Monsieur Taouk

Personnel très gentil et accueillant, nourriture très bonne, on s’est régalé
On a bien mangé allahamdoulah!

Monsieur Taouk est un restaurant (comptoir) de cuisine libanaise qui sert de très bon mets. Cependant, ces dernières années, Monsieur Taouk a suivi le mouvement de la hausse de prix démesuré ce qui fait qu'il est rendu difficule d'y manger pour moins de 15$. Les clients se font rare et on devine ce qui va arriver à Monsieur Taouk s'il ne revise pas ces prix à la baisse. Probablement le même sort que ses voisins qui ont fermé.

I tried the mixed meat Shawarma to go. The portion here is huge. To start off the servers are very generous with the rice and potatoes. I’m happy as the potatoes are really really good. He filled the container with them. Not to worry then he piled the shaved meats on it. The heaps are so high that he can hardly close the box. I’ve been to many shawarma places in Quebec and Ottawa area. (See my other reviews) I think this place serves the biggest portion. He’s also generous with the sauce. Ask for any sauce he will give to you. The meats are soft and tasty. Then we get a freshly roasted pita pocket bread
Really good food here. We will return.

Ils ont le meilleur shish taouk que j'ai jamais essayé, c'est délicieux, ça a l'air très propre, c'est fait maison et les ingrédients sont frais. Le service est également excellent.

J’aimais beaucoup mieux le pita taouk d’avant, il y a un ingrédient qui goûte un peu trop la bouffe indienne.
