I bought a sectional last year, they promise to deliver in 2 months, but they delayed it 4 times. The customer service is so careless. They told me: you can cancel if you don't want to wait anymore. After my 3K was with them for a year, and the prices was already increased.

This is probably the worst furniture shop in whole of West Island!
I was supposed to get my sofa delivered mid July and I did not hear a thing from them.
When I called to check on my order status, I was told that my order delivery has been moved to September!
I received no email and no call from them. I asked when were they planning to inform me, in September? And he said we were about to call you today (co-incidentally the same day I called to Follow up, yeah sure!) about this information.
He shared no empathy towards the situation and no apology whatsoever!

This store holds no accountability for anything that they commit and they talk to the customers without understanding their urgency of the situation.
I have family visiting me in August end and I have no sofa at home.

There is no escalation point nor they have a process to speed up their deliveries or even an attempt to speed it up.

This is unacceptable!

Just stay away from this store!
Even the manager is not responsible.

I hope they run out of business and get thrown out of the market soon!

This is a worst furniture store ever
I have bought all appliances and a Sealy elegance mattress in 2021. They fool me to buy mattress cover which comes with extended warranty after 2 years the mattress goes bad it sagging and they refuse to replace it.

Update Again:

I guess it was too soon to increase back to 3-star. New issue on the last delivery, bought $903 worth of Dishwasher plus $32 junction box. Leon has delivered a wrong Dishwasher model today worth $803 without the feature we needed, and missed the junction box.

Now our 10 year old (still working) Dishwasher is gone (uninstalled and taken away). Therefore we will probably have no dishwasher during this Christmas "thanks" to Leon.

"Merry Christmas Leon and enjoy our pre-payments! "

Change back to 1-star forever now.

Issues were getting resolved one-by-one, increased to 3-star despite of the effort. Hope the remaining deliveries will be all ok.

Previous Review:

Price very good (4-star), quality ok as Leon does replace faulty components (3-star), seller agents excellent (5-star), VERY VERY VERY POOR delivery service (-10 star).

My parents have bought TV stand, Dishwasher, Bedroom Set and Washer/Dryer.after 5 deliveries/re-deliveries and still couldn't replace all the broken pieces.

Moreover, my poor 73-year old dad has to chase behind the delivery vehicle just because Leon made one digit mistake in the address and not able to re-share the corrected info to the delivery team.

Sometimes the delivery is delayed by hours and all a sudden cancelled. Sometimes the delivery is showing as already delivered but in fact not.

For that, my dad drove to Leon Store more than dozens maybe close to twenty times to get updates for the deliveries.yet issue is still not resolved. Today, he went back to Leon Store once again.

I recently purchased a bed, a mattress and a couch. I had problems putting together the bed and I thought that it was defective. I contacted Leon's customer service and they responded very quickly. Within a couple of days of my complaint a technician came to my house and resolved the problem. I was really surprised since I thought it would take a long time to fix the problem. Excellent service from their Customer Service Department and the technician (I forget his name). I am now a loyal customer and if I need any more furniture I wlll go to Leon's. Bravo Leon's Dorval!

I do not have experience with them as a client, but have a really frustrating and disrespectful experience as employee.
Sales Manager Ali Barghi offered me a position, and gave me 2 hours to take a decision to leave my current job and start working with Leon. So in a day I was there for training, and in the end of the day he told me that he has an emergency and will be out of the country for 2-3 weeks (so I was shocked since I left my previous job and still need to pay my bills somehow)

After 3,4,5,6 weeks Ali Barghi never contacted me, so I was calling and asking to talk to him, but always got the answer that he is on vacation. So I asked to talk to Store Manager Martin, but he told that there is no solution besides waiting for Ali and he has no idea when he is back.
Besides calling, I wrote several emails to Ali Barghi and never got the answer. For now I’m obviously not planning even to step into their store for their unprofessionalism and disrespectful behavior, so I just asked to be paid for my training day (no answer either) and they have ALL of my documents so far.
Please be careful with this people!

I ordered a set of dining table and chairs on Nov 28th. The salesman assured me that they would get inventory on December 20th. I paid in full. On December 22nd I start calling and emailing asking when would they deliver my dining set. They don't pick up their phone, you'll be put in the waiting queue for hours. I emailed them, I'd get the automatic reply that they have received my email but never reply to the actual email. On December 28th, I go in store and they tell me they will receive inventory in May!? ! That's 5 MONTHS later! Do not believe anything the salesman here tell you, they told me the price I paid is just that day, it was still the same price a whole month later. The customer service bad too, can't get a hold of them unless you come back to the store. Avoid Leon, you'll have a bad experience.

In June 2022 I arranged with Michel M to purchase a power recliner for my brother who has disabilities. I spoke to Michel M on the phone and arranged to meet with him to choose a chair. Drove from Ottawa and he was very welcoming, knowledgeable and showed me the chairs and their features. He arranged to have it delivered in 2 days and my brother was very happy with his new chair. Michel is an excellent salesperson. Thank you Michel and Leon's for your great service.

