Read the reviews! Will not recommend- 1st time customer and I am very disappointed- 1st told me my entire muffler needed change and quoted me at $1000 + I told them the muffler was new that it was a hole somewhere else and then told me oh! It was only a leek in the resonator, quoted me at $600- i asked them to change the links which were making noise I know what noise the links make when they need to be changed- no problem changed the links. The problem was when I drove the car to the local grocery store and the links in the front left side still making the same noise, they guy in the front was rude! Poor customer Service and of course I was disappointed bc I had just dropped $900 + at their shop - he tried to tell me it was something else and got even more rude! They did not test drove the car to make sure the job was well done, this is what good mechanics do they ALL Test drive the cars, he got mad at me for saying that- instead of being patient and curtious he was rude, instead of saying I understand let us take a look, as a curtesy and I can see how it can be upsetting, he got defensive! It was not so much the service but how this guy treated me and reacted. Just cause I’m a chick it doesn’t mean I don’t know about cars or know my car, he told me to go fix it myself. At the end I just said thank you and I’ll leave a review- he told me he would remember me too. He needs to take lessons in customer service, I’m never ever going back.

They were rude on the phone and refused to do a wheel alignment because I had work done to my vehicle at another garage that doesn't have the equipment to do alignments. Would not recommend to anyone

Charged me $350 for nothing more than i already knew, when i asked for transmission diagnostic, said they addad 3 liter of oil, could not even tell me what colour the fluid was or if it had metal shavings, quoted me $11,000 for a new transmission.

I called for a problem with my truck and they took it in right away and next day it was fixed!

Rip-off. Went in with noisy exhaust. They quoted me 2500$ to replace the ENTIRE exhaust system, which I knew wasn't right. Turns out the only thing that needed to be replaced is a gasket and the resonator. Got it done professionally for 400$.

Skip larger chains go to a smaller mechanic they'll take better care of you. I can't imagine they amount of people who get ripped off cause they don't know any better.

They fixed me right up. Thanks Mr Muffler. Even that Jean-Pierre fellow was a pleasure to chat with while waitting.

On April 19th, I had them change my tires in preparation for summer, since Nissan service had delays during COVID. They initially seemed to do a good job, and I was glad with the service. One month later, I started hearing noises coming from the right side of my car, along with vibrations. After taking the car to Nissan service and spending time with the technician, we noticed that the nuts on my wheels were lose, and that I had lost a couple on my right wheel. This likely also caused the bearings on the right wheel to be damaged, which now need to be replaced. Hopefully no further damage will be found, but either way, clearly I would not recommend this garage.

Don’t even waste your time and money at this garage, they charge me 500 bucks to change a part of my car muffler that I fix a couple of month ago, with a life time warranty. AVOID THIS GARAGE! They are trieves! Worse place that I have ever been!

My son took his vehicle in to have summer tires and rims installed. Was told that he needed a new bearing which they did. Two days later, hub was cracked and told he’d need to now replace hub, bearing once again (N/C) and cv axle. Service tech/mechanic was inflammatory and downright belligerent with my son when confronting him with info from two other mechanics he knew, one a Honda mechanic. Finally was refunded a small amount by the owner but still was out of pocket $$$. Owner is great but situation was very unpleasant I can’t help but feel that 2nd repair was due to mechanic error in first place.

Très bon travail parcontre un peu long. J'avais un rendez vous pour changer des pneus sur jantes, ils ont commencé le travail 1h plus tard.ce qui devrait prendre 30min max à pris 1h 30min.

They broke something on my car, then charged me to fix it, I was held hostage, it was that or pay to get my car towed elsewhere.

Soyez prudent. Je n'ai pas eu une très belle expérience chez Mr. Muffler à Aylmer. Je me suis présenté au garage pour un simple changement d'huile avec ma Mazda 2012. Ils m'ont rappelé pour me dire qu'il y avait plusieurs réparations à effectuer: changer la suspension arrière et avant, l'huile de transmission, l'huile de servodirection et l'antigel (prestone), etc. Je leur ai dit qu'ils pouvaient changer l'antigel tant qu'à être au garage, ce qu'ils ont fait.

Surprise lorsque j'ai pris la route le lendemain matin. Après 100 km sur l'autoroute, la lumière de surchauffe du moteur s'allume. Je me range et je constate qu'il n'y a aucun liquide antigel dans mon réservoir. Il est largement en dessous du minimum. Je dois arrêter à une station service pour rajouter moi-même le prestone manquant. Après vérification, je n'avais aucune fuite d'antigel, c'est le mécanicien de Mr. Muffler qui n'en avait pas mis assez.

