Medina Palace, Moroccan and Tunisian boutique in Montreal.

So i was in Montréal for the very first time and walking around on the street enjoying the lights. And then i come across this really beautiful corner and although i have no plans of shopping, but this shop was so beautiful to resist, all these beautiful lamps! I go inside, i am mesmerized, the guy at the counter was so helpful and sweet! Ended up buying some gifts at amazing prices! Totally recommend it! Thanks for helping me choose the best gift for my mom!

I went to this store quite by accident, I was actually on my way to my favourite Greek restaurant and came across this Moroccan store that sold all kinds of beautiful things for yourself and your home. I ended up buying a very pretty table lamp covered in little red mosaic glass that has been sitting on my credenza for several years.

Store has a wonderful atmosphere and wonderful staff. Nassim was delightful and incredibly helpful. Helped us with our shopping and our French. Will definitely return!

The store’s layout is gorgeous and heartfelt. I was treated with sincere kindness and patience. I walked away with a beautiful floor pillow, I completely recommend this store for beautiful selections and wonderful customer service.

Excellent place. You find a lot of things there. Tajines, plates of couscous, decorations, chandeliers, cushions, tea pots, tea glasses the khomsa, everything.

Vraiment leur service est pourri. Quelle arrogance! Belle boutique mais apprendre le respect et la courtoisie ferait le plus grand bien aux gens qui travaillent à cet endroit.

Plus jamais je ne visiterai cet endroit. Dommage! Tout est magnifique. Sauf la façon de servir et parler aux gens. À un certain moment donné je ne me suis pas senti à l’aise tellement y avait de l’agressivité. Déplorable. Autant à mon travail que dans mon entourage amis et famille je vais répandre la « bonne nouvelle » Apprenez à vivre messieurs.

Belle boutique mais service vraiment exécrable. Je ne recommande pas. Sinon achetez en ligne afin d’éviter l’attitude oh combien désagréable du personnel.

Expérience totalement décevante! Aucune photo permise! Sur un ton sec madame pas de photo! Comme si on fait quelque chose de mal. Je n’ai pas compris le pourquoi et j’ai préféré quitter que de me fâcher à haut niveau. J’aurais probablement acheté quelque chose. Donc faites attention au ton utiliser et la façon de dire les choses.

"Best place" is what I wrote and 5x, because I was in a hurry; allow me to elaborate.

This place is So Gorgeous. Although I came in for the lighting, there is so much more to explore in this store. Let your imagination play a little, and picture any piece in your home. What they offer is sure to brighten any room. Mirrors, ottomans and benches and slippers and purses of leather. Fabrics, table runners, cushions all adorned with hand embroidery. Incense and burners, Turkish coffee carafes, as well as cups, glasses and plates, actually painted by hand. It's a different world in here where one should slow down and appreciate that someone took the time, and made decisions about how to make an everyday item, into something beautiful. That is cool.
Certainly the most beautiful aspect of this store is the lighting.
Blanketing the ceiling from one end, to the other, are these Gorgeous mosaic glass lamps. Look at the pictures people have posted. They are THRILLED, and compelled to catch an image of the beauty, and show it to you. Floor lamps, table lamps, pierced tin globes hanging from the ceiling, spray a beautiful dusting of light fragments across the walls and ceiling. I found the sales staff very helpful and friendly. They even have an extensive book of client photos showing placement of their ceiling fixtures. My sense is that the store offers an installation service, hence the photo album. This book was instrumental in helping us make our choices for the perfect hanging lamps over our dining room table. With our lights now in place, we couldn't be happier, truly.
Please do step into this gem and lose yourself in possibility.
