The skiing was outstanding. Long runs with varied terrain options. The surrounding village experience was fun. My only advice would be to try and avoid the weekends as they can get quite busy and the lines are long.
Love this place. Usually always have a great time here! Would have giving it 5 stars but we were really disappointed in the face that they don't inspect their park features every morning. First run, my son hit a box that he hit 10 or more times the day before and destroyed his snowboard. Yeah, ruined a perfectly good vacation!
My advice- don’t take candy out of the mouth of a child. It’s a great resort with great skiing, beautiful views, but you took it all away by shutting down early. And three runs are not quite enough. There should have been a way down the mountain other than going to the top. My advice: leave a sweet taste in the mouth, not otherwise.
Lovely place, many different food options. Prices are what you would expect in a vacation resort, pretty expensive. However the food and drinks are amazing as well as the service. English friendly, if you only speak English this resort town will be fairly easy for you to communicate with staff.
Beware.they are refusing to refund us and telling is we should still come after we had to cancel due needing to follow isolation protocol in Ontario (family member with high risk exposure + symptomatic). Management wrote to us "We understand how worried you are and that Toronto Public Health recommends you stay isolated, which you will be when your family is isolated in the condo, just as you are at home. Rest assured we at Tremblant take this matter very seriously. " Really? ! Asking us to break isolation and travel from Ontario? Quebec is currently in a state of emergency due to covid. Mt Tremblant is clearly not following the covid precautions they are advertising, and clearly pointing out they do not value their guests' loyalty or safety.
The resort has something to do for everyone. The process of getting to the lifts, getting rentals, tickets etc.is very well organized and professional. Our most recent family trip went wonderfully and we are all eager to go back.
Very disappointed in the organization of this resort. There is no information provided until you experience the countless lines, online forms, PCR tests, and frustrated employees (who are doing the best they can given the lack of clarity). We have spent over $35,000 to be here and it’s just a mess so far.
If there is a better mountain on the east end I haven't seen it (maybe Massif). Tremblant is great. The runs are awesome, the village is great. The day time is very family friendly and the evenings I have gotten some club time at the bars at night. I would avoid going in warmer weather as it gets very foggy.
Also great customer service.had a few issues that were addressed promptly. We had ski-in ski-out and great eats @slopeside condo after adventures on the mountain ️
It’s a great place, has nice facility and great capacity, friendly staff.
This time we stayed at the resort, Les Suites Tremblant. It was exceeding my expectations. The rooms are actually larger than the pictures. The beds are comfy. Breakfast was ok. (Since the room price was so affordable and we did not expect any breakfast. It was a surprise)
I wish I could give no stars. It is December 27th, and 1/2 of the restaurants in the village are closed, so w of those that are open have last seating at 6: 30PM! What are they thinking?
Très belle régions! Parfait pour vos vacances en familles! Il y a de tout en sport et loisirs Venez vous amusez dans nos belle montagne! Mont -Tremblant n'attend que vous!
We been mont tremblant for multiple times. But this time makes me feel so unhappy and uncomfortable. The first day we missed our kids snowboard lesson due to our late, I know is our problem. So we accepted the result that we need to pay extra rebook the lesson. We asked the staff that we could book in the same day before 10am for the 3-5 age group which will be begin at 12: 30. But the second day we came back and tried to book at 9: 35am, the another staff insisted to say that we need to book before 24 hours. I think you guys should train staff with the same guidelines, so we don’t need to come back again with nothing but our kids disappointments.
You have no idea what I feel at the time that your staff insisted to say we could not book for the same day snowboard lesson, when I told my kids that daddy could not book the lesson, they’re eyes are fulfilling disappointment.
We drived 7 hours from Toronto to mont tremblant, we was having huge expectations for this official family especially during the pandemic time, we can’t travel for 2 years already.
I went to mont tremblant when I was single with my friends,I have great experiences and willing to share with my boyfriend which is my kids daddy right now.
When I met my husband, I host a trip with him and another couple, we also have wonderful memories.
But I can’t understand why turns to my kids, it goes like this.
The visit was pretty disappointing, especially for the steep cost.
Spent a good amount of time in lines or on lifts with the lifts constantly stopping. Bought tickets online, but still had to line up to print off tickets, and wait in another line for vaccine and ID approval, and a tab for the lift pass. Took us about 1.5 hours just to get on our first run.
