RACIST STAFF! Forced us to order extra dish! Forced us to tip more than our comfortable limit. When we asked they said- DON'T COME HERE NEXT TIME? ! This is not how you treat customers.

Terrible and rude service. Seems like they are having trouble paying their rent so they force people to give a tip after giving bad service and giving below average food. Avoid this place.

Great ambience, good quality food. But the photos in the menu can be misleading so ask the server about what’s really expected in the dish. I ordered a falafel plate which had a picture of a few falafels at the edge of the plate and the middle of the plate has hummus (photo attached in post). When i got my order there was barely any hummus anywhere on the entire plate and they had instead added salad to get away with the lack of hummus. When i asked about it the owner rudely argued about the pricing of hummus vs the price of this falafel plate at first but ended up giving a small portion of hummus in the end to make up for the false advertising. Another oddity in the menu is that if you want a falafel pita, you have to take it to go, you cannot sit and eat it in the restaurant regardless of how empty the restaurant is. If you wanna eat the falafel pita in the restaurant, you gotta get a combo (pita + drink + fries). No matter how good the ambience and food is, these kind of encounters with the restaurant staff do put a damper on your overall experience.

Read all the reviews before you decide to come here! Do not support a restaurant that treats their paying customers like animals not like humans! The manager and waiters are like a gang - rude and racist. We asked him about the wrong receipt- He yelled on top of his lungs saying “get out! ” And created a very insulting and disrespectful scene for. But afterwards, he realized his mistake and shut his filthy mouth. He kept addressing us “you muslims” although he himself is muslim? Who does that?
We are forced to tip after bad service. He says he pays the waiters $8/hr so we are bound to tip.

Food is very small amount compared to price.

This place was an absolute disaster, and if you read through the reviews carefully, it becomes evident that many of them are fake! The falafel was practically swimming in oil, the chicken was as dry as a desert, and the beef had an unbearable stench. They practically forced us to order an excessive amount of food, which resulted in half of it going straight into the trash. The service? Don't get me started! The waiters were incredibly rude, practically hurling the menu at us and pressuring us to order way more than we wanted. And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to demand a tip for their horrendous customer service. A complete and utter disaster of a dining experience with coercive tactics to inflate orders, and those questionable reviews make it clear that something fishy is going on here!

This place is located just in the heart of old Montreal. Their chicken poutine is just delicious. View is amazing.

Very good fresh food. The trio hamburger is one of the best burgers I’ve had. Chicken skewers are really good too. Perfect location! Very friendly owner

We happened to visit this restaurant and were excited to try some Middle Eastern cuisine in Montreal while touring the area. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 children.

Upon arrival, we received a rather unwelcoming reception that seemed to stem from frustration. We assumed it might have been her personal issue. With two hungry children and two adults, we were eager to place our order. However, when we tried to order three items, she informed us of their minimum order requirements. Consequently, we added one more item to our order. The food turned out to be just average compared to the Arabic/Lebanese food we've had in the Middle East. It didn't live up to the hype we had seen in reviews. We're uncertain if this is the norm in North America.

The service left much to be desired, and we felt that they displayed excessive arrogance. Ordering food from them felt like they were doing us a favor. At times, there were expressions that made us wonder why we hadn't mentioned something earlier.

After this entire ordeal, I requested the bill and had to go to the counter to retrieve it. It amounted to around CAD 70. I swiped my card and skipped the tipping part due to the poor service we had received. However, the man at the counter abruptly grabbed the card reader and voided the transaction, insisting on a 15% tip. I was taken aback, as tipping is usually given willingly as a token of appreciation for good service. How could someone demand or snatch it? He explained that this was their practice and mentioned it was common in the Quebec province, which I was not aware of.

I left the restaurant feeling as though I had been cheated, despite the relatively low tip amount of just CAD 10-11.

If you find yourself in a desperate situation, you can consider going there, but be prepared to take your chances at your own risk.

Had the worst experience ever. All the reviews are absolutely fake. We understood that only after going there.

Had very bad service, the person was touching the food while serving, literally dipping her fingers on the food while bringing it. They were so rude, demanded to order more as they had a min order policy, which was not intimated earlier. Disgusted with the service, they forcefully asked to tip more. Even while politely asking the reason, he was so arrogant. Asked for extra money for a small portion of mayonnaise. And we see this best restaurant rating. Lol

Like seriously? How do you get all these fake reviews?
