Please respect our right to speak English. Should I bring my grade 3 diploma every time I shop?

One of the worst experience with rainchecks, mainly due to the lack of professionalism of supervisor Elham working there.

I asked for a raincheck but she simply replied she can't produce one and failed to give any good reason, only that she can't. Fortunately, an employee standing next to her said he could and did make a raincheck (valid for the next 14 days) for me. Eight days later, I went back to check on the stock. Still no stock. So, I wanted an extension to the raincheck as a customer should not have to waste their time every week to go check on stock. Miss Elham was again the person who answered me. She said could not extend the raincheck. However, she said she could make sure someone call me when stock is available. I was not convinced so I challenged her on how she would make sure someone will call me. She simply replied that she promises someone will call. Sure enough, no one called. I returned to the store at 10pm on the last day of the raincheck. There was stock. I went up to Miss Elham and asked her why no one called me when stock returned. She couldn't provide a convincing answer - she simply said that she wrote a note and that usually someone who have picked up the note and make the call. Clearly, she failed in her responsibilities and her job. She made a promise to a customer but failed to deliver. If she was serious about the promise, she could have simply made the call herself. Her lack of professionalism made shopping at the store a frustrating, time-consuming and disappointing experience.

It's ok.not a great layout but it works well enough.could have a better selection, but they're a little limited by the size of the store

The two missing stars to make it five is the parking situation. I don’t understand why they got this unhappy miserable person working there. I believe he needs glasses and a hug because there’s always spots available that I assume he can’t see and he’ll always make you wait at least 1-2 minutes before directing you like a robot to park.

They have the new scanners system (optional) where you can scan your groceries as you shop and put them in your bags right away, it's awesome

I always do my grocery shopping here I don’t go anywhere else. There’s so much options for food and such. Great service from the cashiers and folks on the floor. It’s very English there so you don’t have to worry about any language barriers.

Prix un peu excessif, notamment pour les produits type viande.

Horrible delivery service. I ordered delivery because I have a back injury and the delivery guy lashed out at me because I didn't help bring the bags from across the street. If it's delivery, it's supposed to be to the door.

Since the renovations, they are constantly running out of simple things you want to buy. Too often, what you are buying has expired and even when you tell them and come back two days later, the expired products are still sitting there. So beware of expired products! Check the date before you buy! Just a couple example. Coleslaw, meats and even cakes. All expired!

I love this Metro! As a long time client (30 years!) & the recent renovations, the staff have always been kind & helpful (especially when they moved where stuff was!) I find they always have exactly what I need as well as decent parking & good value for fresh produce that makes me happy!

Recently renovated. Everything feels fresh and clean. Big store with a wide variety of food items, including basic ethic ingredients. Excellent quality meat. Bought a AAA Grade Rib Roast using my Metro Points (love my points) - it melted in my mouth - what flavour! Small selection of fresh salads - pasta, potato, etc - good, but expensive. Offers freshly cooked meals (pizza, chicken, sushi). Has a nice freshly-made bread and dessert section. Has the best supermarket BBQ chicken in the west end. This is my favorite grocery store; it services the Westmount cliental, so it offers quality food and services.

Since the change of ownership at this Metro location, a rapid degradation in service standards, employee well-being (perceived), along with a staggering increase in prices has been noticed by me. The breadth of products in their butcher and fishmonger counter has also shrunk. Overall, I believe the dehumanization of the store (self-checkout, removal of staffed deli counter, etc) has a negative impact on shopping experience and I am looking at ways of doing my shopping at other local small grocers instead.

The best grocery store. It has everything you need including free parking, a great staff, and cleanliness. It will be even better with the new renovations!

High price, and was in construction. The door in street was closed because of construction, too.

I had a really bad experience from a Cashier, which I really not expected from such an esteemed supermarket. After picking up my items from the shelves, I proceeded to the cash counter, and NO cashier was present any of the counters (all cash counters seems like closed even though the store is still open). When she came back, i politely asked why nobody was in any of the cash counters, her answer was totally impolite. As a customer, I expect a polite answer from the people who are in service.

Il y a beaucoup de bons produits, de la diversité et de la qualité. Comptoirs assez bien organisés. J'aimerais trouver de petites olives de qualité et tapenade idem car pas bonne. Pâtisseries bof et à part des yaourts, nulle trace de crèmes caramel, cafés liégeois, mousses au café chocolat, ou autres. Un peu de variété ferait du bien. Le personnel est souvent charmant et efficace. La salle de bain est abominable. Les allées qui mènent aux caisses trop étroites. Les travaux en cours n'arrangent pas cet aspect, et je plains les caissières d'entendre non-stop les voix robotiques des caisses self-service (6 je crois) qui vont mettre du monde au chômage et déshumaniser. Les clients sont déjà fatigués de faire leur course et il faut en plus qu'ils remplacent les caissières maintenant. Sinon personnel en général serviable et compétent. Encore une fois de belles trouvailles au niveau des produits. Voilà l'ensemble, selon moi. Métro 4840 rue Sherbrooke Westmount NDG

Very relaxing calme place, with a very good people and choices of stores, no parking problems plus surrounded by public transportation

Highly surprised at the selection of products. I thought the store was way smaller than this, staff is welcoming.

The place is getting better and bigger. Love what they are doing. And people that work there are super nice.

They put these cool arrows on the ground, but much like all other directions in Westmount, the residents just assume that they can ignore them. Turns out that if you're rich, you can afford to ignore rules. How neat, I'm sure this attitude will work out for them in the long run.

Currently under construction therefore a little messy but I'm sure it'll be nice once the renovations are complete.

Really good quality products and so much variety! This metro store is quite special, has dedicated sections for more speciatly products and recently expanded (so even more selection).

It's pricey. I don't recommend the sushi. But they have a wide selection and the produce is pretty fresh. So if you have the bucks and can deal with some of the snooty attitudes it's good.

Their prices are absolutely bonkers compared to any grocery store in the city. I'm also very unimpressed by their lack of enforcement of social distancing - their clientele are all over the place, and they don't care because it's Westmount.

Honestly this place is quite expensive compared to other grocery stores but everyone knows that. Their fruits and vegetables are always so nice and fresh though so I don't mind paying a little more. Its always very clean and the employees are super nice

First grocery store I've heard run out of everything. Impressive reason to close early usually im just honest to my clients, but hey not the first time metro has lied to thier customers. The large greasy looking fellow in the velour track jacket frowning and gesturing shoe off to myself and the other people standing outside wondering why the door was locked was a good touch.

It’s a fantastic store, I’d say the best you can find in Montreal! Great produce with huge variety and selections and reasonable pricing. Love coming here as I live right around the corner. I come here all the time to buy snacks and they are open until 11 so I can go for the munchies late at night too! They’ve got so many snack selections that I truly satisfisfies my munchies needs!

This metro is nice and staff is very helpful but, as it is on a busy street and the parking lot is not big it can feel like a zoo.

Convenient but prices are increasing too much under new Management. Courteous helpful service. There is an urgent need for 4 more Disabled Parking spaces- 2 spaces are totally inadequate

I love this grocery Store. Every time I come to Montreal to visit my beloved sister, I buy lots of good things I can not find in Ohio U. S. A.
Highly Recommend!

Nothing really special about this metro aside from the location. It's very cramped in there and during high traffic times it can be a pain to maneuver through the store. All in all I wouldn't suggest this place.