Bref, je rappel pour me plaindre et en guise d'excuse, ils m'offrent un certificat de changement d'huile gratuit. Bon, je me dis que c'est au moins ça et que malgré tout, rien de grave n'est arrivé.

Récemment, j'ai pris rendez-vous pour profiter de mon changement d'huile gratuit. Évidemment, je savais qu'ils allaient encore en profiter pour inspecter mon véhicule pour m'inciter à faire des réparations coûteuses. C'est exactement ce qui est arrivé encore une fois. Je ne dis pas qu'il n'y a pas de réparation à effectuer sur mon véhicule, mais voilà. Le préposé m'explique qu'il y a la suspension avant/arrière à changer, la courroie de la pompe à eau / air climatisé, l'huile de servodirection, etc.etc.jusqu'à ce qu'ils me disent: " Votre antigel n'est pas réglementaire, il sera aussi à changer".

À partir de cet instant, ils m'ont complètement perdu comme client. Je suis désolé, mais ce sont eux qui ont changé mon antigel il y a à peine 1 an, comment c'est possible qu'il soit encore à changer? Je ne trouve pas que ce garage est honnête. Malgré des employés sympathiques, il n'en demeure pas moins qu'ils semblent profiter de la naiveté de leur client en les incitant à effectuer des réparations ou de la maintenance non nécessaire sur leur véhicule.

Le seul conseil que je peux vous donner c'est: n'hésitez pas à vérifier le travail du mécanicien et surtout, allez chercher un 2e avis d'un autre mécanicien de confiance s'il y a des réparations à effectuer sur votre véhicule. En ce qui me concerne, c'est terminé pour moi, je ne retournerai pas à ce garage.

Bunch of thieves! Went for a 130$ wheel alignment and left with a 3000$ bill! MY mechanic reviewed their statement and flat out called them crooks. Avoid these guys, at all cost! Pun intended I guess ‍️

Went in to get an estimate for a muffler repair, after paying the inspection fee, another place down the road offered to fix it for $2,165 less. It really pays to get other opinions.

I had a great first experience. Went in to get an estimate to fix my muffler, even went into the garage to see the problem and they offered to fix it right away. Gave me options on the repairs with price quotes. Once I got my bill I looked up prices of parts online and they charged me the right prices. Not CAA approved but still did a great job and answered all of my questions. Read other reviews with bad experiences and told them I was worried (being a young woman) but they have a guarante on the repairs and said I could come back if same problem occurred. Drove my car home and was satisfied with how my car sounded. Very happy:) thank you

J'appel celui de Gatineau et le prix est de 80$.
Je vous conseil d aller ailleurs.

I went in for a routine tire change, and 20 minutes in i got a call saying the mechanic broke my lug nut key. With no compensation for their actions I had to go and pay $73 out of my pocket for their mistake. The clerk over the phone completely put the blame on me, instead of owning up to their mistakes and replace my lug nut key they managed to break.

Asked for a simple opinion while the guy was next to my vehicle.the guy wanted to give me an appointment right away.so I repeated, all I want is for you to listen and give an opinion. NOT GONNA GET ME TO PAY ANYTHING. YOU CERTAINLY WONT GET ANY OF MY BUSINESS. NEVER!

Did not go there but called to ask. Their estimation for installing a part was way more expensive than other auto centre.

Spend more then $500 on my exhaust, they told me the muffler part need to change, after 2 month the same problem come back, went back check with them, they told me I need to spend another $500 to change the other part pipe which connect to muffler part, what a joke, it was exactly same problem as the first time, the connect part get rust and broke, they told me change muffler part first and wait me come back to change another part, so smart on business!

Nous allons sur McConnell depuis 9 ans. Très bon service, poli et courtois (aucune attitude du genre « ma p’tite Madame »). Ils nous donnent l’heure juste lorsqu’il y a des réparations à faire (ou à ne pas faire).

I had a terrible experience over the phone with them. I was requesting a quote. I spoke with the manager who is very rude. Called head office to make a complaint. Will take my business elsewhere.

I have known this crew for years! They take great pride in what they do, and their goal of client satisfaction is second to none! This is obvious. What a bad experience. I took my car there for a diagnostic and to fix is 315$ + diagnostic fee 52$ but they couldn't fix because I have to wait for for 2 weeks the parts. So I called the dealer to fix it and they will charge the same job for 215$. I can't believe they charge me more than the dealer. Also after I took the car home I went for a car wash and notice that the water was leaking through the roof so I opened the trunk and realized they didn't close it properly after they diagnose the problem of the reason that I brought it in. So unreliable and ridiculous price.
