Such a fun spot with an excellent wine selection, delicious popcorn & small bites. The staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the wine. This is the type of place you wish was in your neighborhood so you could go a few times per week!

Super endroit, je recommande fortement. Nous avions une réservation de groupe avec un menu à 35$/personne. C'était absolument délicieux et on avait du mal à finir tellement c'était copieux! Le service était excellent, l'atmosphère super sympa et la musique très bonne.

Parfait pour un 5 à 7 avec des collègues ou des amis. Vincent nous suggère toujours des bonnes bouteilles pour des prix plus que raisonnables. Je n’ai jamais été déçu et j’y suis aller plus que une dizaine de fois

Comment décrire mon expérience au monopole! Incomparable, dynamique et authentique! J’y étais pour leur 6e anniversaire et que dire de leur collaboration avec leurs fournisseurs qui ont fournis une extraordinaire sélection de vin… en plus d’un service incomparable! Mention spéciale à la shooter girl qui rendait la soirée mémorable! Cheers!

Resto vraiment surprenant. On ne se doute pas que ce petit café offre un menu gastronomique le soir à prix plus que raisonnable avec des produits québécois, simple, très bien fait et d'une finesse surprenante. Service très sympathique. On y retourneras c'est certain!

Spent February 14th at this place, we couldn’t make a better decision!

Everything is delicious

Bar très sympa que nous avons découvert par hasard. Il y a un large choix de vin et quelques cocktails bien réalisés. Nous n’avions pas prévus de manger là-bas car nous avions réservé ailleurs, mais nous avions vues sur les cuisiniers car nous étions assis au bar, et tout avait l’air incroyable avec également une belle présentation!

Excellent service. Wine by the glass were great especially the Beaujolais. All the food we ordered was great too.

Petit restaurant de quartier vraiment formidable! J’ai eu la chance d’être servie par Sébastien et toutes ses suggestions de vins et de plats étaient incroyables. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour souper où l’ambiance est relaxe, le service est chaleureux, la nourriture est délectable et le vin est succulent, c’est l’endroit tout indiqué.

Their mocha is great. They have a good variety of wines and their staff is super nice and competent.

Probably the friendliest, most adventurous, yet humblest place I've encountered in Montreal, especially when it comes to wines. Gabriel took us through the journey of exploring natural wines from different parts of the world, and his passion was so infectious that it made our day (and week)! I cannot stop talking about the food as well - Simplicity, and focus on delivering the best possible taste with a few ingredients is what Monopole excels at. The potatoes were phenomenal - be it the crisp exterior (with the mellifluous interior) or the subtle flavours that engulfed it. And the popcorn! Never thought I'd ever write a gloating review of popcorn and potatoes with Natural wines but any place that makes one happy with just the simplest of things needs to be preserved, and Monopole is exactly that. Do visit, and spend time exploring their phenomenal wine collection while you're at it.
