J’avais un rendez-vous prévu pour un alignment a 8h le matin. C’est seulement après une journée et nuit complète au garage et 4 appels plus tard, qu’il m’ont finalement avoué que leur machine était brisée. Pas idéal quand on dépend de notre voiture pour nos déplacements.

Got a quote for a muffler replacement (quote cost $46). $350 for the muffler, $320 installation. Got the identical muffler at an auto parts shop for $200 that same day, installation will be $90 at the shop near my house. $380 dollar difference, and $425 if including the quote. Just outrageous, bordering on criminal.

Worst place. Incompetent cheaters. Their good reviews should be from their relatives or inexperienced people.

J'ai apporté ma voiture la semaine dernière à cause d'une crevaison. Ils ont changé ma roue dans les temps et m'ont même reconduit à mon travail à 3 minutes de distance. Cependant, FAITES ATTENTION, ils m'ont recommender de changer mon steering hose au coût de $300. Après l'avoir inspecté dans mon garage habituel le hose est encore en bon état. N'écoutez pas leur recommendations! Allez vérifier avec un mécanique à qui vous faites confiance. Je recommande Justin's Garage sur Vanier!

I brought my car in last week because of a flat tire. They repaired it within the day and even brought me back to work (3 min drive). However, BE CAREFUL, they recommended to change my steering hose at a cost of $300. After I got it inspected at my favourite garage, the hose was still in great condition. Do not listen to their recommendations, go verify with a mechanic you trust. I recommend Justin`s Garage on Vanier!

Pretty good place! Fixed up some my exhaust in A1 condition! And did it pretty quick! A little pricey but too be expected.they did exactly what I wasled and the quote they gave was bang on.

Dommage que je ne peux pas inscrire O étoiles. N’aller pas la puisque selon mon expérience ça juste pas d’allure d’arracher de l’argent comme ça au gens et ils utilisent des matériaux aucunement de qualités. J’ai fait changer par eux tout mon silencieux pour un coût de plus de 1000$ un ans et un mois après j’ai dû retourner puisque une pièce du silencieux était toute pourris imaginez 1ans après puisque j’avais dépassé ma garanti de 1 mois ils m’on charger 550$ pour la même pièce qu’ils avaient changé 1 ans avant Donc un silencieux qui me coûte 1550$. Ajd dont 2 ans après les autres pièces doivent être également changer puisque qu’elles sont aussi toutes pourris. Voyons ma voiture est une 2011 juke Nissan mon silencieux a duré 8ans et c normal mais celui de Monsieur Muffler à duré 1 ans pensez vous que c normal ha que NON et le pire là dedans je ne peu rien faire.je vous le dit n’aller pas.

Service dangereux et incomplet. Je suis allé à ce Mr. Muffler pour un alignement complet suite au remplacement d’une pièce sur la suspension arrière. Regardez l’usure de mes pneus arrière après l’alignement et un voyage à Québec! J’ai presque eu un accident sur la neige. Lorsque j’ai été voir un mécanicien, il m’a dit qu’il aurait été impossible de faire l’ajustement arrière, car deux vis était trop rouillé. Je les ai fait remplacé et je suis retourné au Mr. Muffler. Je pensais au début que c’était une erreur de leur part. Ils ont refusés de terminer l’alignement. Ils auraient du me dire qu’ils n’ont pas pu compléter le travail la première fois. J’ai perdu 90$, deux pneus d’hiver arrière, et j’aurais très bien pu faire un accident.

Un peu chêr pour balancer 4 roues sur un cargo van (80$ + txs) pcq peuvent pas le lever sur le lift standard. Mais les roues on bien été balancées.

I'm contacting you because you requested more information.

I usually handle fixing my 2003 Rav4 on my own, I'll visit the garage and request the work.
This time I was too busy and asked my girlfriend to go for me.

I have an exhaust leak between my downpipe and my catalytic converter.
Simple fix, change the exhaust donut, new hardware. MAYBE two new flanges may be required. (Which was my 2minute assessment)
The entire exhaust system is rust free except the connections, it's typical, it's a toyota.

My girlfriend was told the ENTIRE system needed to be changed, that there were SEVERAL issues. It would cost 1700$ + tax
The technician wouldn't touch it unless the entire system was changed.

THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE SYSTEM, in fact I had another garage do an inspection.

Exhaust hangers: in pristine condition
Catalytic converter: Rust free except for the flange
Down Pipe: Rust free except for the flange

Your staff tried to ROB ME of my money, no other REAL technician would have quoted my girlfriend this much for such little work.

I'd gladly take pictures of the exhaust system, show you the only rust issues are at the connections and that the repairs were done and nothing is leaking.
My repair cost me a total of 75$.

And just for fun, I called two local parts store and inquired about an entire exhaust system for my 2003 Toyota Rav-4 It would have cost me under 800$ for the entire system.

I wonder if I would have received the same treatment, being that I am a man with a mechanical background?

I look forward hearing back from you, my uncle had a similar experience with your garage and his restored Ford EconoLine, your shop wouldn't even touch it. He was looking for an entire new exhaust system. They said they would not do any work, For fear that it's too old? They didn't even look underneath the car.not ONCE.

CROOKS! Tried to charge me 750$ for a 150$ job
Today i took my 06 civic for a small radiator leak which i had already inspected and knew it was at the bottom of the radiatior. I walk in and there was this grumpy guy at the front, he would laugh and smile with others but as soon as he would talk to me he would be serious face n grumpy (maybe its coz i speak english or maybe coz of my immigrant background i dunno)

They took my car to the back n i saw couple kids trynna find the leak from top of the engine with their torch lights. I patiently watched didn't wanna say anything coz it would be rude. Ten minutes later i finally told the guy that the leaks at the bottom you need to life up the car you cant see it from top, so finally they lift it up. Now again they didn't open the plastic cover protector at the bottom and they were pulling it down and looking in from tiny space with their torch lights. I told them you need to open the cover to see properly.

Anyhow they finally find the leak and show it to me. Now i was waiting for them to give me an estimate of how much itll cost to repair.

Ten minutes later the grumpy guy comes to me with a paper on a clip board and ask me to sign the paper, im like what is this so he explains that itll cost me 750 to replace the radiatior and if anything else they break during the process there could be extras since it's a 13 year old car. I told him you need to ask me if i want to do it or not you cant just ask me to sign i was only waiting for the estimate.

So after all this they wanted to charge me 70$$ for nothing coz it took them so much time to find the leak where in reality they were just playing around and waisting time.
It wouldve taken me maybe 5 minutes to do all that work.

Lesson learned! Don't go in here and if you do please ask them the cost of inspection before handing them your keys or you'll be surprised with end $$$

Une étoile? Oui, dommage qu'on ne puisse pas en mettre 0. Je suis amèrement déçu par ce garage. Je ne connaissais pas les garages de la région et on m'a envoyé à celui-ci par dépanneuse étant certifié CAA (ils ne devraient pas l'être). Je suis frustré en raison de: pensant avoir un problème avec ce qu'ils m'ont réparé à ce moment-là, je prend un rendez-vous avec eux.un matin tôt durant ma journée de congé (mon but était de régler le problème qui ne devait pas être gros). J'arrive d'avance et je me dis que j'ai le temps d'aller faire des commissions. Après 2h30 d'attente, aucunes nouvelles. J'appel et on me dit qu'ils ne l'avaient pas regardé encore, qu'ils n'avaient pas fini de regarder les autos de la semaine d'avant. Il m'a clairement dit: On est pas capable de respecter nos rendez-vous. QUOI? Pourquoi prendre un rendez-vous alors? Je ne me serais vraiment pas levé exprès! Pour couronner le tout, le garagiste était très méfiant, directement devant moi, par rapport à mes questions totalement légitimes, en me répondant un peu comme si j'étais un idiot. Pourtant c'était une de ses réponses qui était idiote (j'avais déjà eu ma réponse d'un garagiste de confiance, il a échoué mon test). En espérant que ce long commentaire aide des consommateurs et merci de me lire.

Girlfriend heard a rubbing noise at slow speeds. She brought her car in and they said the sound was caused by the brakes. They charged 500 dollars to change pads and rotors on the back.

Got the car back and the exact same sound was there just as loud.

Disappointed that they confirmed the source of the sound and then said they fixed it. It would have been much better if they had have said "We're not sure what the sound is, but it looks like your rear brakes need to be changed. " That way the customer could make a more informed decision.
