Microbrasserie Pit Caribou - Pub Montréal

Beers are great, but a bit expensive. Food is super expensive for what it is and extremely bland. They need a crash-course on how to make a grilled-cheese sandwich. Staff is super friendly and service is good. Vibe is ok and music unremarkable.

More than disappointed. This place looks amazing and smells really good. Unfortunately turned to be a terrible night out for me and my friends. We waited so long for our dinner and it never arrived because it was never put through. The worst part is that they looked like they didn't care or even try to make it up.
PS, we all paid service charge on top of this, because we've got manners.

The beer selection was excellent and the food was very good. Regrettably, we were not served our entrées as the wait staff forgot.

Planchette du St-Laurent est un excellent choix pour les amateurs de poissons et fruits de mer. La Rillette est goûteuse. Les bourgots aussi. Le tout servi avec du pain chaud et accompagné d'une bonne bière rafraîchissante. Un vrai régal.

Très bonne soirée dans cette microbrasserie. Nous avons pu goûter bières locales. Tapas fait composés d’ingrédients locaux également. Tout était très bon, bonne ambiance et les serveurs supers sympas. Nous recommandons.

Very nice beer selection from this microbrewery originally from Gaspésie. They do flights, too, so you can try a lot of their best-selling beer.

I sat down with my friend at the bar and the bartender gave me a menu that was in French. I politely asked for an English one and the bartender with the big beard very rudely said NO. He clearly saw me struggling with the menu and didn't bother to help.

Other lady at the bar was very nice. Spoke to us nicely. Will not recommend if you don't speak French.

Bières artisanales de la gaspesie bien brassé.
Petite terrace bien aménagée. Pas de stationnement sauf sur la rue, je suggère le transport en commun ou le vélo, une bonne pratique pour déguster plus de produits.
Ils ont aussi des bières "invités "de microbrasseries québécoises qui sont également intéressantes. Belle ambiance avec un service très amical. Bravo.

While visiting Montreal, my wife and I wanted a good beer. I checked out reviews to narrow the field before selecting Pit Caribou.

Atmosphere-wise, this is a laid-back place where you won't have to shout over painfully loud music. The staff members know their menu well and are willing to share their opinions.

We had Pit Caribou beers - an orange IPA and a nitro robust porter. Both were solid beers, though we both preferred the IPA. We slightly regretted eating a mound of Chinese dumplings beforehand because the food items looked great, both on the menu and on the tables next to us.

One of my favourite hangouts. Almost don't want to write this review to keep it to myself

Je base mon expérience sur une soirée, un vendredi soir que j'ai été avec mes collègues de travail. C'était surchargé de gens
Pour 8 personnes, on a attendu 5 minutes à l'extérieur. Cela a pris 10 minutes pour avoir les premières consommations et j'ai commandé de la nourriture et elle n'est jamais arrivée. La serveuse n'avait pas l'air d'aimer son emploi, car je n'avais pas vu un seul sourire de sa part durant le temps qu'elle nous servais. C'est beau à l'intérieur, mais paraît petit quand il y a trop de monde.

Super, personnel très accueillant et attentif! On a pris une planchette de produits locaux, c’était délicieux!

Authentic countryside food and Gaspesie beer next to Lafontaine park. A must visit resturant and bar for beer lovers. The three boards (seafood, meat and vegetables) are equally delicious and worth a try. They come with fresh bread.

C’est la deuxième fois que je viens ici et les bières sont toujours excellentes, le service aussi. Nous avons du quitter la terrasse à 22: 00 et le serveur a été super il nous a bien prévenu à l’avance et expliqué.
Je recommande cet endroit chaleureux pour les amateurs de bière!

Ambiance sympatoche, bon accueil, les spécialités de bières sont très bonne. Mais pas très festif.

A pleasant neighborhood watering hole featuring microbrews made on location and a nice selection of guest beers. Tried a nut brown ale and a NEIPA, both were tasty and effective. The staff were great as well. Their menu is small but their “planchettes” were very tasty, especially the St. Laurent, which featured sea food.
