Milton B - Cafétéria Urbaine

Service excellent. Good almond croissant. Good space for work. Reason for three, rather than four, stars is the coffee.meh. If coffee is your raison d'etre, this is, as Guide Michelin says, " (not) worth a special detour. "

J'ai commandé via Ubereats un grilled cheese Milton (pain aux raisins, fromage brie et pommes). J'ai reçu un grilled cheese sur pain multigrain avec tranche de fromage kraft, cornichons et ce qui semble être du steak ou du jambon.

Ice cream size is a joke. Got a half spoon for $6 and dude was expecting a tip. Save yourself some money and go to the grocery store nearby and get a tub for the same price.

Absolutely loved my visit to this place. The ice creams were incredibly delicious, and what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was not only polite but also incredibly patient, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

My favorite study spot! The people who work here are the best. Specially La "q" he is a great guy, I'm a regular there and it honestly feels like visiting a friend, very welcoming. All my experiences have being good, except for an asian manager who was very very VERY rude, and reminded me six times in a sole interaction (?) that she was the manager, to which I finally replied "yes, but that doesn't mean you can be rude". Then she apologized but the harm was made. I tried to cancel my order and leave, and almost didn't comeback out of the bad experience I had with her. So beware of her, but the rest of the people in here are such a delight to interact with! There's pizzas, gelatos, boba teas, customized coffee, and everything is good and delicious. A clean and lovely place.

Great place to study, work or socialize. As a woman studying there in the middle the night on a regular basis I can say it's pretty safe. And the staff is really nice

Very convenient 24h cafeteria providing great service and food choices. Large indoor and outdoor seating area keeps ppl around. No pressure no issues just leisure. Happy find!

Great atmosphere to study or do work, went here plenty of times during the summer. Food was alright, wouldn't go here to dine as it was quite expensive for the quality but nice busy place to get work done

Les prix sont chère pour ce que la qualité et quantité. 2,50$ la pomme c’est légèrement chère. Le service était pas rapide les employés discutaient entre eux.

Milton B is one of my favorite places to go and study. The café is open 24 hours and always has a nice ambience to it. The pastries and cakes are lovely and there's a variety of more savory meals as well. Not to mention the music is top tier (soft jazz if you are wondering). I definitely recommend coming here for whatever work you may need to get done or whether it's to grab a drink or dessert:) ALSO the staff are super kind and friendly, making the place an absolute comfort to be at.

This place is unlike any other places for students desperate to study while everything is closed. Its opened 24 hours which is perfect for pulling a late study night, with almost every kind of food available. The decor and ambiance is very enjoyable, I didn’t need to cover the music with my headphones because the selection was great for studying. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly even at 5am. A really cozy coffee shop vibe, I will definitely be back!

This is one of the best places in Montreal. The service is absolutely fabulous and it's an amazing environment to study productively. The staff is incredible and very helpful. If you are preparing for an exam or having assignments, you can really do focused study here.

The posh and friendly look of this place is deceiving. I went as a visitor to Montreal and ordered a small poutine for 8.00. Grossly overpriced for the portion size. Since it was in downtown Montreal I had hopes that it would be good food but to my surprise it was nothing better than acceptable.

They have many signs saying that you have to spend $20 to stay for more than 3 hours; You have to spend 5 to stay for just 60 minutes. This place, although nicely designed, conveys the idea that you are spending money to merely sit there (not the food).

All in all, this is essentially the least student friendly place that I have been to (no exaggeration). Most of my reviews are very positive and I am genuinely not a tough critic. However, for three bites of a poutine that was mediocre at best, I left the establishment feeling robbed. I would expect better from a place that has mostly a clientele of students.

Perfect place to study! The atmosphere is amazing and their smoothies are exceptional. Whether you come at 5PM or 3AM, you will not be disappointed!

I would give -5 if that was an option. Low quality food, no service extremely expensive.don'tbloo at the prices in the menu.they charge you way more than that we had a luxury breakfast in eggspectation for $67. At Milton B we got trash food, in paper plate and single use spoons for $73. Stay away from this place as much as you can.

