Parking system is problematic. You have to go to the service desk, where it closes early and you have to discuss with parking security then park back to find the security officer in the main building.
VIP experience the way to go. Having drinks before movie in a segregated VIP area, and being served at the seats, with airplane style fold away tables. Fantastic lounge leather chairs. Bar food being served which is fine for the style of setting. Will not view a movie in regular mode anymore. Fantastic option for the price of an additional ticket, well worth the price!
They're redoing the mall area, which may indeed be necessary, but it is currently in a state of construction at the moment.all references to the storied past of this building are being removed, the arena seats, the statues and the banners that hung at centre ice are now gone, although maybe temporarily.only time will tell.
Ok, this is about the VIP place downstairs, for a couple extra bucks you can actually have a good time here. Staff was polite & friendly and gave a great service. The theatre was super comfy and the limited place made it real nice to be among people who were there to see a movie and not being total. Hope this place survives because I plan to make it my default place.
Edit: 2021 juillet: Le forum m'a tellement manqué!
Finally able to go to the cinema again for the Victoria Day long weekend. Beautiful atrium! You can get mushroom burgers nearby! In the 1980's I saw Ozzy Osbourne and The Who here! People high up in the rafters, pre-concert, were throwing streaming toilet paper rolls down onto the rink accompanied by TOTO's "Hold the Line"! Here in 1971 was the first time I saw symphonic performances of Schostakovich and Ricard Strauss conducted by Franz Paul Decker.
What an historical place! You know when you enter a place and you feel like there was important moment there? Well you feel it directly when you enter the building. Decoration, ceiling, souvenir and architecture is simply perfect. Keep it that way.
It's a fun place to hangout, grab a beer at the bar, go shopping, play video games, ping pong, eat etc or even watch a movie. Plus it's right infront of the metro. There is something for everybody there.
Great place to park sometimes, descent bar, very comfortable movie theater. They also have dawson college classes in the building. When I went this time the middle level toilets near the comedy nest were out of order. They also had removed the siting area on the ground floor.
We were at the Comedy nest where we laughed for two hours. This is a great way to relieve stress, if only temporarily. We saw four acts and a fabulous m.c.
Clean place and same for the bathrooma. Okay service, the usher was a bit cold and unwelcoming. Could have been a tiring day for him. Overall experience was good.
I go mostly to Tim Horton's for my coffee in the morning but it also brings back memories from when I was a kid. Used to go see the Shriner's Circus, Ice Capades, etc
Great place but missing business and feels empty. This place has a lot of potential. Love the arcade and many games to play but not many great selections of games, after a while it gets boring.
Great place to hang out. Upstairs you have the option to chill with your friends playing some bowling, having some wings and drinks. Got the gym, and on top of that got the movie theater. The decor all over the place illustrates you with Canadian hockey history!
A nice piece of hockey history converted into a small building for fast food joints and bars. The bowling alley in here is fun as well as the pool tables. It's a great place to hang out with friends and grab a drink or snack. Just be aware there will be Dawson students around seeing as there are classes on the top floor
The main attraction inside the Forum are the cinema complex with a few restaurants. The bigger Alexis Nihon Plaza shopping center is across Atwater Street with several floors packed with all kinds of shops, boutiques, supermarket, department stores, food courts, restaurants with a Metro station.
The old Forum is just that! Old outdated and the exterior is an eye sore to the city! It's a shame as no businesses ever make any real profit, so they simply move on! Walked by the old eye sore one may 31 2019 and notice there trying to splash a little new paint on the outside! The end result is? Still an eye sore to the city and traveling tourists!
Currently under renovation. Not many stores left. The movie theatre is pretty good and rarely packed. Even on Tuesday's. Also has a bar with a bowling alley and a gym.
Good drinks, great place to bring your friends and have a good night gaming, food is great, the vibe is chill. The staff is helpful. Not too pricey, you'll want to go back!
This museum/mall former arena of Les Canadiens, where the hockey franchise last won the Stanley Cup, now houses a movie theater, fast food joint, souvenir boutique, comedy & pool club/bar with indoor parking.
I didn’t like they removed the original seats from the first floor. I just loved to seat there and put some of the great live albums that were recorded in this place (Rush, Queen, and many other artists) and image I was back in time!
