Mont Sutton

Excellent place even with the weather, it was special to be able to get in touch with nature and walk among the fall colors! If you have children, take them, you don't need to go anymore, there is the option to walk without paying a single dollar!

Complètement illogique que la tyrolienne ferme aussitôt durant la période de l'automne. Les plus belles couleurs de la saison commence à peine à vivre.

My first visit to M’ont Sutton. Came from Toronto to enjoy the fall view. It was mesmerizing. Enjoyed the chairlift ride and all the staffs were so helpful. We even got a glimpse of the rainbow after a short rain. All the toilets were in good condition. But there were no changing tables for kids.

Ne mangez surtout pas à la cafétéria. Les frites manquaient de cuisson, les burgers étaient froids et les boulettes n'avaient ni le goût ni la texture du boeuf. Et évidemment c'était très cher. À éviter.

Une place excellente pour visiter non seulement pour les ski en hiver mais en été/automne pour une belle randonnée! Nous sommes allez en septembre, les vues étaient incroyables! Un coucher du soleil inoubliable. Il y a une possibilité de camping, il faut le réserver sur un autre site que le passé pour la rando, mais les prix sont raisonnables. Le parking est gratuit puis il y en à presque toujours.

Nous sommes arrivés tôt le matin, le sentier pour aller au sommet était très tranquille. Le chemin en dessous des télésièges était bouetteux. Le chemin manque d'indications.

Nice hikes. Can't speak for skiing although the chairlifts and station is on the old side compare to other major ones in Quebec.

Des couleurs extra. Attentions le mont de pente ne fonctionne pas la semaine, juste les week-end. Vous devez montez et redescendre à pieds.

Super accueil à la montagne avec des groupes scolaires. Moniteur compétent et des sentiers adaptés pour tous. Un énorme merci et à la prochaine!

Très belle place, super ambiance de montage. J'ai fait l'expérience de la tyrolienne et WOW j'ai adoré. Le personnel est à l'écoute c'est génial.

Great place to visit for camping and hiking. Resort operators provide firewood, drinking water, and washrooms for mountaintop campers.
Best time to visit is late summer to early fall. Wake up early and go see the sunrise from Round Top.

Try to visit late summer or early fall just after the summer high season.

Super pour la randonnée, le vélo de montagne, le ski, la raquette.la nature à son meilleur.
Attention randonneurs, les indications manquent. Facile de se perdre.

La nouvelle Tyrilienne est maintenant ouverte. J'e l'ai essayée. Nous sommes très bien accompagné avant le départ et c'est très sécuritaire. La descente offre de très beau points de vue! Je le referai certainement! J'imagine le paysage incroyable durant la saison des couleurs!

Très belle montagne pour s’amuser peu importe les conditions mais certaines fois l’entretien des pistes est négligé. Comme nulle part ailleurs

Great ski mountain, but also wonderful for hiking outside the ski season. Lot's of different trails and lifts. There are several chalets as well.

Très belle station de ski. Paysage magnifique. Un peu cher pour skier en famille. Les installations sont vieillissantes, mais ils ont un excellent service.

Really enjoyed the 3 days we spent recently at Sutton. We missed the fresh snow but enjoyed amazing spring skiing conditions instead. Unlike some other reviews, our experience with the lifts wasn't great. We had some really long lines and waiting to get up the mountain that really took away from the experience. It's not a big mountain and there were times where we hardly squeezed in 2 runs in an hour. The old lifts may be charming, but I'd say it's time to upgrade. Overall, would love to come back, especially with fresh snow in the glades, and hope some money is invested uphill capacity before then.

Absolutely beautiful mountain. Recommend going to ski or snowboard there it is amazing.

As an expert skier, the views took my breath away and the slopes were just so nice and challenging. Almost every slope is a black diamond or higher. There were multiple double diamond or triple diamond. If you're an advanced skier, I highly recommend Sutton. If you like to be immersed in nature with trees all around, just go to Sutton it really is an amazing experience!

For beginners I would not recommend to go there to learn how to ski for the first time. However, it is a beautiful mountain with many slopes so if you are going with friends that are better at ski than you are, you can still go to sutton if you really want to or wait till you get better. There are some "green circle" slopes but the "easy" slopes can be considered as medium level or blue square level slopes. So, unless you are accompanied with intermediate level skiers, I would not recommend beginners to go alone, you will definitely have some trouble.

It is an amazing mountain with spectacular views!

A great mountain for all winter activities, they have a rental office for all needed equipments. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Too crowded in the beginner/advanced sections.

Expert section had zero wait time for chair lift and conditions were amazing.

Really slow to get rental gear, lines are long for the lift But the hill is okay.and compered to other hills they are much faster with rentals

Excellente montagne de ski. Piste enneigé et qui a été bien damé, sous-bois difficile avec des points de vue extraordinaire, et une difficulté parfaite. Je recommande fortement

Variété de sous-bois et ski ski de forêt incroyable.
Atmosphère rétro.
Secteur d’apprentissage avec propre remontée.
Beaucoup de terrain pour tous les niveaux.
Points faibles:
Remontées vielles et pas toujours fiables.
Horaires et ouvertures des remontées pas toujours adaptées avec l’achalandage.
La neige se transforme malheureusement souvent en pluie.

