They are the best. Owner will always do her best to get you the best quality and best price for every mechanical peace you need. Mechanic know their thing and are passionate. If you have the curiosity thei'll explain haw everything works on your car. Amazing team.

Called ahead on our way to East coast as our "flex-pipe" on the exhaust broke. We pulled in, they took keys, immediately put it on hoist, they were wicked busy as well. Lowerd it down. Gave me a choice of "y-pipe" or cut old pipe out weld in new on. I chose the cut, weld. They told me 1 hour to 1.5 hours. Wife and I went for a walk. They called in 45mins. Couple hundred later, we were on our way. If I could rate 10 out of 10, I would.

Very happy with the service! Super nice folks that don't make you feel stupid for not knowing much about your car. They've kept my 2011 Chevrolet Cruze running for many years and I trust them each and every time something happens with my car. Nice bonus is that the mechanics are always willing to take you to your car while there working to show exactly what the issue is.

Steer clear of ANY Midas location! While it's understandable that most businesses aim to make a profit, these guys are solely focused on aggressive up-selling and overcharging. Whether you bring your vehicle in for a simple oil change or tire rotation, they will inevitably discover a "problem. " And mind you, it won't be some minor, affordable issue. A quick visit recently to have my oil changed at the Sources location turned into them claiming that my rear brakes were completely shot, suggesting immediate replacement, and asserting that all my shocks were worn out and needed urgent attention. All said and done, the bill would have been near a whopping $3000.00!

Instead, I consulted a close friend who happens to be a head mechanic at a nearby dealership. Within minutes, he informed me that my brakes were only partially worn out, my front shocks were fine, and only one of my rear shocks showed moderate wear. According to his professional assessment, I only needed to replace the two rear shocks. The final cost? Less than $500.00, including parts and labor!

Do yourself a favor and avoid these chain garages at all costs. Instead, seek out a local mechanic who values their customers and genuinely deserves your loyalty. Spare yourself the trouble of dealing with establishments that are solely interested in taking advantage of unsuspecting individuals.

Turning into the pkng lot of restaurant, 175 km from home I hit the curb hard and my tire bubbled. The good fortune of this incident is that it happened next door to this Midas shop, where I was counselled wisely as it was no longer safe to drive home. The owner was extremely helpful in suggesting the best solution for my situation and accepted to install two new tires even if purchased elsewhere because of time limitations. I very much appreciated their willingness to help me even if I couldn't wait for delivery of the tires that were needed if ordered by them. They fit me in for the tire installation and I was able to attend the funeral reception at the restaurant next door, while they worked on my car. I am very grateful for the service received. Thank you!

DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE, I REPEATE DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE. Literally use any other garage on the street except for this one. They were extremely unprofessional and very rude. Midas should revoke their franchise licenses on how horrible the managers treat their customers. This is the first place I have ever went to that had the more rudest people working there that I have ever seen in my life. If I could give ZERO STARS I would.

I had to have my tires changed due to a flat. The folks here took such great care to help me find the right tire and service my vehicle rapidly. They took the time to explain stuff to me respectfully. I’m definitely a new loyal client.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I won’t get into the fact that I was charged $45 to have my car looked at for a total of 5mins when bringing my car in for an alignment…the worst part about this location is their receptionist.
As a receptionist myself, I was absolutely disgusted by the lack of manners this woman has. In person and over the phone, she was incredibly condescending when explaining the suspension issues with my car, talked over me, was sighing/rolling her eyes and had no patience for a 2min conversation.
Not only that but her lack of knowledge was concerning…I had asked her to elaborate on the evaluation of my car several times as she was completely incoherent, continuing to repeat things like my tires are “bad”, my control arms are “bad”, my tie rod is “bad” and my breaks are “bad”.
After having my car properly looked at my own mechanic, I felt the need to leave a review as the information given to me was highly distorted.
I suggest hiring someone upfront who has some idea of what they’re talking about and doesn’t treat your customers like garbage, could go a long way.

Midas in Dollard-des-Ormeaux is run by the most honest people I have encountered in a very long time, when it comes to car services.

I brought my car and asked them to look into the suspension, as the dealer said it needed major repair.

For that repair, my insurance would cover most of it. I told them. I also told them what the dealer said.

They checked the car and told me that my suspension was rock solid. Like new.

So they had a very easy opportunity to make several thousand dollars, for a repair that I would most likely accept since it was covered by insurance and was confirmed by the dealer. But they just told me the truth and saved me a lot of money in co-insurance and deductible.

This is the exact opposite of what I have seen over and over, where you come for 1 thing and they try to make you pay for other things. (Like with my dealer)

They have done a few other repairs in my car, so they seem to be also competent and have reasonable prices.

I Have gone twice for AC fix and trunk fix. They are kind and pleasant and from reception to service make you feel like a friend. This was my second service there and I've never been disappointed. I gladly recommend this garage to anyone.

When you think about taking your car to the service it can take hours, I made an appointment early and 30 mins after my car was ready. The lady at the front desk was very nice and explain me in detail what my car needed.

Not gonna talk about the inspection fee, just gonna go straight to the wheel alignment. Mechanic took my vehicle, brought it into the shop, not even 30 seconds after bringing the vehicle into the shop, the mechanic said an alignment cannot be done because the tires are all worn out and cracked. It is a winter tire that has been used for 3 winters, 2 of which the vehicle was not used because of COVID thus remained home majority of the time. If they were worn out my local mechanic would have said my tires were already finished but it is not. I don't know what they were trying to sell, either they wanted me to buy new winter tires or buy a balancing service which I refuse to do. I came one service and that is all. Never coming to this location branch ever again.