M Anouar pire Conseiller du magasin donne des information completement fausse dit ce que le client veut entendre pour avoir la vente a comission qui cest passe le 30 mars dernier donnant livraison le 18 aout tout etai disponible sauf la cuisiniere on est presentement le 28 juillet avec notre nouveau ne de moins de 1 mois et pere handicape suite a accident de travail en octobre et operation medicale suite au 30 mars en apellant faire un suivi sassurer que tous etait encore en regle pour se faire dire que rien navais ete reserver pour nous que le lave vaiselle est maintenant indisponible pour une duree indéterminée et que la date de livraison serai apres le 25 aout contenant seulement 2 sur 3 des électroménagers seule reponse quil nous donne cest que ils ne vont rien faire et nous laisser dans cette situation je recommande fortement daller dans un autre magasin ou des employes ont le respect et l'honnêteté comme valeur avant largent et ou vous ne resterez pas mal pris ou dans la meme situation que nous.

That was really bad experience with CS team. For my appliances delivery date was scheduled on June 1st. I have been following for 2 months and everything was going good until 30th of May. I received 2 calls confirming the delivery on June 1st but all of sudden a lady called me on 30th evening and said that they can’t deliver my appliances as promised because the inventory is at laval not in Anjou, my area comes under Anjou delivery. I really don’t understand how come you people came to know this one day before the delivery? That’s quite surprising because I placed order on March 3rd so no one in your store have knowledge about this? And the customer service team was terrible she was not at all listening to me. I had to pick the range myself because on June 1st i needed it. You guys spoiled my full day and thanks for your wonderful 100$ gift card which is definitely not worth of my full day efforts and stress.

Seems most of people complain about incredibly long delivery and not existising, useless customer service, but owner instead of fixing those problems just permanently asking to send him e-mail? For what?
It is easy to fix!
1. Stop to sell furniture that you can not deliver in realistic time. Covid can not be a permanent excuse - if you can not deliver it - stop to sell it!
2. Hire professional (not cheapest one) people for customer support and manage them properly.
So easy!

DO NOT BUY. They are selling furniture that not in the stock. We are waiting already 4+monhs for delivery (even it is "made in Canada") without any ETA. They will charge your credit card right away but you will wait forever for delivery. Customer service doesnt care about customer - not professional and useless.

A 'new' floor model fridge. Delivered damaged!
(physical damage not affecting operation of fridge - so far, after 1 month)
An identical "new-in-box" fridge delivered in exchange. More obvious damage than the original? !
No response to emails to "customer service" dept.
Only in-person visit got action.
3 options proposed, involving delivery of yet another fridge.
Sorry, trust is gone. Keeping the original (with 1yr warranty).
Accepting a gift certificate (increased from $100 to $150.)
I paid more than that in taxes!

I have 3 questions.
Just how much damage would it take before someone, somewhere, would have the courage to speak up and tell someone, somewhere, that this expensive appliance should not be delivered to the customer in that condition? !

Is there any moral, ethical courage to step up and say;
"I accidentally damaged a major appliance. " Without fear of derision, social media shaming, or losing their job? !

Does anyone, anywhere take any pride in just doing a good job? !

Customer service. Used to be a real thing. Back in the 20th century.

Never buy from leons, bought a leather sofa and love seat with warranty, I have no animals and my children are in high school and end of elementry school.normal wear and tear soposed to be covered but now i need to throw my two sofas away not even a year after and i spend over 3000 plus warranty 300+tx.digusting the way they tell you what you want to hear, do not buy a warranty. And do not buy a sofa from leons either, they looked nice but to realize they are cheap and crappily made rip off they take your money and screw you.

I can say that this was the worst service I have received in a very long time. We have bought a set of family room chairs with protection, first they delivered first 2 chairs and after about 2 months the loveseat and the sofa. They came right after the first delivery to apply the protection but then never showed up for the second delivery to apply the protection. When I called them, the lady on the phone, Melba, was beyond rude. I asked to talk to her manager and then she replied that there is no manager, when I insisted, she said the manager is busy and then she said your are not my only costumer and then hang up! Unbelievable costumer service.

Terrible, non existant customer service. I should have read all the poor reviews before buying. My freezer was late which I expected during the pandemic. But to ignore a customers voicemails and several emails is beyond deplorable. I had to physically drive to the store to book delivery once it arrived. (Hoping they won't mess that up.)
Never again. Completely useless staff.

I had bad experience not only once. Products are good and to some extent durable. But after sale service is really bad and not professional. I had a problem with my fridge They usually send a 3rd party company that has no professionalism, nor accuracy. They sent technician once and twice and even a 3rd time and the problem was never fixed. They refused at the end to do even an exchange although what was said from the customer service department on the phone was that we usually send a tech twice and if the problem still exist so we do an exchange Also very hard to reach on the phone

Nice layout and great location. The staff members are helpful and not judgemental as encountered in one of the competitors stores.

They try to offer help in any form and they are ready to answer any question with smile.