The runs themselves were very pretty. A lot of ice patches, which would have been less of an issue if other skiers and boarders had manners. The runs were extremeley crowded and dominated by skiers and boarders with no respect for others on the hill. The three of us were constantly getting cut off or almost hit even though we kept mostly to the side. Lots of people bombing, or others who should have been on easier slopes. Ski patrol was nowhere in sight, so nothing was being monitered.
I'm not sure if our experience was due to the time of year that we went, but overall not worth the $150 tickets, especially when the hill closes so early. The last chairs up were from 3-3: 30. The expense, plus driving time and gas, and the expensive surrounding hotels do not justify the experience. Unfortunate.
Amazing experience. Feels like you are visiting a tailor made city. So beautiful and perfect. I am not a ski fan but I still had options to explore the place.
Nov. 1-5,2021. An great visit and super relaxing time. But when they say off-season they really mean it. The village was super dead, almost everything closed for several weeks. Deer take over the village and you may not see another person.
Wow, what an amazing experience. It was fairly busy, but they kept everything running smoothly. Anything you could ever want in one little area. The Fall colours were remarkable, food was great at the Bullseye restaurant in the village!
Perfect for quick getaways from Ottawa or Montreal. Short enough drive that you can do a day trip or extended stay.
Mont-Tremblant is the highest mountain in the Quebec Laurentians. This time of year it is so beautiful with the fall colors. It is a wonderful resort area with lots to do.
The pedestrian village is lovely during Fall. The price for the gondola is a bit expensive ($25) and only offer 2-way trip. Would love to see one-way trip option if you want to go descend down the mountain. Trails are not clearly marked and hard to tell which ones dogs are allowed on.
Visited Summer 2020. Views were breathtaking. Mount Tremblant was the highlight of my Quebec trip.
I would highly recommend staying overnight near/at the resort (something I did not do), because you will be tired at night, and it will be difficult to drive back to the main cities (Montreal/Quebec City) at night time. Night-time driving was tough with all of the hilly highways. I would not do the night-time driving again here.
Loved the Village - a lot of variety with the stores and restaurants. Did the gondola, cabriolet, paddle boating, and Tonga Lumina. Tonga Lumina was amazing! I'm so glad I stayed back at night to this (Make sure to book tix in advance). Personally I felt Tonga Lumina @ Mont Tremblant was better than Terra Lumina @ Toronto Zoo.
Personally I liked Mont Tremblant more than Blue Mountain in Ontario. Mont Tremblant is larger and has more things to do. I would go back to Mont Tremblant especially to view all of the fall colours.
Hello Autumn The summit of the Mont Tremblant. Amazing view! I was blessed. Thank you, Lord for this exquisite nature of Quebec, Canada! I came here each year four times amazing area to walk and hiking, great for ski, amazing restaurants.
Amazing, we have a great experience there, specially the Gondola to the summit. Great food, a little bit pricey, but worth it, we ate at Le Shack great and delicious hamburger, and the best sangria I had in a long time, we also ate at Le Q. G. I had a pasta out of this world and my husband a pork tomahaw amazing, also had a filet mignon at the Bull's Eye restaurant and a great pina Colada. All and all great experience, definitely we are coming back.
Mont Tremblant Ski Resort is truly one of the best globally. You have a plethora of beautiful, unique tracks to explore that will require multiple days to fully explore. You will never get bored of this place. The views are phenomenal, the customer service top notch. They really take care of all the small details to ensure your experience is unforgettable. Highly recommend, this is my #1 pick for skiing/snowboarding in Canada.
Très très bel endroit pour toutes sortes d'activités à l'extérieur durant toute l'année! Allez voir leur site Web. Plusieurs bon resto dans un endroit absolument beau! Stationnement et sentiers gratuit.
Beautiful place to get relaxed and enjoy the vacation. Where you can feel the nature and deers infront of you anytime. A place where you feel joy, peace
Tickets: I was there on 23th of may 2021.be careful. You buy the ticket at the box office. But by one application, the turns are observed. This is good, but unfortunately it is not observed by the operators. My daughter got a turn in the trampoline section and exactly by the screen that the operator showed me, my daughter was after the second person. But I noticed a lot of people coming in before my daughter. When I asked them, they said that whoever is inside the fence, he will go ahead while we were asked to act during the application. It has a beautiful environment, but I do not recommend the use of tools such as cable cars or trampolines, which are not observed in any turn. By the way, the line is not just what you see. It has a more complicated process and information is taken from you!
