of going to their clinic out of urgency, and meaning I would spend the night worrying. Thankfully later that evening a vet ended up calling me and he was extremely informative and helpful.

Mon chat a besoin d'une prescription mensuel, je devais donc renouveler sa médication 1 fois par mois. Pas une seule de mes commandes s'est bien passées. Retard, oublie, délai, mauvaise compréhension (Alors que je commandais toujours le même produit).
Bref, je ne recommande pas.

These guys (especially Dr Milhet) have bent over backwards to care for our dog and cat. They have been nothing but compassionate, and have always been honest with us. They try to come up with solutions that work for us financially. I will not trust my pets' health with anyone else.

Very handy Plateau vet clinic on a beautiful quiet street, with private parking on the side and dedicated caring staff. Also will not euthanize your pet without first making sure this is not done on a whim! They require legitimate and ethical reasons to put them down.

Amazing staff, so accommodating and kind. My dog, a pit bull, is always treated very well by everyone. Despite her fear of all things medical, she pulls to get inside! The staff is also bilingual. It is normally very easy to get appointments within a few days of calling (sometimes even on the same day)! I highly recommend.

Not good changes prices. The vet tech reception is ask her five times how much no answer the vets change prices if American. Discrimination the dog bath face not done. They retrimmed toes not needed I was there one week prior. Since a vet did it 28.95$ apparently the vet did not trim nails properly. And ears cleaned in USA Banfield and vet checked week prior ok. Thisale vet stated dirty so the week prior she again was sloppy. Want all money back. If I pay should be done properly the first time. Not sloppy. The male vet said price different for nails then I said the price charged 29.95 last week. Ask for price list none. Prices made up.