My wife and I are fire victims and needed new furniture. One of the items we purchased was a mattress. The mattress delivery date was pushed back three times. They informed me the supplier did not have the mattress, yet, in order to receive his commission. The salesman lied to us to receive his commission, knowing the mattress was not in stock. After several phone calls with the customer service dept, who were indifferent, impolite, and extremely unprofessional in their approach towards me. I was finally able to obtain a refund for the mattress. I will never purchase anything from that store again. I do not recommend buying anything from that store.

For purchases good, for after service very complicated.was given 3 different phone numbers from the staff at Leons as i have extended warranty and after 1 year and a half problem with our stove. Finally have a rendez vous.staff should make sure before giving any phone numbers.i need a new sofa, not sure if i want to return.

Looking for a swivel bar stool, the trip continue here.
At the entrance, a single sofa was on sales, comfortable and friendly in price, but that was not the item on agenda. The store featured contemporary style of furniture, price is mostly acceptable. However, there are not much choices on the item I am looking for. Probably will be back another time for other items.

Very bad experience! I bought the mattress of $1,200, which delayed delivery and within a week of usage, I informed them to take it back because it created me backpain every morning during waking up even they informed this is good for back support. They didn't take back, by saying worthless reasons. Now I had to buy another mattress of the same price from another store and so far I am good. Me and my family decided not to buy anything from there anymore. When I discussed with my colleagues they were also having another issues from Leon related with delivery delay and damaged products and they were also decided not to buy from Leon.

Je suis allée magasiner avec mon mari pour des nouveaux électroménagers. Le premier vendeur que nous avons croisé nous confirme qu'il pourra price match un frigo qu'on a vu ailleurs à plus petit prix et que si nous atteignons un montant de 4000$ et plus, nous aurions un rabais de 500$ (leur fameuse promotion). Nous avons attendu environ 30-45 minutes afin que le vendeur termine sa transaction avec un autre client. Voyant qu'il n'était pas prêt de terminer, nous avons commencé a chercher quelqu'un d'autres pour nous aider. Les autres vendeurs étaient tous assis au fond du magasin entrain de parler et rire sans même s'occuper de servir les nombreux clients en magasin. Le deuxième vendeur que nous croisons nous dit qu'il ne pourra pas faire le price match ET nous donner la promotion de 500$ comme le premier vendeur nous a dit (c'est soit un ou l'autre). La directrice de succursale est également venu pour nous dire la même chose (elle n'a même pas pris le temps de se présenter avec son nom ou quoi que ce soit). Elle a même pas essayer de nous donner quoi que ce soit pour les fausses infos qu'on nous donne en magasin ni pour le temps perdu. Vous venez de perdre deux clients et toutes leurs familles qui achète d'ailleurs beaucoup chez vous. Ah et aussi j'oubliais que vous avez perdu 10 000$ en vente d'électroménagers qu'un autre magasin a obtenu pour leur EXCELLENT service.:)

I recently bought a Samsung Washer/Dryer and a Samsung Fridge from Leons and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Varouj, the salesperson who helped me pick my appliances was very helpful and kind. It was clear that he was very knowledgeable and that he genuinely wanted to help me make the best decision. The rest of the staff were also great and friendly. I will definitely shop here again!

Highly recommend this store. We bought a reclining couch, and the sales rep Michael Carr, spent alot of time with us explaining to us all the features, and colours, even going so far as asking someone to move the chair from the show room to the entranceway so that we could see what the colour looked like in Natural lighting! He was so patient and helpful. Great customer service here and so happy with our new couch!

Great, big, and clean store with a lot of items to look through. Staff was helpful without being overbearing. This store, and the sales person Linda, made my shopping experience a million times better than the South Shore location. Would only shop from this Léon/Leon's location now.

Our previous experience with this particular Leon's had not been good at all (rude and dismissive salesperson, sale items not available, etc), so we were reluctant to try again. However when we saw the item we wanted on sale, we decided to give it another try.
What a difference! Our salesperson Linda P.went out of her way to help us find the item we were looking for and was helpful and friendly throughout. I would highly recommend her and will search her out in our next visit. Thanks!

I ordered a sofa advertised in their flyer on March 21 2021 and the delivery is end of june 2021. Its a shame because their quality is great but 3 months for delivery is too long and these items should not be advertised in their weekly flyer. Went to economax and received my order within the week.

Feb 14- Purchased Maytag washing machine from SALEMAN VAROOUJ who turned out to be the rudest salesman I have ever seen. The transaction took all of 8 minutes and it was torture, very mean tone SHOULD NOT IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY, As a result I went to Brault et Martineau got served exceptionally well. I will never be shopping at leons again.

Absolutely brutal order experience.

I probably could have taken a carpentry class, upholstery class, bought all the materials and built a couch myself faster than my delivery after all the push backs

You should shop here if you want to receive your item 3-5 years after your purchase. You should also shop here if you don't want information as your delivery gets pushed back every month.

Everyone says something different. Nobody knows where your item is or when it will get delivered.

Essentially. Shop here of you want to take money out of your bank account and get nothing in return.

A lot of choice for home furniture. Suzan was both friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find a comfortable mattress. Definitely worth coming in store to see the selection.
