Mr Drain, he knows how to drain your wallet!

I called them about gurgling sounds in my pipes and very slow water draining. They came, unblocked the pipes (their saying) and charged me 500$. It did flow slightly better but the gurgling was still very obvious. Spoke with the owner on the phone and he told me that it was a venting issue and that my pipes were not well done to favor a good water flow. The employee on site tells me it should be about 500$ job to redo the plumbing with proper venting.

Few days later they come back and do the pipe arrangement. The bill is now 1500$, so basically 3 times what I was given as an estimate! AND the gurgling sound and the flow was NOT better! After another discussion with the owner on the phone, he tells me that I don't have an air vent through the roof and that maybe the gurgling might go away by itself. It's an old house they can't do much.   He tells me if it blocks again within the next 6 month they would be back free of charge. I'm unhappy, but I still pay them.

1 month later, the flow has become terrible, water comes back from the kitchen sink geyser style! I call them, they tell me it's my fault I'm making improper use of my kitchen sink and washing machine. If they come back they have to charge me. After a few texts they agree to look into this again. I call their office the next day, they tell me they will call me back,   and they never did!

These guys are total crooks, do not trust them, if you ever do business with them after reading my review and you get screwed, it's on you.

(I did business with another company right after, they came and charged me 600$, blockage is gone, no more sound, super flow.)

Had a bad experience with an installation. It caused further leaks and was not checked before they left. Also they were not ready to fix the leak. Had to call another plumber.

These guys are robbers!
I had drain issue in my garage while using laundry.
These guys comes, straightaway puts camera in the drain and tell me that sewer pipe is broken on my side. They charged me $575 without even trying to unclog the pipe.
They told me it needs excavation and need to replace the broken pipe and will need to break the entrance and will cost $10000
The other company comes and clear the clog and everything was fine (job rone in $250)
Beware of these robbers!

Travail rapide est bien fait. Cependant, je n'avais pas été avisé du tarif avant d'avoir la facture. 450$ + taxes pour 10 min de travail, c'est du vol. Je m'attendais à quelque chose de standard, du genre 100$ pour le déplacement + 70$ de l'heure.

Tasso a fait un excellent travail. Très professionnel. Nous avons eu beaucoup de difficulté à trouver un plombier pendant les vacances de la construction et Monsieur Drain et son équipe n'ont pas hésité à nous aider. Le prix n'était pas trop exorbitant non plus considérant la période des vacances!

C'est une compagnie à ÉVITER car ils dramatisent les dégât pour augmenter le prix et enfin ils vont tout détruire sans être responsable. Ils ont fait des travaux d'excavation chez nous et ils ont détruit le Drain francais sans qu'ils soient responsable, ils m'ont même volé des outils et ils n'ont même pas un balais pro pour nettoyer les saletés qui sont restées ainsi que la terre avec du ciment et l'excavation n'a même pas été bien rempli, j'étais obligé de tout laver d'acheter des roches et du gravier et de la terre pour réparer ce qu'ils ont détruit A EVITER et ils vont vous faire peur pour augmenter la facture. De plus, après les travaux, ils n'arrangent pas l'endroit qu'ils ont travaillé, de la terre et roche partout. C'est une compagnie non responsable et qui vole votre argent, à éviter.

Didn't complete the job and didn't want to come back after payment. Very rude on the phone. Don't use this company. I suggest using Montreal drain who offers a much better service.

I discovered that I had a symptom-less, partial clog in my 43 year old sewer pipe by accident while installing a hot water heater. If I could have successfully cleaned this partial clog myself, I would have, but on the advice of the city where I live, I called a professional in order to obtain the recommended hydro-jet technology. I approached 2 enterprises with a list of written questions, and Max at Monsieur Drain was the only one comfortable enough with my questions to give me believable answers, by phone and by email. My partial clog was located 5 feet from the basement clean-out, at the junction of a 4 inch ABS pipe and a 6 inch cement pipe, due to tree roots getting into the joint. Max had warned me that some roots are so soft that they can't be jetted off. So I decided ahead of time not to expect a final result that would look like the plumbing was brand new.
On the agreed day of their visit, technicians Lucas and Jonas telephoned me to say that would be able to arrive 90 minutes early. My situation made it easy and fast for them to set up their equipment. They made 3 successive attempts over 30 minutes to remove the blockage, each time removing a little more of the obstruction while using more aggressive tools and approaches. They left me a video of their combat from which I grabbed (after) photos to post here. Before leaving, they gave me good advice about how to best maintain my sewer drain and what options might be available in the future should the clog return. I realize that not everyone will obtain results as positive as mine, but I think Monsieur Drain deserves a crack at the bat.