Stay away from this place. There is no service at all. You should go several times to the counter and ask for what you have ordered half an hour ago. It's not clean. It's super expensive. They serve your food in costco disposable plates. We (two adults+2 children) had breakfast there and paid 80 $. The day after we went to st. Huber restaurant in Quebec city, had appetizers+lunch+desserts and an excellent service and experienced a great hospitality and paid 100$. So stay away from this place.

Hands down my favourite study spot in montreal <3 the staff are beyond amazing and sweet.i came in at 4: 30AM attempting to write a paper with a very cluttered/stressed mind, & within less than 10 minutes my whole mood shifted after chatting with the angel upfront (who does not wish to be named). He's also doing his dissertation on the topic of my paper so this was honestly a sign from the universe.the pastries are SO delicious and the mango smoothie was v lovely.

UBER order. Whoever they have working the grill doesn't know how to cook.my sausages were literally burned to a crisp. Inedible. Waffle overdone as well. When I called there was no effort to make it right.

This is the new low standard of restaurant quality in what was once a great culinary city. This is one of those bad restaurants trying to make as much money with as low quality food possible. Trust me, eat somewhere else.

I do not recommend. It was my first and last time going. The owner was rude. The employees looked under pressure. Food was okay but nothing special. They even have poster saying that if you spend +3hr you have to spend a minimum of 20$… It says a lot about the only concern the owner has.

Edit: the personnel doesnt bother to even re-heat the croissant. When you order it, you will get it cold.

Awesome place to grab some snacks, deserts, coffee or Gelato and sit outside on a nice large terrace. Food is good all at reasonable prices.

I love this Coffee Shop, awsome pizza and food. Great service and the guy of the night shift works so hard and gives A+ service all the time. Try This coffee shop and get addicted!

It’s really a nice place. The staffs there are so respectful and nice. The great thing is that the coffee shop is in service 24 hours.

Good place but scared about hygiene.just saw a barista walk outside (last night), hug her dog, come back and make a coffee, holding the cup with same hands, without sanitizing or washing hands. Please give your staff at least basic sanitization training.

The goto spot for all McGill students living in/around the ghetto- and with it being open 24x7, the only one in it's league. The staff is lovely, and there is ample seating available.

ENG: Nice outdoor dining space. Employees were kind. Omelettes (deluxe and regular) were subpar—not really worth time or wait. Seems like a nice place to do work, but you’ll likely find better breakfast food elsewhere.

Its a very cool place to hangout with friends. Its open 24/7, offers great food and even greater drinks - hot and cold. Samosa, Vanilla Milk shake are the must to try.

One of university students favorite places to hangout and do school work, spacious and not loud. They also have a big outdoor terrace with roofs. Tables are well distanced. Looks like it has been recently renovated.

Poutine was edible but not the best.the fries was salty, soft and had a weird aftertaste.i recommend the strawberry banana milkshake! Only for take out at the moment due to covid.i also had the blueberry scone, it was delicious! If you have a little sweet craving in the middle of the night, Milton B is the place to go.ps: parking on the street.pay by card is best.even at 2am, the staff was really nice and polite)

This is my go-to study spot in the McGill student ghetto. It’s open 24/7 and only a 4-minute walk away from my apartment so I am able to study there any time of the day. They have a great study ambience with lots of seating and friendly staff. Despite having a some-what pricey menu, they have a great selection of study snacks and even meals. I especially love their cheese pizza and Montreal-style bagels. I definitely recommend this place to any McGill student that's looking for a study spot that isn’t McLennan!

Nice place to do some work and have some good food. Fairly well priced and large offering of food selection from salads to cakes. As a bonus they’re open 24hrs!

Fast service, a clean, comfortable environment, and the kindest staff anyone could ask for! I come here often in the afternoons and nights to study, and the staff are always friendly, professional, and personable. Friends and I noticed a few customers who come and stay without making a purchase. One does need to make a purchase in order to stay and work, but that is true at any café. Overall we are so happy to have such a café near McGill.