Went skiing with my girlfriend during covid times and the experience was still wonderful and had a blast, the hills are clean and challenging. Great experience A-1.

Amazing. We normally ski the Ottawa/Outaouais region. With the occasional trip to Tremblant. This is our favorite. Great staff. Lineups aren't too bad. Long runs. Great variety of terrain and difficulties. 5 stars!

Lots of different areas with terrain types for all skill levels. Great spot to ski powder when it's fresh!

Walked about halfway up, the chairlift had stopped for the season the previous weekend. Great countryside, ideal for any action man.or woman. Numerous mountain bikes about, lots of walking tracks. I did notice vertical metal pipes on the side of the hills, (these may be used for spraying out extra snow? I'm not sure) Easy drive up and plenty of parking. It was the end of Autumn though. (No snow)

Mont Sutton is a well know ski resort. But during summer it is also a hiking trail. The view on top is beautiful. Specially during fall. The trail itself is nice. I only give 4 stars because of the lack of indication and the so-called lake - it is more a swamp than a lake.

Chalet et toilettes ont besoin de rénos. Mais la montagne est formidable. Ma préférée et celle des mes enfants dans les environs.

In hunting for Autumn colours, one of the best places to see. Plan ahead, a lot to walk and a lot of time to find parking. Go around the main spot and park from the other side of tue Challet 400m. Much easier.

Best place to ski glades runs anywhere in Canada. Many notable improvements made in recent time should ensure continued success and superior conditions.

Great terrain and good facilties. Not a huge resort but adequate. Not too busy. The only downside was some lifts were slow.

A must visit to see the Fall Foliage.
The chair-lifts take you through the woods.

Love visiting here because I used to live in Sutton, Quebec and hold fond memories. I remember the ski trail being put in. Our farmhouse where I was born is down the mountain on Parmenter Road. I live in Bath, Ontario now near Kingston, Ontario.

Très beaux sentiers. Mais faites attention! Les entiers sont très mals indiqués et il est facile de s'y perdre. Nous avons commencé notre randonnée au Diable Vert, pour ensuite se retrouver au Mont Sutton et ainsi la terminer 3 jours plus tard. À MAGOG! Après avoir payé 168$ de taxi, nous avons pu revenir récupérer notre véhicule. Les enfants étaient épuisés. Notre chien Dolly aussi. Ce fut pénible et interminable. Attention aux Ours Noirs. Enfin!

Meilleur centre de ski au Québec! Idéal pour skier en famille pendant l'hiver ainsi que pour se promener en montagne durant l'été!

Very poor information and the trails and ski slopes not properly marked. But the view is beautiful from the peak.

The scenery is breathtaking. I didn't go all the way to the top, I would have but was with the little ones. From what I saw the mountain bike trails are top notch. Many trails and little jumps, not sure if there are bigger ones.

Ma montagne préféré! Ne vous attendez pas à des descentes de 20min comme dans les Alpes mais si vous connaissez les montagnes du québec, c'est une des meilleurs! Si vous etes adepte des sous-bois, vous serez servis comme jamais. Je crois qu'il sont classer dans les top au Canada (corrigez-moi si je me trompe).

Toujours agréable de visiter, été comme hiver ce centre rustique et accueillant. Personnel très chaleureux et serviable durant la saison de ski.

Les morons qui ont fait les traces ont oublié de couper le bois en haut du quatre ouest, aurait ete bcp moins moron de couper et mettre une grosse pancarte davertissement de croisement perpendiculaire bo real youppe, quon aurait vu au lieu de rien voir a cause des arbres.

A great way to celebrate the Swiss national holiday. Great fun for the whole family. Food, a selection of steak, cervela, cheese fondue, wurst salat, and racklette. Beer and wine, take the ski lift to the top of the mountain.

Superbe montagne, pour tout types de skieurs, énorme quantité de sous-bois, et un park très amical pour les débutants. Par contre, faire attention le parking est énormément venteux, c'est désagréable en arrivant mais une fois sur la montagne ce n'est plus un problème.

Si seulement ils avaient du budget pour entretenir les pistes. Après une bonne chute de neige c'est un paradis, sinon.

After going to Mont Tremblant and Sutton, I would do Sutton every time. It's a great mountain with varying levels of difficulty. There is no night skiing here.stay at the chalets at the foot of the mountain if you have a chance.

Love this mountain. Hills for everyone, friendly atmosphere. They have a deal for next year pass. Also have real coffee with a barista. We had some cool fog yesterday, excellent spring conditions.

Une des plus belles montagnes du Québec surtout pour ceux qui aiment le ski naturel. Fortement conseillé quand la neige est au rendez-vous.