Spring time maintenance and minimal services available, but still beautiful anytime of year, went golfing a les ruisseaux decent nine hole course with a driving range
*** SPRING SKIING REVIEW ** I skied 3 of the last 5 days of the 20/21 season (Apr 8-10) and let me tell you, So.much.fun. This was my very first time here, and my first time skiing so late in the year. Just from the limited terrain I ran (only about 45% was open), it is a real skiers hill. Plenty of widely varied terrain, narrow techy shoots to steep moguled runs to wide open groomers. CONDITIONS: Mornings were good, especially on the Northside, but conditions deteriorated quickly once noon rolled around. Afternoons saw puddles, dirty snow, ice patches and extended grass spots. Additionally, It was VERY MOGULED, which I guess is expected this late in the season. Many of the main runs were no longer groomed, though they do top up snow each day with snow (slush) from other areas to keep things skiable, but it also adds to some of the lumpiness. Weaker skiers will have a hard time navigating many of the blues and even some green runs due heavy sluff and moguls. Wouldn't recommend it for a first time experience (better to learn on proper snow). Unfortunately for the more advanced there weren't any glades available at all due to snow melt, but the moguls and other 'features' (rocks and grass) kept things interesting. LIFT LINES: Weekdays were a breeze, never had any issues with long waits (I am pretty impatient). Saturday was much busier but honestly still pretty reasonable, other than the mid mountain lifts (Thomas and TGV) which lined up more frequently, Thomas had a 20min+ wait at one point. I noticed the operators take a very laissez faire approach to directing line traffic, different from Blue Mountain and other hills that have lifties directing the various lines to manage traffic and keep things equitable. OVERALL: I am a fairly confident skier, and honestly I loved every minute of Spring skiing at Tremblant. I was giggling like a baby the whole way down on many runs. There was lots of opportunities to challenge myself and charge hard and fast, I can't even imagine a powder day here, that would be epic. Will be back with my Ikon pass next winter for a more proper introduction!
The village looks nice but with not enough places for skiers to rest or place their stuff or snack. There is only a very small cafe where everyone squeezed in such tight space to rest or eat. Not adequate for the price you pay to ski there.
The staffs here needs training. We were there twice and both times they made mistakes on our orders which inconvenienced us having to go back for corrections and both time not a word of apologies. Horrible services.
Wonderful ski resort with beautiful runs and kind people all around. There's also a nice little village in the resort to walk around. We drive 6+ hours to come here and it's worth every minute of it.
One thing to note is that coming here can actually be quite affordable (even during peak times) if you could find your tickets through cheaper avenues (i.e. Costco or their own sales) and stay at a place a short drive away through Airbnb or an equivalent instead of staying in the resort.
Make sure to not read the websight for the hours of skiing if your travelling from out of town like most people do my son and all his friends got there after driving 3 hours and looked at the hours of operation and it said closes at 5. BUT NOT THE CASE closed at 2 today thanks for a waste of a drive
Highly recommended! You can go for days and never get sick of it. There are so many shops and places to eat. I tried a maple syrup on a stick. It was DELICIOUS! They did a row of hot maple syrup on snow and you place your stick on it. In 45 seconds you can wind it on a stick and eat it like s lollipop. Did I mention how DELICIOUS it is? ! OMG! It's a must try and Mont Tremblant is a must experience. I went on Christmas with my loved ones and it was my favorite Christmas is all time!
Its Awesome because you can go skiing and you can ice skating and snow tubing. It's such a good place for snow and it's so fun going down a hill skiing or snowboarding.
Not sure who or what to blame for the terrible ski conditions but while there are many ways to groom a mountain i would be interested in the philosophy of that at Mont Tremblant. It seems to rain every Friday and this does not help but grooming and letting it freeze like an airport runway is hard to understand. I hope the weather cooperates or the grooming schedule can be more flexible.
Great little resort in Quebec about an hour away from Montreal. Were there at the end of August 2017. Stayed at Residence inn, right in the centre of the village. The activities were awesome, loved the beach and tennis club with inflatable iceberg to jump off. The Aqua Club la Source was spectacular, and I loved the Luge track! The panoramic gondola was lovely. Having popular chain stores such as Colombia, North Face and Roots was a bonus, they have a small grocery store there, and it’s a 10 min drive to the Metro store. However, I found that a lot of places close early. The Cabriolet (inter-resort gondola) closes at 5pm so for the after hours you have to walk up the hill which gets VERY tiring, and the Casino Gondola closes at 5 as well so you have to take the bus. Even the hotel pool and the Aqua Club close at 7. Outdoor pool at Aqua club was completely closed. Overall great experience and will return.
Tremblant is a wonderful plate to visit with your dog on the weekend or on the fall foliage season. Of course, definitely worth visiting all year-round too!
